My Ribeira Guest House in São Pedro da Cova

Very hard to find due to construction. No television desk area or heat in very tiny clean room with lots of road noise. When I complained the front desk man very politely said. Look at the pictures online- nothing different! And then walked away.

Das einzige was auszusetzen ist, ist die Lautstärke durch den Verkehr (Lage direkt an der Straße). Sonst alles Tiptop. Sehr freundlich, lecker sauber und gepflegt.

Toller Aufenthalt und Service, leckeres FrühstückDirekt an einer befahrenen Straße vor einem Tunnel (Sirenen werden verstärkt), daher morgens etwas laut für jmd den es stört. Sonst super 🤗

Fabulous find! Friendly, clean and well located for sightseeing and nightlife. (It can be a little noisy over the weekend but complimentary earplugs and window shutters help keep out noise.Would recommend!

Abbiamo scelto la struttura per lottimo rapporto prezzo/ubicazione. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, lappartamento è davvero bello e curato, pulito, servizio di pulizia e cambio asciugamani giornaliero, colazione inclusa, possibilità di lasciare i bagagli fino alle 16.00. La zona è comodissima e tornerei ad alloggiarci senza dubbio!Purtroppo la nota negativa è la rumorosità, dovrebbero provvedere a dei serramenti più prestanti perchè le camere danno su una strada molto trafficata e anche dalle scale si sente parecchio rumore se gli altri ospiti non sono civili ed educati e durante la notte rientrano in camera con qualche bicchiere di Porto in corpo!

Está bien hasta que tienes que subir a la habitación...NO HAY ASCENSOR. y la mia era un cuarto piso...Después es imposible dormir por el ruido del tráfico. Han olvidado poner cristales insonorizados, pero te dan tapones para el cabreo.Todo esto a precio top...

Traveling alone makes this Hotel perfect for me, cozy, well located, secure, calm, staff is kind, attentive and helpful, Hotel rooms are small but have the perfect distribution, lots of windows, well ventilated and totally dark at night. You can hear some traffic noise but not crazy, I wear sleeping plugs everywhere so that wasn’t a problem for me.Breakfast is the cutest and most delicious I ever had while in a guest house. The location is outstanding, I walked to all the attractions and restaurants from here and it work perfectly. I will recommend this place to everyone who decides to come to Porto. Amazing experience!

Ficámos 2 noites e gostámos muito!Boa localização, staff muito simpático e muito prestável.Os quartos estão bem decorados e são muito confortáveis.Muito bom pequeno almoço5 estrelas. Altamente recomendável!

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Porto. Très bonne organisation pour une arrivée en dehors des heures douverture de la réception. Très propre. Situé à 10 mètres dun spare, utile pour les petits achats. Et tout près des petites rues où de nombreux restaurants proposent des plats très sympas.

Sehr schönes Gästehaus, Zimmer ausgesprochen sauber. Lage ganz zentral in Ribeira, etwas laut. Altstadt in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, ebenso den Cais de Ribeira und die Brücke Pont Luis. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Terrible customer service. Cannot comment on our stay as it never happened due to the pandemic. The hotel took our money and never issued any refund. Unprofessional and uncaring hotel management who have intentionally ignored our requests to receive our money back. Perhaps if we were locals we would be treated differently. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere when visiting Porto.

Our favourite and sadly last stay on our trip, would go back in a heartbeat! The room, the staff and coffee were all so lovely. The downside for some, traffic (honkingnoise but we got used to it.

My Ribeira Guest House was my first choice for a stay. However, I tried to book the hotel once and was told my credit card was invalid and the reservation cancelled. So, I tried again and was once again told my credit card was invalid and the reservation would be cancelled.A week later, My Ribeira Guest House managed to *actually* charge my card for a night I didnt use.Throughout the entire process, they were INCREDIBLY unresponsive, not responding to any of my emails.

Excellent central location, beautiful, clean and stylish apartment - was just perfect for our short visit to Porto. The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful, taking plenty of time to make recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants etc. Fab spot, would stay again. Obrigada!

Great location, right in the city center, good (fishrestaurants close by. And close to a lot of top sightseeing and shopping street.The apartment is located on walking distance to the best area of the boulevard next to river.Theres a supermarket next to the entrance, where you can buy coffee and sandwiches or empanadas as well (love it).

Great hotel in a superb location. Staff are so friendly and helpful and as it was our first trip to Porto the receptionist sat us down with a map and a glass of port and pointed out the sights of Port. We had a beautiful, spacious room and breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend this great hotel.

Very friendly, very central

when the cars coming out from the tunnel stopped honking, this place wa truly all I could have wished for. TV-less rooms with a vintage turntable and books. Adorable. Dont forget to pick your vintage vinyl records on floor 1!

My Ribieras location near the river, zee wAwzwqwEZwqdw serves wzz betwqxween downtown and the bridge over the Doura river gave me ready walking access to much of Porto. But what really gave access to Portos delights was the patient help the staff gave me... they took the time to figure out what i was really interested in, and gave me some historical background on this fascinating city in a fascinating country. Q

Location!!! In Ribeira. Comfortable. Kitchenette. Clean. Noisy tunnel traffic should disappear in 2020. Great staff!

Rooms are simple but nice. Owner is very helpful. Ive read other reviews about street noise and while you can hear it in the rooms it didnt bother me (and Im a light sleeper)- at least that is until the last night (FC Porto won the national championship, people were honking their horns until 2 am- but Im not sure anywhere in Ribeira would have been any quieter then!I didnt eat breakfast but others in our group did and said it was very good, however since breakfast costs €10 Id rather go to a local bakery and get 2 pastries for about €2.My only complaint is the shower/bathroom- if the lights in the bedroom arent on, the bathroom is pretty dark, also the temperature on our shower (room 4was difficult. It would often change back and forth between really hot and cold, and the 2nd person to shower often didnt have hot water. The other half of our party staying in room 1 and didnt have any problems.The location is great, so many restaurants and wine bars in the area! No elevator but I didnt mind walking up the stairs. Request a 1st or 2nd floor room if youd prefer to not have to do too many flights. Id definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed there for one night in February. Very comfortable. Very charming place. The place was nice and cozy. It was very cold outside and drizzling, it was great to check in and take a nice warm shower, then cozy up in the bed. Breakfast was 10 Euros and it was delicious. Very chic and beautiful design. I would stay there again. We loved it!Things to note: If you are driving, there is no parking on the hotel premises, you have to park at the public parking structure under the park in the next block (aprox. 25 Euros overnight). There is no elevator so if you have heavy bags or dont want to climb up several flights of stairs, this is not for you. Also this is located almost at the mouth of the tunnel. Because we went in the winter, there wasnt a lot of traffic noise. But maybe its a different story in the summer.

Perfect accommodation. Low key but clean and beautiful balcony. The location is perfect - youre right by tourist spots and a block away from the river and walking distance to cross the river...the hotel staff is so sweet. We didnt buy breakfast just because we wanted to go out and fend for our own, but the hotel is great. No elevator, but if youre up for the walk, the higher levels have really cute views. We were 4th floor, #8, and had a long balcony and lots of windows. Highly recommend! No spa or anything, but if you want that, go to port country and check out Douro.

Super location, employees and facilities!

Cute place but very few mod cons. Small room, no closet. No lift, only stairs. The better your view is, the higher the floor, the more painful the climb. We were on the 4th floor and our view was just ok.Very noisy with all the Ribiera pedestrian and vehicle traffic. This hotel is just at the mouth of a tunnel. If only another block or two over, it may be better.The room is charming but small. Many of the little charming offers dont actually work - like the record player. Cute, but didnt work. No TV or radio in the room either. Couldnt even open all the curtains.The staff were extremely nice, and the coffee in the lobby was the best I had in Porto!

Very good service and nice people, room was nice and tidy. You have to take a stairs to enter your room, there is no elevator available. The rooms are a bit noisy, but the location and room are worth it.

We were a big group arriving quite late, and everything went quickly and smoothly. The rooms were immaculate and very modern. The location is right in the heart of the old city with tons of places to eat, drink, and shop. Breakfast was free and amazing and check-out was just as quick and painless as check-in. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
