Amazing how much of Mongolia we experienced in 10 days with just enough “down time” to stay rested. The stoic but very kind people of Mongolia will quickly win your heart. We had an expert driver and a great translator/guide. The stars over the Gobi Desert are beyond description. The experience in the wilds of Mongolia is not fake. If you expect a feather bed and mommy’s cooking, go to your local campground. If you want a real adventure, check out Mongolia and New Milestones will take good care of you.

We had a very good experience with new mile stone. The people where very friendly in helping us to choose our trip. During our tours we had very nice guides and drivers. They took really good care of us. The families we visited were very friendly and they gave us a real good impression of the nomadic life in Mongolia.

I spent one month with various families, shared meals, learned about their culture and experienced how its like to live the nomadic life style.They are aware of the need to create a sustainable way to develop tourism in Mongolia without interfering with their way of life. Incredible! As the agent of a professional photographer, I had to prepare a one month travel agenda were she could really get involved in the everyday life of the nomadic people. Our experience with New Milestone couldn’t be better. Their work philosophy is strongly engaged with maintaining the environment and the current Mongolian culture. Mongolian families embraced the photographer as one of them, and New Milestone made every step easy and possible. They were extremely responsive, easy to work with, efficient and very nice.

A very well planned and organised tour. We visited the awe inspiring Chinggis Khan equestrian statue, various types of gers, stayed overnight in a ger at the Red Rock resort in the stunning countryside, climbed turtle rock, visited the nearby meditation monastery and then trekked on a Mongolian horse - all in just 2 days. Adiyabold had a great knowledge of Mongolian history as well as the recent social and political changes in Mongolia over the last century - his strong English made it fascinating.

New Milestone Tours hit it out of the part with us on the Winter Eagle Festival in Ulaanbaatra

Through New Milestone Tours I attended the to the Ulaanbaatar Spring Golden Eagle Festival held at the Chingisiin Khuree Camp just outside of Ulaanbaatar March 5, 2018. Kazakh hunters from Western Mongolia competed to show off whose eagle was the most skilled following the command of their trainers. There was horseback archery completion where 3 or 4 closely packed riders simultaneously shoot arrows at a target as they flew by on their horses at full gallop. There was tug of war on horseback in the snow. There were also plenty of opportunities to mingle with the animals and competitors, including Aisholpan. In summary, it was an amazing display of old world skills with animals that are lost in the much of the world today. Wonderful experience, highly recommended.
