Rustic Polish restaurant offering traditional dumplings, hearty stews and a wide array of vodkas.
Delicious East European food! Some of it is from my childhood.I like cheese&potato and onion&bacon pierogies the most. 🥟
An authentic Polish experience. Hearty, generous meals that are extremely satisfying. Great food, good wine and a fantastic vodka selection. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed and the service is great excellent.
Average food and we waited 2 hours for our meal. Weve asked politely many times but they couldnt give us any explanation nor how long it will take. We noticed 2-3 tables that came after us got their food before us too. For the price tag, the portion size isnt huge either, not worth it, never again.
Terrible service and very average food! The night would have been a total disaster had it not been for the company of 15 friends on out table.Understaffed for the fully booked restaurant - 2 people only serving. Waiting times very long, Food very ordinary in quality and size of serving - I received on and a half Kielbasa to be told when questioned why "thats the way it is"Staff were slow and argued when told only 4 of 6 entrees were received.NEVER AGAIN
Food was amazing, atmosphere great and not overly priced. Best pierogis Ive ever had. Definitely excited to go back.
Absolutely love this place! Beautiful atmosphere that mimics a polish folk town bar/diner. The staff are super nice and friendly! The food is beautifully presented and is quite tasty! This places has some authentic polish drinks and foods that you normally wont find at any other polish restaurant. Highly recommend!
Great Polish restaurant with authentic food in a restaurant that looks like it was relocated from Poland itself. Food was wonderful and would go back.
Love this place. Authentic and affordable Polish food with a very personal touch. It stays open late too, which is great for a weeknight dinner spot after 830-9pm. Great menu options and the Polish beers are fantastic
Such an unexpected gem in Glebe.Went here hoping to be reminded of being in Poland and boy did they succeed!Pierogi were heaven and all the other meat dishes were succulent.Staff were really pleasant as well.
My partner & I went here last Sunday for dinner. I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Really loved the vibe in here too. I cant wait to come back here.
Was nice but we were still hungry as the portions were quite small. Regarding the price, you should put at least a bit more potatoes.Nice atmosphere.
I recently came with couple of friends for dinner, after having a great Easter meal here. Unfortunately my second visit was disappointing. Not only the we felt that food tasted worse vs the prior time (zurek was especially disappointing), but also it took a very long time for one of the dish to arrive (sausages). I understand the restaurant is short staffed, but the dish was clearly forgotten about and zero responsibility was taken for it.Additionally we got charged for the side dish that was already part of the main course.I really liked the interior and homely atmosphere of the place, but hope that the service will improve.
It was a home-style meal and it was delicious. Mulled wine so good.
Food was great, desserts not so much. Overall we still enjoyed it.
Not particularly impressed with the food...cozy ambiance that will make you believe that you are in Europe. Friendly staff. Good price
Came here for bday dinner with my wife. We are fans of Polish clubs/restaraunts and will definitely be adding this to our regular. Great feed and drinks.
Well started with a recommendation from Martin who was so friendly and hospitable and he delivered. Cold drink Kompot was perfectly sweet and flavourful drink which is a must try and also a Grzaniec ( Hot Winewhich is warm and very please to drink as well, And the Cheese Dumplings with Sour soup, OMG never had any dumplings which was that tasty before , it was just sensational, and Grilled Chicken and Nalesnik (dessertat the end was spectacular. Would highly recommend for anyone and Thanks Martin and all the Na Zdrowie Team.
Very friendly and absolutely delicious authentic Polish cuisine .. yum yumWe definitely will be going back
Our second visit to this place and we have enjoyed it again. The food is excellent , great choice of polish beers and spirits, you’d have trouble trying them all.Cosey atmosphere and pleasant surroundings..The waiters we ran off their feet ,part of a polish experience.
Came here with my partner to have a little pre-valentines day celebration. We both loved it there. Its sort of a hidden gem on its street but I assure you their food is amazing. Half of the food (more like all of themwe couldnt pronounce, but the Staff were sooo amazing and accomodating going around with a smile☺ they also serve authentic Polish drink which is amazing and tastes even more amazing! Inside their restaurant, I felt a rustic and medieval vibe with music playing in the background🤭Would definitely recommend this place if you want to engulf yourself into another cuisine and culture.
Great Polish cuisine in cosy atmosphere. Excellent Duck, Chopin Cake dessert and Vodka cocktails.
Never eaten polish before, and lucky I went with a few friends that guided me about the food, super nice ensure you have the beetroot soup with the wrap you see here.
We enjoy the local atmosphere and friendly staff at this great little Polish restaurant.Food is great, we enjoy the dumplings and pork knuckle..
This is a great authentic Polish dining experience, right down to the furniture and wall adornments. The restaurant also offers a great selection of imported polish beers to accompany the meal. The food itself is predominantly comfort food. Filling and hearty with typical bavarian flavours. Id recommend the dumplings!
Had dinner here last week. It was very good as usual this is our 5th time here. The peirogi was perfect and just delicious. Kielbasa was also so so good. We got golabki as well it was lacking salt and slightly dry wasnt as tasty as last time but still good. The polish beer was also great. Service was awesome as always. Overall a great night 😊
We had their Polish Christmas dinner. Great service, interesting food. Enjoyed it a lot.
Wonderful Christmas Eve dinner experience, with interesting and delicious food and drinks, and great service!
Foods and beer was good. Service was good but very slow. We ordered our foods around 6:50 and it took 30 minutes to get appetiser and took another 40 minutes to get mains. There were only 6 customers in the restaurant and I don’t think kitchen was very busy with orders.
Good for sour taste lover! Dumplings r amazing taste, and cabbage with potato Meat is delicious.the environment of restaurant is cute and National characteristics, but the music style is too popular music 😃😃Desserts are not as excellent as expected, maybe the taste is too sour for me,but I will said they r still good.
Food is good , decent portions , service is super awesome. The waitresses are attentive and very friendly. Definitely have to try their sledzik and paired with their imported flavoured vodka. Pieroji is too die. it does take a bit of waiting time but its worth it
This was a lovely find. It is very difficult to find a nice Polish restaurant in Sydney. The decor was very nice, the service fantastic and the food just like being back in Poland. The cocktails were delicious and so were the polish beers. The Pierogi cannot be missed when coming to this restaurant. The price is also very reasonable
I have been to Poland twice and I was really excited to try this restaurant. It was great. Definitely reminded me of so many places and experiences. The food was really fresh, authentic, portions were good and came out in good time. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
Never eaten at a Polish restaurant before. Food was different and quite tasty (especiaaly desert). Try the Porter. It is a very nice dark beer and goes well with the food. Good prices and friendly staff. Well worth a visit
Has a nice tradition ambience. The food was authentic and very delicious. Would highly recommend trying the Pierogi which are their traditional dumplings. The pork in prune sauce was also very nice.
Good food, good ambience and great service. The pork loin with prunes is good. Would avoid the stew. The dumplings are amazing and a must have. Would recommend the baked cheesecake for dessert. The waitress was very courteous and did a great job despite it being a very busy night
There are a few Polish restaurants around Sydney, but Na Zdrowie in Glebe is the one place I would happily visit every week. The food is delicious, the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. The most beautiful aspect of this restaurant is the nostalgia it brings my father, who is a very proud Australian but misses his homeland. My family love Na Zdrowie and I hope your family and friends will too.
Loved the setting, ambience, atmosphere and most of all the food! The dumplings tasted so good, the main meals were delicious and went well with the vodka shots - what an interesting variety and no one was disappointed. Great place to spend with a group of friends and would definitely return.
Our party of four had a lovely time here, the food and service was outstanding. It was our first to try Polish food and it was a great experience. The desserts were especially good.
Delicious as always. Such fantastic food. A little too got and noisy, but thats what youd expect for such a little place. Amazing.
Pretty expensive place which is understandable because its one of the only polish restaurants here but I dont believe the portion sizes and type of food justify it. Nevertheless, cozy atmosphere and homely food. Great place if you are looking for some polish food and drinks.
We had a fantastic home style meal.I got flaki (tripe soup), kopytka (potato dumplings), and pierogi ruskie (polish dumplings with cheese and potato), with some classic polish drinks. The portions were quite small but absolutely delicious. Everything was prepared fantastically and reminded me of home. I highly recommend Na Zdrowie and I’ll definitely be back.P.S, you need a reservation.
Delicious, authentic & satisfying Polish food and wonderful service! Went for a birthday dinner tonight, our server Paulina was fantastic, very attentive & friendly. Would love to return and the more yummy items on the menu.
The food was definitely authenticIf youre familiar and a fan of Eastern European food, then you can expect a hearty and filling meal. However if youre new to this cuisine I cant say the flavours are particularly strong. The meats are well cooked but not infused and this is the theme with all the dishes we ordered such as the pancakes and dumplings
A warm and cosy atmosphere, great for a winters night meal. The food was delicious - we had the mushroom pierogi (the best part of the whole meal), the meat & cabbage rolls (delicious!and grilled meat with potato dumplings (also very good). The traditional mulled wine and polish beer were the perfect addition to the meal. The staff were all very friendly. Highly recommended and will definitley be returning.
I cannot get enough of this place! Those amazing portion sizes and beer servings. Just like Slav food should be served. Try their desserts (but just careful to save enough space and vigor after the mains)!Чудова запiканка!
The food at Na Zdrowie is good. The char grilled chicken in a creamy horseradish sauce was a highlight. The restaurant gets very busy on a Saturday night, so service can be a little slow. For anyone who doesnt like chocolate, be careful when ordering desserts, even after carefully selecting a dessert that didnt include chocolate in the description, it still came out covered in chocolate sauce. A couple of our desserts had to be remade resulting in a long wait. Others had finished their desserts in the meantime.
Great atmosphere, authentic feel. Great traditional Polish food. Good and friendly service. Had a great time.
Cosy and delightful restaurant that serves wholesome and (what I understand to beauthentic Polish food that warms the soul. Staff are very friendly.Try asking them what the restaurant name means!
Really enjoyed this place, very warm and cozy interior and delicious polish food. Service was a little slow but made up when the food came out. Recommend the Herring for entree, it was surprisingly tasty!
A lovely cosy little restaurant with some amazing delicious food, great portion sizes, and friendly staff who were helpful. Definitely worth a visit.
