Muzeu Palatul Parlamentului - Museum in Slobozia, Romania
The size of the building is breathtaking. We didnt had time for a tour but just looking at it from outside makes you wonder the effort the people put in that troubled days.
i hear is wanderfull but now its close !!!the work to renew around
If you visit Romania, you have to go to the Palace of Parliament Museum, it is a great place to visit. Note that the Palace of Parliament has about three different gates, however one of the gate is the one in which tourists are granted access to the building. You may wish to note that the building is in Bucharest. Although my visit was on official assignment kindly find out the date that tourists are allowed into the building.
Amazing architecture, amazing history, a must see in bucharest
🏛️ The Palace of Parliament truly deserves its name. It is the second biggest administrative buildings in the world (after The Pentagon). And naturally the biggest in Europe.👮♀️👮♂️ Sadly, it was closed for visitors during our visit. Maybe next time!
So very impressiveHugeGreat tour
Great architectural design and construction. It is fascinating 👌
The tickets are not expensive and it is worth it.
Great Experience, a building with a lot of history. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the tour goes at a decent pace. Sign up the day before to not be disappointed.
I dont reduse I visited this monumental place its amazing
Enormous palace wit many stories that remain untold and most of it also remains unseen!
Extremely beautiful and very very large building. Amazing how they keep the building cool in such high temperatures without air conditioning. This is a must see during your visit to Bucharest.***IMPORTANT MUST KNOW***Foreign tourist be sure to bring your actual passport or you will not be able to enter the building for the tour.
Fascinating.Amazing rooms & halls. One of the faciest parliaments Ive ever seen.
Stunning place! Even though you get to see around 5-7% of it in an hour and a half, you will be amazed of its interiors! Its like a true palace! And the view of Bucharest from the balcony is breathtaking! Dont hesitate to visit it! Dont forget to book your appointment prior to your visit and have your passport or ID with you
Really interesting piece of history. Stunning in all dimensions, even if somewhat tragic as well. Just go.Guided tour is a must, but its quite good and though the group seems big, it frankly doesnt matter in the spacious rooms of the Palace.
Very expensive for something that is not such a great site seeing.
No restroom access while waiting, no access to any kind of water or liquids to purchase, very nice personnel but big lack of basic human needs. Lotta service improvements needed.
Great place. Recommended to see.
Great tour. Building is amazing!
great building
Necessary to see for those who would like to know more about communism in Romania.
Very spectacular. A must visit when in Bucharest. Very informative guide and well organized. The palace is huge, we barely saw 3-5% from it durning the tour. It takes about an hour to finish. Call in advance to book your spot.
Beautiful interiors, interesting history and extraordinary size. Worth visiting when in Bucharest.
Went with Tauck Tours. Amazing building. Full of marble, lovely wooden inlays and beautiful spaces. It is all Romanian products.
Great tour of the Parliament building. Our guide was knowledgeable and really funny. Top top: the booking system is bizarre. Youll need to ring at 9am on the dot to get a space for the following day. You cant just turn up and remember to bring your passport. Also the entrance is to the right near the park and round the back of the building.
Place to see in bucharest! Definitely amazing place. Guided tours are cheap and well guided
Lavish palace, amazing decorations. Its a shame they dont really use it for anything and its just for tours!
Tickets were €8 and tour was approximately an hour. There was way too many people for 1 tour guide and I couldnt hear what he was saying.
Nothing much to say just thay the musuem is great and the tour explains everything about the building and the staff are very friendly
I like the architecture of parlament 🎆
Really interesting place. Everything including the guide, the burocracy from the entrance, All is still comunist. I am not sure if they do it on purpose, but it works 😉
Totally recommend visiting this magnificent well made place!
The parlament guide lady is amazing, we are grateful she can share all her knowledge with us. A memorable experience without any doubt! Thanks
Impressive!
Toured only hallways. Not impressed. Dont waste your time.
It was a pleasant surprise. A 100% romanian achievement!
Walked all the way here.No passport or State ID, No entrance!
Opulence upon opulence. Unbelievable size. Tour guide spoke excellent English. Strict security to get in.
Last time we came to Romania and wanted to visit we didnt have our passports with us (driving license is not considered an IDnow we were able to finally visit this museum which covers only 2% of the actual building. There is no shop in the museum so if you have little ones bring some snacks and water along. There is a restroom break half way into the tour no restroom whilst waiting for the tour. Organisation was great, booking in advance (24 hours beforerecommended. Tour could be enhanced 😉 but overall worth the experience.
Unique place - outside and inside!700 hundreds architects work in this amazing project. You need reservation before visit!
Incredible building to see in person. You unfortunately need reservations to tour the inside which we didn’t get to do, but we’re excited to come back someday
Must see in Bucharest. The organisation could be better.
Dont forget to bring your passport and reserve before going there
Great experience and visit to see an important place
Unorganized and under-qualified staff. The tour guid was not very educated and had only basic information. You should see this building for the general knowledge purpose, but don’t expect much.
Terrible experienceNo indication for tourists at all, you have to find where to enter and by your tickets by yourself because no security guards will help you. We had to walk 30 minutes to get to the other side of the building ( that is HUGE because no indications were present. When we got inside to buy tickets we have been told that the next visiting entrance would be in a hour. Whit no mention of programmed entrance mentioned on the website. No need to say that we left without visiting. Bye bye.
Very good place, nice tour quide. You have to come here when Bucharest!
Trip takes approx 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cost 40 Lei. It is not necessary to book it earlier. No place to leave jackets or luggage. Interesting guided tour. Worth visiting.
Just massive. Bucharest doesnt have a huge number of things to do for tourists, and this is very much a must see. You get to see a decent amount of the building which is rather more tastefully done than I expected. The interiors are really interesting, and the guide assigned to our group did a good job of explaining. I got the impression he was working off a script that included a few jokes, but he didnt seem to understand and his delivery was so deadpan it made them even more funny. Highly recommended
A fine building. Once a palace, today the Parliament of Romania. One of the largest buildings in Europe. It is luxurious and the walls are decorated with marble. Its a fine site that you must not miss if you visit Bucharest.
