NORTH SHORE OPEN SPACE PARK BEACH - Public beach in Miami Beach, United States
They have very good family events all year long.
Fabulous waves, Sea Grapes and incredible vegetation. Peaceful.
Ive been going here for years, always great service and great food. Fresh fish and appetizers. Just like being in Greece. They also have a great lunch special, which includes a appetizer, main course and a dessert for $32.00...Cant be beat anywhere.
The place is very nice, only was difficult to find a free barbecue place.
Really nice much calmer beach than South Beach also a great location for the full moon party.
My absolute go-to beach, it’s calm, it’s relaxing and it’s not over crowded. If you come in a weekday, you’ll thank me!❤️
Loved it & not crowded!!!Plus you can find parking!!!Areas for cooking if you want also!!😁
This is an absolute hidden gem in the Miami area. Not the crowds of South Beach and a beach thats equally nice. Youll always find parking along the strip.
Love the park also have a lot of parking and is a very nice beach access too
Was a great place to enjoy some beautiful nature now is a shelter full of homeless is no way to get a table or take a shower every day every morning packed with homeless....the smell of urine and trash is disgusting and the park staff supports it they dont care about it.
!Amazing!I dont have word to describe how beautiful is
I love it. The new boardwalk that extends well pass 60 street. A great place to walk, jog, skate and cycle. To unwind after a long day and view the ocean. Or start your day with pure serenity. The further South you go youll experience more people as you get closer to beach residential. The breeze from the ocean makes the exercise that much more welcoming. I think mosquito repellant is needed because its still humid mid July.
Windy today, beach is not crowded. Water seems good for surfing & wind sails.
Nice picnic areas. Grills ready to be lit. 2 min walk to the beach. Very nice location.
Once you get in its fantastic but the parking is all street parking with a fee. The fee is marginal $1 an hour but it would be nice to parking somewhere.
Nice park next to the beach!Loved it i even fly my Drone 🫶🏻
I find this part of the beach is much more cleaner, quiet, and residential compared to south beach. Great for photography, biking, and walking along the boardwalk straight shot to the end of South Pointe Park. Also, recommend for working out, running, and dog walking.
Great beach, if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of South Beach and just relax. Park near 77 onward. The park is under construction after 84st. Great place for families. Great place for a BBQ or picnic. Parking is easy
Great park for walk, stroll with some shadow, anytime exit to beach area. Some of our friends celebrated birthdays there. Big plus that it has also playground.
My favorite go to beach. Close to home and doesnt get all the attention that the restaurant bordering beaches get. The sand is nice and water isnt so cloudy and murky as some other spots and the nude beach isnt far up if youre into that.
Beautiful, natural park. However, they have some pretty strict rules about barbecues and hammocks. Therefore, warning the park 3 stars.
Very popular. Parking was scarce. A lot of homeless. Some areas were clean but a lot of abandoned hotels and apt complex along with others getting fixed. Torn down structures. Very windy, beach was full of sun bathers.
Excellent beach! Quiet and away from all the commotion but all the same beautiful waves and sand
Beautiful beach and very clean
One of my favorite spots to get some private beach time on a free public beach. Easy to park in the area as well. Yes, that blue thing in the sand is a jellyfish, sometimes that happens!
As someone who usually goes to South Pointe, I was desperate for a beach that was just as clean but without the spring breakers or loud crowds. This beach was awesome! It was still pretty packed, but mainly family oriented. Most were families who were very chill and minding their own business. There wasn’t loud music, no crazy drunk spring breakers, and I found parking in 2 minutes. Parking was significantly cheaper than south pointe AND was free after 6PM. Plus, the water was absolutely perfect. Great vibe and crowds, I’m so glad I found a new go-to beach! If you’re trying to have a relaxing trip to the beach without crazy partying near you, this is it.
Every month there is a full moon drum circle right on the beach from 6pm to 10pm. It is a beautiful event where young and old, families with kids and groups of friends gather under the full moon. Bring your drum, Tam tam, tambourine and join the circle or simply danse, walk along rhe Beach or sit and enjoy. It gets crowded sometimes bit you can move away, you have the entire beach!! The reflection of the moon on the ocean with the rhythm of the drums is an experience!
A beautiful park with lots of natural shade from the canopy of the trees. There are several wide paved trails for walking and bike riding, restrooms and water fountains. There is also a designated area for dogs with an agility course. There is beach access available that opens up to another paved trail to explore.
Excellent park in the middle of high value hotel properties. I’m really glad the city maintains this park! Also watch out for the Portuguese man o war!!
South Pointe Pier is the terminus of a 8 mile paved walking & bicycle path beginning at 79th Street in Miami Beach (off Collins Ave, only a few blocks from the tragic condo collapse in Surfside). Its new, its beautiful, and if you love people watching its an absolute delight. Moreover, when riding along this path, you get to see all the activities along the emerald green ocean, and glimpse of luxury beach living too. The back side of the famous Fountainbleau Hotel is stunning. A bit further north are some terrific examples of art deco architecture. The police and park rangers were out in force today giving warnings to people on ebikes. A second warning comes with a ticket. At 7th street and at 12th street you can rent a Citibike if you donthave your own it costs $18 for 4 hours. Theres a number of playgrounds for young kids, and sand volleyball courts for adults. Or, you can lift weights if thats your thing. Even though it was pretty busy this afternoon, the ride time was less than one hour each way. It was a perfect breezy day. Even at $4.00 a gallon for gas, its worth the drive to get there. We patked at 83rd St, three hours for $3.35.
Nice beach, very clea and not crowded. Next to a very nice park with picnic tables, grills, bathrooms and a playground. Really nice family area. Being your own umbrella and chairs. No vendors at this part but a nice place to enjoy the sand and waves and beautiful weather.
Plenty of parking across the street with clean restrooms and outdoor shower point.
The beach way blocked.#Update - When you entry to the park take the left side, and then right.
I went there for the #fullmooncircle and it was amazing! I definitely gonna come back! 😎🤟
I was born and raised in miami. When I come to visit like most folks I go to South Beach. However this Friday it was crowded loud and way too many people. So I decided to try North Beach which is about 6 miles past South Beach. Its a local Beach and therefore there was tons of space very few people on it.Parking is cheap compared to South Beach and plentiful with a park between the parking lot and the actual Beach itself.
Shaded parking lots close by on west side of Collins. Need an app to pay to park. Shaded walk through park to sand. Lots of tables in shade. Fairly clean bathroom at entrance. Big beach with great sandbars during low tide.
Its less crowded than south beach. The waves can be bigger. Its gorgeous with beautiful parks and trails.
This place is awesome. You can walk your dog through, it has a big no-leash place so your dog can run or play with toys. Also it has some structures for him to climb. Its very well maintained and its very beautiful.
The beach is pretty, clean and not overcrowded. Good for family and pet. When we went there, there was plenty of birds in the beach.
Third year weve came to Miami for vacation.. We always stop here for our last soak of water and sun before we leave. Its defiantly worth fighting the man o war stings over.and Im sure we will be back.... Only KEY WEST next year..keylargo is the moat beautiful place Ive ever seen. East coat of florida just rules!! Dont matter where you are
Beautiful scenery! Spacious! Very clean! The beach is steps away and a perfect location. Not overcrowded. Perfect!
Great time day or night. They close the gate to the park at 8pm but that doesnt seem to be a problem. Super friendly local vibe, away from the resort bros, but close enough to the action. Plenty of insta-chics around to gaze at. Mad cats and racoons living in harmony.Plenty of grills for grillin, water fountains, restrooms, and a credit card swiper on a water bottle filler.Easy paid parking across the street, or risk it and park a little farther away in the neighborhood. My car was there when I returned.
My doggo is thankful for North Shore Open Space Parks Bark beach. There are very few oceanside parks where dogs are allowed. This happens to be the best one.
Really great park! It is a wonderful place to take your pets, ride your bike, have a bbq and even take a stroll on the beach.
We had an enjoyable experience hosting a picnic/bbq here at one of the many open air pavilions just off the beach. Lots of space to accomodate any size family or group of friends for an outing. Restrooms are located throughout the park, but could use some extra attention for cleanliness. However as busy as this park gets it’s understandable. The rest of the park is kept remarkably clean and has great walking paths for jogging or just taking a casual stroll. Also, there are some calisthenic based workout equipment such as pull-up bars throughout the park just off the walking paths. Lots of picnic tables and bbq pits available. Parking is pretty good for the area.
We drove by and stopped on our way back from Key West...people were having a good time...music going...picnics..kids playing ..plentiful parking across the street..it was a fun day at the beach to take a break from driving and take in all the summer beach fun. Bathrooms were clean and the area had plenty of shade and picnic tables.
Nice spot right next to the Beach with plenty of shade, seating areas, playgrounds, BBQs and even two special areas for dogs (one for large dogs and one for small)The park is well maintained and there seems to be plenty of staff driving around - so feels really safe too.The toilets were clean and also seemed to be "looked after".Was a great place to walk around on a hot day - but I can see it as a great location for a family picnic, BBQ or get together.
Beautiful and well cared place. This park has everything you need to spend a good time. And FREE!. There are 2 dog parks ( for small and big dogswith water and garbage bag supply all over the park. The restrooms are cleaned very often, as well as the trash containers. The people patrolling the park will provide to you with trash bags if you need. There are stations that provide sun protector and a new station to fill your bottle with filtered and cold water. Playground for kids, work out areas, grills , uncovered and covered areas with tables and benches. And the best part is you are a few steps from the beach.
Very nice and clean park. Lot of BBQ spaces and cabanas. Clean restroom. The beach is amazing. Fine sands, Baywatchs towers transparent water and really few people around.
From my sons first birthday to the times when I was playing here as a kid this will always be in my memories as one of the greatest Parks right next to the one of the most beautiful and exquisite beaches, America and probably the whole world has to offer. I highly recommend everybody come to Miami Beach and enjoy nature, Sun, endless fun, and of course a little bit of a partying!
