Attraction featuring various optical illusion exhibits & a "smart playroom" with games & puzzles.
Two floors of objects and experiments on illusions. 1 hour should be more than sufficient for this place.Kids below 10 might enjoyEntry fee is just too high for the experience
Fun museum for kids and adults. Interactive exhibits over two floors.
Very interesting , amusing , got me laughing , stuff very polite and helpful . Only thing missing are some mini cams with wide lens that could be used to make great pictures , without having to wait for people finding out what to do, where to stand to make a good one . So visitors can send them to themself over bluettoth , or get selected ones printed , or even get a poster with mix of photoes with ilusions... Any way , nice place to visit , aldo ticket price of 8 euros does not provide enough .
Pretty underwhelming experience.Expected alot more and it was alot smaller than we thought. It was still pretty fun, but you could probably see and do everything in 30 minutes max.Staff was nice and friendly tho
The museum is an awesome place to visit. It is kid friendly and promises a lot of fun and photo options. It has many mind games you can try playing and then you can buy mini versions of them in the shop. I strongly recommend visiting.
Very child friendly, which is great when you have them. Would not recommend without children, since it will be filled with them. Games are nice but for children, very few actual illusions.
Not much to see, small museum with very few attractions, on weekend its s crowdy so you cant really take pictures the way you supposed to (color room, head on table...But you still cant go alone, cose maybe youll have opportunity to photo everywhere and everything and you need a friend to have fun with taking pictures. Cute souvenir shop.
The museum is a lot of fun!We had a really great time together and took awesome pictures.See for yourself😄
Okay for 30 minutes, fun to see once. But once is really enough
It typically takes around 45 minutes to visit this museum. Thats the maximum I would say. The museum is not that big. Its good for just a visit. Also, there were queues to enter and I didnt find it worth waiting. In case, If couldnt go inside it for some reason trust me you are not missing something. The three stars are for the hospitality of the crew.
Its only worth going if you have kids. If you expect to see cool illusions and learning the theory behind it, then it might fall short of your expectations. The museum is pretty much a playground for kids and its relatively small.
Cool place to enjoy, to see sth new and break the boredom. It was cool also for my younger sister as it was to my older boyfriend :And super nice location for the Museum!
A completly diffeerent experience în visiting a museum. Must see if you are în Zagreb or Zadar. A little crowded when we were in musseum, but worth the waiting. Great suvenir shop with lots of interesting games to buy.
A fairly small museum but theyve packed a lot in! It was fairly busy as its school holidays but we still managed to have a go at everything no problem. They offer a student discount as well. Also theres a section where you can try out different puzzles they have to offer which was a fun break from illusions
We stumbled upon this museum by serendipity and we were curious about the name. Even though it’s not too large, we wound up spending a lot of time inside because we were enjoying it so much. All the exhibits are very clever and interactive for all ages, as well as explained in various languages. All the young people who work in there were also very helpful and pleasant. Great find, not to be missed! 👍🏻👌🏻📷
We had to wait more than 30 minutes to go inside... Some experiences were cool, but I guess you can skip it, maybe for children its more fun.
Immensely disappointing, I queued for 55 minutes with my partner to access. Had booked tickets via TripAdvisor prior (Makes no difference having tickets, so no need). We were inside the "Museum" for all of 15 minutes before we were overcome with boredom and disappointment. Boosting a whole 2 floors, 1 of which is taken up mostly by the Gift Shop & Bathroom. To say I felt like I wasted 75 minutes of my life was an understatement. If you have children aged 3-15 then 100% this is right up your street, if however you are a couple or anything in-between I would avoid due to it being aimed at children.Photos of the "Museum" make it look better than what it is trust me. Unfortunately a massive let down.
It is funny no question but a little bit small for the price. I ve seen people rushing through the museum and not really trying to understand whats going on here and there. Some "riddles" are hard to solve and take some time. But anyway it is a good museum.
Not enough games and rooms considering that this is really fun! Great for families.
Interesting place. Detailed descriptions explaining each exhibit (illusions). The main downside is the size of the space. Although the museum is still worth recommending
Small museum, you get through it quickly. Staff were hovering around cleaning everything and kind of got in the way, though I do appreciate the attention to cleanliness. Probably more suited to kids.
Disappointed. Highly overrated. Small place and the lights were broken. Some of the exhibitions are worn down or just impossible to read as the signs are placed kids height or too high up. Speaking of kids, it’s good for kids.
Cute little museum with couple of great photo opportunities. It was maybe too small for the price. Staff was super friendly.
Very intresting and fun. Both adults and kids can have a great time in there. You can spend houres watching and figuring out how the amazing illusions work.
Fairly small museum but lots of fun! Takes about 1-1.5 hours depending on how busy it is. Be sure to have a third person with you to make pictures! All illusions have a description in multiple languages, so its easy to understand and try. They also have lots of wooden puzzles around the museum you can try to solve. They also sell these puzzles in the shop. Good fun for families. Ticket price is okay, not cheap but also not too expensive.
Some great pieces to be seen, some puzzles to try. Worth going to see, especially if u want to keep the kids entertained. Its only cheap so give it a go
Museum of Illusions might be small in comparios to most of the museums, but it has a big entertaining heart. You will definitely spend quality time discovering many of the optical illusions this museum has to offer. Like a little child. And thats a plus in my book!
Amazing experience. Got lots of fun pictures and videos you show friends. Kids had such a great time. Good air conditioning so was a respite from hot temperature outside. Definitely recommended
A bit small but you can still make a lot of cool pics
Was so nice to be there, I had been in the illusion museum in Zurich and the experience was very similar and completely good, the price is really cheap, and the staff were really nice with us, so if you come to Zagreb I recommend to visit that museum! The only thing that I didn’t like was the noise because was to full of people, there were a lot of kids screaming and hitting things
Very enjoyable experience for kids and adults. The staff was friendly explaining how the illusions work and they can assist with taking photos if you really need to. There are not too many illusions like other similar places but enough to keep you occupied for 30 to 60 minutes. Plan your visit either by transport or a taxi as there is no parking space around, at least the time we were there.
Small but big. My kid loved it, we had a great time here. Doesnt take much time to go around.
Very interesting - for scholl kids expecially.
small museums but you can spend hours here- i most certainly did. lots of great photo opportunities and great for people of all ages.there’s several puzzles on the second floor (I tried all of them, I couldn’t solve one 😂and they are all available in the shop if you want to try them out at home! it’s pretty educational and so much fun. it’s a bit of a walk from the main square but I absolutely recommend it! 💡
This was my first visit to Muzej Ilusija (Musium of Illusions with my family. It is very little to say that we were very exciting. It was very crowded. We had to wait for about 30 minutes to get inside due to Covid-19 measures. For tourist standards prices are normal. But for the domestic customers I would say they are maybe a little bit too high. There are a lots of things to see. Watching all those kids running and laughing you see how much they enjoy being there. And that is the point. There are many interesting things to see and what I love the most is description on everything explaining the illusion you are seeing. So, this is definitly some to go and see while visiting Zagreb.
Fun place to spend 1 and a half hour ; interactive and entertaining activities ; make sure you take a lot of photos
We were visiting from the States and scheduled to go ice skating with friends, but it was too crowded, so we decided to check out the Museum of Illusions! This was a great interactive exhibit for families, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!
The museum is pretty small, but that was good because we were in kind of a rush. The exhibition was really fun and the museum staff were extremely friendly - they offered to take photos of us at the most interesting parts and they also suggested some photo ideas. A cool experience! :)
It’s a very interesting place to visit if you are in Zagreb and need some time for the laughter, control your mind and use brain.
A small, but cool museum, definitely worth a visit if you’re in Zagreb
Great place to spend some time in Zagreb city center. Not to big but with plenty interesting exhibits that will keep you and your kids amused. Decent souvenir shop and friendly young staff are a bonus.
Great experience and great staff, very helpful and very cheerful. Always there to explain and help to enjoy the museum exhibits. The exhibits are great and very interesting. There are so many mind bending things that will make you think long and hard, there are puzzles and various tricks. It is very kid friendly and I strongly suggest bringing them here to stimulate their thinking. There is a souvenir shop where you can buy all these brain teasers.
Fun and intersting for adults and children. Me and my 6 years old child had very good time.The staff is friendly ;!!!It is a small museum.But full of activities that make our mind work (;
Definitely, a really cool museum to visit. Each illusion has a description in more than one language availale, which makes it easier for people to understand and know what to do. Everything is scattered over two floors, having attractions both for kids and grownups alike. Coolest one of all has to be the infinity room! Couldnt wrap my head around it 😍
We had a really great time. Many things and illusions to see. There is also a section with some very tricky puzzles to solve - that took us quite some time 😂 I think its really great to include in the itenerary as the museum s great and also its location is right in the center. Loved it ❤️
Been there for more than 5 times in last 3 years, taking my students or daughter. Children always love it. Its a small museum, situated on 2 floors. Its not big, around half an hour of your time.
Main thing - I would recommend to visit this place with your soulmate, to have few nice photos together.Small, but interesting place to visit. They have some interesting visual illusions to have fun and take few pictures with your camera. On the second floor youll be able to find few interesting puzzles to test yourself.
I loved the museum, it is very interesting and kind challenging. My favourite is the room of infinity. They accept cards 😊😊The receptionist is very kind warm and welcoming. Kudos lady
First time in this museum I have found it interesting..... some thing we’re not that good or maybe my imagination was poor. The entrance does not cost much is a small place but has enough things to use your imagination and have fun.I recommend to come in a group to have more fun and take the right pictures .... or you will have to ask for someone to help you with the pictures Is important to see the angulation for the pictures.
The Museum of Illusions is a fun, interactive, learning and playing experience the whole family will love. Its a great place for a date or just a stroll through the wonders of perception for the naturally inquisitive individual. You will laugh and enjoy the angles that shape the corners of the human mind, then find amazement in those quadrants of reality which are manipulated by perspective.
