Cocktails are very pricy for what you get, the staff can be rude sometimes

My favorite cocktail bar since 2018, I came first time a few weeks ago after 3 years and when I looked at the bar and didnt saw the barman who I use to know, I was a bit scared of what the quality could be now, after all the people behind the bar is who makes the bar itself! And surprisingly a guy called Anton surprised us in an amazing way! Thank you for keeping the high standard of Njoy! See you soon!

Not only by the looks of it, but als by the cocktails you get why this is the longest existing cocktail bar in Amsterdam. 18 years of experience can be tastable in every sip. My friend and I have been here 3 times so far and it’s been amazing! The host Joe ? The one with the beautiful hair and refreshing energy made the experience great! He recommend the cocktail GIGI and it’s been my fav! I also enjoy the twister fries! Overall recommend this cocktail bar in Amsterdam. ☺️❤️

A bar in the middle of Amsterdam turning away people in leggings and sneakers! Wonder if it had to do with me being brown and if they would’ve turned me away this rudely, if I was white instead

Tried to pop in for a drink, the waiter let the couple in before us but then was very rude. We’ll gladly take our custom elsewhere in future.

A friend and I happened to come across NJoy on a Wednesday night while visiting the city, and we had a wonderful experience! The bartenders were friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Our drinks were fantastic- my friend got the champagne Geisha, and the bartender was kind enough to make me an off-menu drink (a last wordthat was one of the best drinks I have ever had. VERY highly recommend this place!

Our experience at Njoy was far from being enjoyable. I visited your “cocktail bar” with my friends while visiting Amsterdam in February. First, the waitress made a rude comment on my friend’s outfit, but that was only the start of it. The waitress us made us feel uncomfortable, by her notorious comments about us being”tourists”. The second waiter was clearly intoxicated, he spilled the water all over our table and was acting really weird. Overall, we felt unwelcomed, whole place was rather scetcht, we left as soon as we could.

Didn’t really NJoy it ;)))The waiters spilled their things multiple times during our (fortunatelyshort visit there, the waitress suggested my friend should leave as she deemed his outfit was not classy enough. What I would say was not classy enough was her attitude towards us and glassware of the "establishment". The alleged overbooking of the place seemed fabricated by the waitress. We ran away to Chupitos across the street as soon as we finished our overpriced "Chardonnay" glasses.

Nice people! Dont know much about cocktails though. Expansive, not a lot of fruit (nor liquid for that matter). Those two bad boys cost 35 EUR. Two stars for the nice ladies and for the laugh! 😘

It was my mates birthday and we wanted to celebrate it at NJOY. So as any rational person would do, we made an reservation. Which took forever to manage because a certain someone at NJOY didn’t take their job seriously enough to actually plan my friends birthday. FINALLY we were able to make a reservation for the ten of us. For his 22nd birthday by the way. Even though they were supposed to let us know that their policy only allows people of 23 and above.So we show up at NJOY and guess what? Our reservation was totally non existent. The host (who is supposed to be kind and welcoming by the waywas being totally oblivious about our request. He even had the audacity to send us away without an apology or anything. Maybe this place is cool and all but our experience there has not been one of the nicer ones that I read about in other reviews.Also, my pants were suddenly taken off.

I loved the cocktails, however, we were seated by often walkable area by the waiter and got squeezed every few minutes. Generally, the “couple” table was ridiculously small. I would work on optimizing this rather than trying to get as many as possible tables “taken”.

Really really nice place!!!! Authentic drinks, not usual grenadine/blue curacao mix fluids as everywere! Expensive but that worth it for 100%! Have tried 3 cocktails and each one was perfect.

A great experience and great vibe. It was a bit less a few years ago but with the return of a key person its getting back to where it should be.Must visit due to the best mixologist in the Netherlands

Really expensive compared to other cocktail bars in the city, price/quality is fair.Keep in mind that this bar has a closed door, the host/hostess will decide if you are allowed to enter depending on the way your dress, talk and so on.

The cocktails are amazing, the atmosphere is great and the staff is extraordinarily friendly. They do everything they can so you feel good and check up on you if everythings still great. Always smiling and never annoyed. Really recommend this place. Next time Im in Amsterdam I will come here again.Hands down one of the best places in Amsterdam to go for a drink.

One of the best absinthe cocktails Ive ever had. Super relaxed atmosphere and very knowledgeable barkeeper. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to try a cocktail that is very well prepared. But make sure youre not in a hurry, as certain cocktails need some time to be prepared and are most certainly worth the wait.

Hidden gem in the vicinity of the Leidseplein. If you think of a classy cocktailbar, this is it! The cocktialmenu is very extensive, even hard to choose from. But the skilled and nice staff can help you make a decision. Try their snacks and bites with your cocktail, its really great. Do take care that it can be busy, so be on time.

The place has an anonymous entrance, so its easy to walk past. The drinks are amazing, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. I would definitely visit this place at my stay in Amsterdam

Very nice bar and very nicely made cocktail they have. Not too packed at around midnight. The bartender and server were friendly. They have some interesting and beautiful cocktails so it would be good to look through the menu to find something new to try. It costs around 13€ to 15€ per cocktail.

A hidden treasure around the corner of busy leidsplein. Very intimate ambience accompanied by the good tunes. you feel relaxed once you enter. Tried the signature cocktail, very good.
