Huge shout out to all the staff here, and in particular Storhm who I believe was the floor manager. During the night my friend was not In a great head space and Storhm quickly noticed, bringing us both to a quieter area to calm down, going as far as to let my friend sleep it off on a couch in the cloak room where she was cared for. All around great night and by far the best service and treatment I have ever experienced before. Thank you

Honestly had a fantastic time here as a 36 yo man who was exhausted from a long working week and as antisocial as its humanly possible to be.The layout is simple but very effective. Cocktails were very nice (depending on who was making them).Staff throughout were were chilled and friendly.Was very pleased to learn that you could order Neapolitan pizza to the bar!The dj was amazing and the vibe of the crowed was great as it was very eclectic & diverse with the full age spectrum (I wasnt the oldest person there!)Great outdoor smoking area which gave me nostalgia for the stairs at Fabric before the smoking ban (a very long time ago). I took a picture and added to this review.I would sincerely recommend a night out here if anyone you vaguely like is on.

Lovely rooftop , busy but very friendly staff - reasonable prices - special shout out to the lovely door staff especially Andy who didn’t make us feel “too old” for this trendy place. Our two dogs were treated like VIPS too - well done NT can’t wait to visit again on our next trip 👍🥂😎

Cool place, turns into a club in the eve. Not sure if venue or organiser, but someone changed the free entry time from 10 to 9 on the event listings at around 9pm forcing everyone to pay entry. Cheeky.

Great punchy cocktails (which makes a change to the usual rubbish served in clubs & bars in Londondownside loos are a bit close to dancefloor

Warning - shady organisers out to rip you off. Saturday night DJ event was widely advertised as free entry before 10 PM. My friends and I arrived at 9:45 PM. There was no queue. Organisers at the door said they were completely full and couldn’t let us in, but if we came back between 10 and 10:30 PM they would see what they could do. We came back at 10:15 PM and they said “that will be £10 each please.” Cleary their scheme was to attract people with false advertising of a free event, but then force them to pay. I called them out for this and they got defensive and gave me waffly excuses. When we got into the venue, the place was pretty much empty - only at about a quarter capacity!

Terrible. I left my jacket in the cloak room and contacted the email address repeatedly for over a week and got no reply. They also don’t have a contact number. I had to go via their Instagram to get a response by which point it was 2 weeks since I had left my jacket. Was told that it was not in lost and found. Where is it then?! Clearly cannot be trusted with anyones belongings.

The organisers ripped me and my friends off. Advertised event as free entry before 10 PM. Didn’t let us in even though we got there well before 10, claiming they were full. Went back at 10:15 and they let us in instantly, but charged us £10 each. When we got inside, it was completely empty! The organisers and door staff were super shady and knew exactly what they were doing.

Wonderful lineups, great location and views, good drinks, awful crowd, absolutely awful harassing crowd every time I went there.

The front of door staff was unprofessional and quoted policies for checking wallets that are no where to be seen online. I went inside before 7:30pm with a massive backpack and no one checked me but my female friend that arrived at 19:30+ had to empty her thin wallet for a check and the security guard unprofessionally started grabbing her bag contents without saying anything and without any formal authority. We complained to the manager in charge inside and he barely seemed bothered so we left and decided to spend our money elsewhere. Pretentious and unprofessional bs.

The security staff started touching and grabbing my staff from my purse without my permission. I wasnt allowed to enter the bar as I refused to let the security guy touch/search my card holder, with all my bank cards. I emptied the card holder from my bank cards but he didnt want to search it without the cards, he turned the head on the other side, he told me "I dont want to search you anymore and you wont go in"

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! The place was half empty, and they didnt let our friend come up because she refused to show them the inside of her wallet and all her cards claiming its their policy after 7.30pm. This policy is nowhere to be found.

DISAPPOINTING! Utterly devoid of any vibe ☹️ A so-called dance venue with HORRIBLE acoustics. Most of what you hear is the audience chatter that eclipses the music. Steer clear if you’re actually looking to enjoy actual music 😖

Yesterday 7 th of May I had a free ticket until 22:30.I arrived on time but they let us waiting in the queue for 7 min, so of course my ticket after that, expired.. I talked with the manager who made me feel uncomfortable. Better to learn how to behave, especially with customers.

Get a sofa on the rooftop 🌞💯😎 the lady in the bathroom is the nicest lady ever, she is their MVP employee!!!

At the weekend they told us only people with tickets were allowed entry. I’ve been coming to NTS since 2015, and I hope this was only because of the bank holiday and won’t become a normal thing. Having entry/ tickets on the door is a key part of running a venue like this in Hackney, and without that it kills any spontaneity. If you don’t have venues you can go and dance in spontaneously, that kills the culture of an area and ruins it for local people. Something to keep in mind.

If you love taking flash videos and forcibly getting into peoples personal space then this is the place for you. The venue was oversold, and to some of the most unbearable people Ive ever encountered in a club.Barry Cant Swim played a great set, but I still went home early.They were also charging people £15 for re-entry if they left. You couldnt even pay me that much to ever go back.

I booked the rooftop for 23rd April for 40 people to celebrate my Birthday. I have been given less than 2 weeks notice that they cannot do this. I have emailed asking about the cancellation and received no response.Prior to this communication was great and they were being really helpful however, to let down such a big booking with 9 days notice to find somewhere else and send no apology email or anything is atrocious.I am understanding that things may be out of their control but customer service is not.

Another favourite of mine simply because it seems to cater for all. IN the afternoon its a cool coffee/workplace for the public with good selection of drinks and food and at night is a great wee bar with a terraced area for when its sunny with heaters when its colder and great live music in the form of jazz on weds, thursday and friday nights. And they get some great artists playing there. And get this. Its free! I mean absolute genius for exposure from all sides. The artists are in amongst you while you watch their peers and the whole experience is quite simply fantastic. The security and bar staff are some of the best you will experience in europe in my mind. No egos here and super friendly to all and if youre a regular then youll know because they know and make you feel even more appreciated for going there. Great place. 4.5-5 stars tbh

Great venue! Staff are friendly and the live music provided a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend booking a sofa on live music nights as it gets pretty busy!

99% of staff were great but one aggresively made us leave at 8pm even though we had our table until 9, with no apology

Went to see a DJ, who’d asked ticket holders to do covid tests before coming. But no one checked these on the door, nor were there any COVID restrictions. Sweaty packed box with no ventilation or windows open - gross even without covid. Expensive G&T made with poor quality tonic and lime cordial. Generally not a thoughtfully planned out venue. Packed in the smoking area and no crowd control. Badly designed toilets. Weak soundsystem. Had a dull night vs other London places.

Virus with flow tests request after 7pm-8pm meanwhile a group 3 entered at 6:30pm? Must be the most pathetic and random policy when theres no such policy at the door. Never returning again and found it absurd! People could easily fake their vaccination tests with Photoshop. Also, there was no social distances indoors so I do not understand the approach behind it. Not even worth 1* star avoid entering because they are illogical and unfair. The security are pathetic and rude when theyre not on duty all day and seem to appear for the sake of it in the evening hours.

Great atmosphere, small but good range of cocktails, more loud and clublike inside later into the night but good outside terrace space for the bar atmosphere later on too!

Instafans and hipsters paradise, suits group nights out and parties, good energy nice vibes.

Loved it here!! Wednesdays and Thursdays they do live Jazz nights! Such a cool atmosphere and they bring different artist. You can seat inside where the music is but they also have an outside area with heaters. The Jazz starts at 8pm. They dont serve food but you can order from a pizza place they have set a qr code in the tables and it comes quick. Drinks are a very fair price and staff is super friendly. If you make a reservation Id suggest to book the sofas, very cozy.Id definitely recommend this place!!

Do not book here!! We booked a table here weeks in advance for a birthday (20+ people), they cancelled ONE day before leaving us with nowhere to go. If we had cancelled on them with such little notice we would have been charged £200! Really sloppy and unprofessional behaviour, would not recommend for bookings or large parties

Went for the jazz on a Thursday night and it was a good vibe. Comfy velvet green sofas and really good cocktails.We were sat right at the back so couldnt see the stage at all and the music from the speaker was super loud so it was difficult to talk to each other (but you are there for the jazz I guess).Cocktails were £10 each but the card machine asks if you want to add a tip so I did but then they also automatically added a 10% service charge! Which the waitress didnt tell us about and I couldnt see it anywhere on the menu.

Great Live Jazz, went on a Thursday night. You have to book in advance. Very relaxed environment. If you can get there early then you can get a good seat to view the jazz. We got there for around 6.30 and the live session started at 8pm.

Great spot to sink a cocktail or two, friendly staff, good menu and the option to send out for a great pizza (managed to get a gluten free oneDJs were very good even though we thought we had booked to see a band!!!!! Bandsintown got the description wrong but we still enjoyed the music

Such a welcoming, lively venue. Drinks and service were great. Jeremy was an amazing host, so welcoming and friendly from when we arrived till when we left! Will definitely come back.

Best Wednesday night out in London. If youre looking for a chill atmosphere with some friends NT and is always a great shout. Drinks are a little expensive but the venue makes up for it. 4/5

Very quiet for such a nice place. Suppose people still at work. Love the music they are playing. A few flight of steps to get here, but the staff are great and free WiFi eh! What can go wrong there? Chilling.

NT’s bar in London Fields is situated in the heart of Netil House, just moments away from the station. It is a relaxed warehouse style cafe during the day – Morty Bob’s – and turns into a lively bar in the evening. A highlight of the NT’s is its expansive terrace area with booths for smaller and larger group. The fact it overlooks the overground train tracks just adds to the ‘East London’ vibe! The interior is pretty chic with leather chairs, communal tables and potted plants.During the week, this lovely bar in London Fields is perfect to spend some time with mates and watch the sunset. Come the weekend (when I visited!the party starts! As early as 10pm the dance floor was buzzing with DJ’s playing tunes from disco and house to funk, soul and R&B until 1.30am. If you still have it in you, head on to NT’s sister venue, Night Tales afterwards!NT’s cocktail list includes interesting twists with no ranging from £8 to £10. Make sure you check out the happy hour with 241 classic cocktails from 5-7pm each day! We had a couple of cocktails off menu which showed the versatility of the bar. Our first one had dansom with a touch of banana sour, lemon syrup, egg white and ginger beer. It had a little kick to it which was great! Second up we had a refreshing gin based cocktail with citrus tinges which was strong and powerful.We had an awesome time at NT’s bar in London Fields – the atmosphere was lively, the bar was cool but not pretentious and the cocktails were great. It reminded me of being at rooftop bar in Lisbon that I love!

100% my favourite place in London! Absolutely love that this place caters to all vibes. Whether you want a chill night out, or you want to put your dancing shoes on, theres always space for you here. Bartenders are super nice. Friday nights are when its popping, but if you just want a nice chill night out, its nice over weekday nights as well. Beautiful outdoor patio/rooftop. Would have loved to have seen an open mic hosted out there.

Great cocktails! Amazing people! One of the most alternative bars in the area. They also have a kitchen and a lovely terrace from which you can see the Overground passing by. If you are into Hackney and East London you shouldn’t definitely stop by for drink 🍷🍸🥃

No more expensive than you would expect. The interior and views are good. The garden is nice and has trains passing which is pretty cool. The 2 for 1 cocktails are nice. The music is is ridiculously bland.

Great converted warehouse venue by London fields - lounge / cafe style during the day and full bar / club venue at night with live music and theme nights on occasion...Theres a great outdoor area with tables and seating too with a wonderful backdrop of London to enjoy complete with the overground tracks running by just below you...very kitsch East London, including the bare concrete stairwell you have to climb to get in and the alley you walk down to get to the door... 😉🤗
