Everything is good except room are quite old, and breakfast is limitedOther things are good especially Mr. Jody in reception, he is a mice guy and was very friendly
Old style bathroom but very big room
Rooms are big, but the bathroom is very old and small. There is no restaurant service, all the weekdays.
Nice rooms with a view on the Rhine. Sad that both shower gel and shampoo were empty. Not something you want to report to the reception while under the shower. Also theres a kettle with tea and coffee but there was only decaf available. Really, NH?
Thank you for the hospitality I have stay in hotel ten days and everything was perfect especially the manager Monique Halma and the girls in reception was almost helpful and kind to me . They clean every day everything in my room . I suggest this hotel and wish come back ….
This was the 26year staying here the staff Vincent,Daphne and Manager Monique treated us like VIPs. comfortable peaceful stay will be back next year Highley recommend a visit.
Good freindly and efficient staff. Roooms spacious and comfortable.Be aware the Resteraunt is vcurrently not Open on Monday and Tues evenings. Perhaps also on the weekend, check with the hotel, as it is a little out of the central area.
#LetsGuide yes a normal hotel but something was fibrating here as if there is a complete secret industry around it. Made by Dutch living in others body
A luxury hotel with an exterior view of the expanse of the beach , with fine white sand on the bay of the Reihn river .The rooms are very clean and the restaurant in a good standard , offers it the status of catering to surprising delights and thus pays a continual tribute to all customers to take breakfast free of charge in the hotel .The staff is very pleasant .
This is a four-star hotel! Its outrageous that the room is visually poor compared to the photos shown on their website not to mention their internet can only be used for minimal purposes such as email. Do we really need to pay 9 euros for enhanced wifi?? Not to mention the wifi is regulated for limited devices. Moreover, the lighting in the room is terrible we mainly have to rely on a table lamp as the most vital light source
Bit dated on outside but still the quality inside you expect from NH hotels
Beautiful view , cozy place. Very kind woman staff in the lobby.
The bathroom was so small, no bath cabinets (only a tiny bathtub and the drainage was smelling so badly, I have a strong smell receptor hence It was impossible for me to avoid this, rooms look like built in 70s, access was horrible (had to walk down a very narrow staircase with luggage), no coffee machines .
Pros of the hotel are definitely the location at the river with a nice view and the friendly staff. There is free parking and city center is in walking distance.Breakfast is also good. Though I wished to see some (morelocal products / specialities.Cons are the rooms including the bathrooms. They are clean so far. But they definitely need a refurbishment. They look a bit run down and the interiors look quite a "retro look".
Very nice hotel.15 minutes walk from town center
Nice place to stay.Really nice view on the Rijn .Service was excellent .The rooms on my opinion need an update.
Great service and view, will miss this place and staffs after leaving. Comfortable bed and great breakfast and dinner!!!!!!5 Star!!!!!
It is what it is, a cheap hotel for travelling sales people. The room I had was perfectly OK, but looked like it was made in the 90s with the only update was a new TV.What Im saying is, its not luxury.Did have a bath, which I enjoyed. Could never be considered big enough for two.The WiFi was free and at a decent speed.Did not hear other guests. The bed and pillow was quite comfy and I slept well.Make sure you join the membership scheme before buying, saves you money.
The wifi is beyond bad. Even the "enhanced" connection. 2mbps in 2021.. come on. The night lights are just for show. Tried turning them on, they are not connected to anything. There is no outlets by the bed, couldnt help but laugh. :Only pro is nice water view in the back and maybe nice staff but your experience may vary. :Only stayed for 1 night.
Hotel in a wonderful location outside Arnhem directly on the Rhine. Lockable bicycle parking.Breakfast only average (perhaps due to COVID).
Staff was friendly. Parking near by and very convenient. Safe place to store our bikes. Rooms were dated and cleanliness could be improved.
No very happy,I asked for a lunch to be taken at 6:30 am and according to my wishes which is normal, I am told at the beginning agreed then they call me to tell me again no it is not possible that breakfast is served from 7am, but here for a 4 star hotel no flexibility, I understand that there is covid but a hotel of this standard was not able to adapt too bad...
"The man blesses the place" (Romanian proverb)NH Arnhem Rijnhotel is a very nice place with very nice and friendly people. Congratulations to the manager and the whole team! 💕
Free upgrade to superior room. Awesome view over the river and the town. Very comfortable bed. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Extra pillows, nice breakfast served with a smile. And as a cherry on the cake two very friendly staff members helped dig out our car and push us on our way after a heavy snowstorm. They go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Thank you! We will be back
I stayed at the hotel 2 weeks for work. I had a fantastic experience during my stay. The rooms were clean, the service was wonderful, and the overall experience I had was amazing. The staff are very professional, friendly, and attentive. Daphne Van de Haar was one of the staff there who went above and and beyond to provide the best service. In short, the hotel and the staff are fantastic. If you are looking to stay at a hotel in Arnhem, this would be the place to book your stay.
Overall a good stay, incredible food, however the furniture and setup is a little dated now. Could do with a modern updated. It would be nice to have dedicated USB ports in the plugs. all in all good, would stay here again
I had a great stay. Room pleasant , clean with lovely views.Breakfast was very nice. Staff was great. also posted my jacket back which i stupidly left behind with minimum fuss. All in all a very memorable and enjoyable stay. Thank you
I have been to this hotel a few times, it is really comfy, the rooms are a good size with a decent size bath/shower room, there are enough towels all of which are white and soft, also there is plenty of hanging space and lots of draws. Coffee and tea facilities are in the room as well as a mini bar and lots of pickie bits, if you get the chance to go to Arnhem give this hotel a try
I stayed in the hotel with my team. The hotel itself was nice and in a good condition. Food at the hotel was very good and they had multiple options. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a nice view to the river behind the hotel. Customer service was beyond than good. Especially the hotels receptionist Monique helped me a ton. I left some of my belongings to the hotel when we left. She did a huge job to track them down and send them back to me. My rating for the hotel and experience would be 6/5, it would be possible. Definitely would recommend this hotel to everyone.
From the outside you don’t see the unique selling point of this hotel: the breath-taking river view from all (meetingrooms, the restaurant and the bar. We stayed in this hotel with 45 guests for our bi-annual sales meeting. We had a wonderful buffet dinner, spent a comfortable night, enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet and had good meeting sessions in the meeting rooms. We had a few minor remarks about the bar staff in the evening, these comments were taken very seriously, but apart from that there was a lot of attention for our guests. Very good value for money!
My Wife and I spent a weekend in the Hotel Rijn to celebrate our wedding Anniversary. The staff were amazing, adding lots of little extras to mark the occasion, which we will never forget and were extremely grateful for. All of the Hotel staff, from Monique, to the staff on the desk, the Chefs and the Ladies who provided a fantastic service in the Restaurant, were wonderful and always greeted everyone with a smile. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who is thinking of staying in Arnhem, where it is ideally situated. Thank you to all of the Hotel staff for making our stay such a memorable one and we shall see you again soon.
We arrived at the Rijn Hotel with a group of 41 people for an educational visit with 27 Teenagers and 14 Adults. Overall the Hotel staff could not have been more accommodating, they were always pleasant and helpful making all people within our group feel extremely welcome and as the group lead, that made life just that little bit easier. All people from our group acknowledged that they had thoroughly enjoyed their stay, with good accommodation, good food (They particularly enjoyed the Breakfast). they also enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the service that the staff provided particularly, the young people who waited on for the group each meal time in the Restaurant. We also ordered packed lunches for each day, which were of a good quality. the Hotel is well situated between Arnhem and Oosterbeek which worked well for our group. With good parking either side of the Road outside of the Hotel, but be aware of the rush hour traffic, both during the morning and the early evening, as it does get busy with commuters. It is also a good idea if you can plan your route for the next days driving , so that you park your car enabling you to pull out into the flow of traffic, rather than cutting across it. The walk along the River, which takes you into Arnhem and the cafes and bars that line the water front, is particularly enjoyable in the Spring and Summer and takes around 15 minutes. There is also a local Spar shop within easy walking distance, should you require anything that cannot be provided in the Hotel. Overall, a nice Hotel with great friendly staff, who went that extra mile to make our stay an enjoyable one.
We travelled here for ARNHEM CADET with cadets and it was very good service whenever I entered the lobby I was greeted by the staff also the rooms were constantly cleaned and made regularly they were excellent accommodations and are really good looking with a great view of the Rhine the food was really good and the breakfast buffet was the best. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Arnhem 🙂
While you would think it would be a hotel with a great view and equal service, they dont have both. We got a room facing a brick wall. The room has poor lighting, is dusty, contains hairs in the shower. The restaurant is run by a fourteen and sixteen years old. Both dont really look like they wanted to be there. We had to take stuff on our own (menu card), because the place was also understaffed. Being annoyed already, we left the restaurant to get something better in the city center. Best decision ever, as we are now enjoying some nice bread, beer and whatever.
The NH Arnhem Rijnhotel has an extraordinary restaurant overlooking the river Rhine. Beautiful views at daytime, enchanted views during dusk and dawn. Please like this review if useful. Thank you.
Room was OK. Comfortable bed but very basic bathroom. Breakfast was top, among the best Ive ever seen. Dinner was good but menu was very limited.
The Sleepingroom is big and the view to the river is nice. Also the noise level is very low. The Breakfest ist good and you can choose from different types of local cheese, sausage typical hot cheese sandwiches and fruits. The different types of fresh coffe from the machine is very good. But the window is not really close thats result in cold room after the heating goes down. Furthermore the bath is very tiny and old.
Good location and very friendly, helpful staff. And the food at the restaurant was pretty good too!The biggest complaint I have though is bathroom. I stayed at the end of November, and bathroom had no source of heating at all - so it was extremely cold! The ventilation didnt seem to be very well sealed, so cold air was seeping in.And there were no door or curtain in shower, so the water splashes into bathroom when taking shower.Besides that, plenty of space in the room for luggage and your belongings, cozy and comfortable interior.
Great hotel. It has a very pretty location right off the river. The rooms are nice and clean. Its a little far of a walk (about a mile or soto get to any restaurants. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
Excellent StayHotel Reception team Melanie and Dionne were fantastic. We were able to leave our bags for a few hours after checking out to explore more of the city.Paid extra £10 to upgrade to a river view room and it was beautiful and worth it. Nice and clean. Only would say the lighting in the bathroom isnt very good in 506.Ate in the restaurant from the a la carte menu. Husband had the steak (rareand I had the salmon curry. Followed by banana split and the kalamansi (citrustarte. All lovely. Staff in the restaurant nice and had the same young gentleman this morning who again is very professional and friendly.
The WiFi is a bit temperamental and took me a bit to get all my devices on. The rooms are modern with good air conditioning. Bathrooms are cosy but adequate. Restaurant is quite pricey, and for what you get represent poor value for money.
NH Arnhem Rijnhotel was OK. The good bits: the breakfast and view from my room was amazing. The not so good bits... the free WiFi (which was supposed to be good for emailscouldnt cope with emails when it was stated to be able to cope with emails. The room was very dark and there was four lamps in the room that didnt provide sufficient light to be able to read without straining my eyes let alone cross stitch
We had a great stay. The bathroom is a little outdated but clean and in fine condition. Great view, although I think the "upgrade" we got was a trick to make us feel special, as all the rooms seem to have a view.
Great little find. Reception staff spoke great English and were very helpful. Room was nice and clean and the beds decent. Free parking right outsides useful too. As other reviews have said its not the biggest bathroom but for the price you are paying its spot on. We faced the river and it was both quiet and had a nice view. Thank you.
Nice views from the room and very good buffet breakfast but there was a problem with the air conditioning and the room was very hot. Wifi wasnt working in the room and there was a strong smell coming out of the bathroom. The hotel is a bit far from the centre as well.
The NH Arnhem Rijnhotel has been a lovely time for our stay in Arnhem. The rooms were perfectly comfortable and well decorated. The food was incredibly delicious and the overall service was excellent. I would certainly stay there again in the future and would recommend it to anyone visiting Arnhem!
Rooms were excellent and we were welcomed with a free upgrade to our room. Did not have dinner in the restaurant, but breakfast was good. The room was very clean and the bed made nicely. Bathroom wasnt too big, but all the necessities were present. Literally the only downside were the parking spaces, these were very limited and when we came back to the hotel late at night, we had to park further away in unmonitored parking spaces.
Excellent hotel, stayed for a couple of nights for my birthday courtesy of my wife, to allow me to visit all the WW2 spots which is a bit of a hobby.Nice hotel, well priced and convenient.Room was clean and comfortable and overlooking the river. Only had breakfast in the hotel but no complaints.Would stay there again no problem.
Good hotel with friendly staff. Its close to a bus station, so its quick to get around. I stayed in room 317 which has direct access to a semi-private balcony that has amazing views of the river and of the city. The bathroom is very nice, and has a few amenities like a good blow dryer stocked.
I was there on the weekend and it was really nice. I had a room with balcony and the sight out of the window was amazing. The room (2 personswas not too small. Everything was clean and I can not find a negative thing about this hotel.I will come again!
