Mutti's German Restaurant in Lawton

Plenty of room for big families. Food was not as good as I thought it would be. The waiter was very friendly. For five of us was just over $100. Probably wont be back, but I think you should try it just once. They did have German beer there.

Talk about asking for an authentic German Experience. This is a must try if you happen to be visiting Lawton. They offer all the staple German foods and makes it feel like you are in Germany. There is wide selection of German beers with the option to have it in a stein. I highly recommend you try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Great staff everyone was friendly beer was amazing and got the grill for two and came with so much tht was filling I definitely recommend and was my first time here

By far the best German restaurant that I have eaten at outside of Germany. The staff is very courteous and the food never disappoints. We make the drive to Lawton just to eat there.

I was a first timer. It was great and Ill go back. I wasnt sure what to order...I got the samplers platter with 5 meats. The coffee cake was light and delicious. Next time Ill get the turtle cheesecake.

This was not just a meal...it was an experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Good food, excellent service, fun ambience. Authentic German all around.

Solid place. Very friendly staff. Schnitzel is good as is the warm potato salad. If you get the pretzel, ignore the cheese they send out with it and, instead, use the mustard on the table. Lots of beers to choose from but all are in bottles/cans. didnt see anything on tap. This is not really a deal breaker as the sheer amount of bottles on the "bar" make up for it. If youre in the area (ft Sill, Mt Scott, etc etc etcyou should stop in. The Bread pudding was pretty good too.

Great German Food, German Beer and good desserts. Tends to get busy on the weekend but has a friendly staff and great atmosphere that makes it worth while. Highly recommended any day of the week.

My family and I traveled to Lawton, Oklahoma for a very special occasion, my niece’s Army Boot Camp graduation. After the ceremony we decided to try something new. My niece’s ROTC Sargent traveled from New Orleans to attend her graduation and since he is German, we decided to honor him by dining at a German restaurant. We Googled and found Mutti’s which had really positive reviews so we decided to check it out. Let me tell you! We had such a good time because we bring joy wherever we go and our joy was reciprocated by the wonderful woman whom I assume is the owner. If she is not the owner, she handled everything like a BOSS!!! She was professional and on her grind but her customer service skills was at 1,000 and she was friendly, hilarious, lovable, and I could go on and on. She even gave me hope about dating and marriage after I decided to never date again. The beauty in this is that she had no idea how our conversation encouraged me. If I’m ever in the Lawton area again, I will definitely visit Mutti’s to eat some good food, tasty dessert, and have a good conversation with that sweet woman whose name I failed to write down so sorry. I may have forgotten her name but she received a really nice and well deserved tip :-)

Great German beer selection available. The owner is amazing and makes the rounds checking on everyone, and everything. Service was quite fast for the crowd size. Everyone in our party of six loved their food. Recommend unconditionally.

Great place. I have never been to Germany but the pictures and cups and memorabilia definitely give it the feel. Very warm and welcoming. Food was great. Fresh bread. First time for schnitzel and that and the rest of the food was great.

Went to Muttis on family day after being in basic for the past 10 weeks, and I have to say that this was one of the best restaurants I have been to in a very long time. The service, atmosphere, and food was phenomenal and I will happily recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to the Lawton/Ft Sill area for your soldiers family day and graduation.

Schnitzel was nice and crispy and held up well to the gravy. It has a really nice atmosphere inside even with its unassuming exterior. Service was very friendly and prompt.

We were traveling and saw this place advertised. Took a chance and it was absolutely fantastic, authentic German food. The schnitzel with parmesan was amazing and loved their home fries. If we ever get this way again, well definitely stop.

This was our second time to Muttis and both times they just knocked it out of the park! Everything we have tried so far has been amazing and big portions, and you should absolutely save room for dessert! The staff are also super friendly and so good with our kids- it can be hard to dine out with young kids, and they make us feel super comfortable. We lived in Germany for 3.5 years, and a lot of their food takes me right back to my time there- its definitely become one of our favorite places to eat in Lawton!

The schnitzel fingers were great... The cheese speatzel wasnt my favorite our waitress was delightful. An Ill go back to try more

A MUST VISIT! If you love top quality authentic German food and/or beer this is your place! The food is the best German food Ive had outside of Germany and the beer is straight from the Deutschland. I love the traditional Schnitzel with lemon drizzled on it with the Home fries(must get). This time I tried the Farmers Schnitzel and it was INCREDIBLE! My wife ordered the Cordon Bleu with Home Fries, she said it was very good. We finished with some delicious warm Apple Strudel topped with Ice cream. The staff is great and the service is as fast as they can get to you. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great food, atmosphere, beer, and/or authentic cuisine.

1st time eating German food...had the Jager Scnitzel....delicious..The apple strudel and ice cream was awesome...waitresses were super helpful and full of life...place was full when we left ...will be back

We go there for our wedding night meal and they take forever. A family of 5 came in after us and order after us, yet they get their food way before us took almost an hour to get our food. Also order an appetizer and never got it. Them took forever to check us out, and was rude to us when checking out but changed attitude after we told them how long we waited and that those 5 people got it food before us.

This place is surreal. The service is great, the food is homemade and the desserts dreamy

Location fits. Considering where it is, not far from Ft Sill, a basic training and artillery training base, where the seasoned soldiers would have spent considerable time in Germany, this place would take them back. Authentic food and beverages.

Lawtons best selection of authentic, high quality German beers to enjoy with a breath of old Bavaria. Great atmosphere. The staff could use a little help when I was last there, but it seemed like something had happened so I hope it was a temporary instance and all is well.

Oh this place is so good!!! My brother loves real German food, and this is his favorite place ever. The Schnitzel is BOMB!!! Beer was cold and delicious!! Finally I have to give it up too the staff, you guys rocked so much! Thank you for such an awesome dining experience.

my family and I come to this restaurant often, usually once a week.we have a favorite server who waits on us regularly, her name is summer. the food has never been short of exceptional, and summer always treats my family and 2 children like we are apart of her family! we love it. have tried every schnitzel they offer and they are all fantastic (though my favorite is the jaeger schnitzel)

Muttis is the best hands down German and authentic German restaurant to eat at,the staff is friendly waitress are there getting your drinks and orders soon as you sit down. If you want real German food come eat here at Muttis you wont be sorry. 😊

First time eating there today! I went with my wonderful wife for the Valentines Day weekend. The decor of the restaurant put a smile on my face the moment I walked in. Its a very nice looking place! The food is incredibly filling,(I had the Farmers Schnitzel). The beer selection is very German, and exceptionally varied. Additionally, the staff is absolutely delightful, and the feeling of this restaurant is completely removed from the Lawton environment. Its a breath of fresh air, and Im thinking about going every weekend. Thank you all for a great evening!

As someone new to this area, I mean it when I say this restaurant is worth travelling for. I have not been to a more authentic German restaurant before, and I have been to many. Immediately, the atmosphere is inviting and fun. Trinkets and decorations line the walls, ceilings, and shelves. German music plays in the background loud enough to hear, but not so loud as to disrupt your meal. There is pretty much any German beer you could ask for from the bottle, served in a frozen mug. My boyfriend and I shared the sampler for two, and it shouldve been advertised as a sampler for four, we were overwhelmed with the food, but in a good way!! We both loved the potato salad. Service is top notch, friendly, and happy to share their food and culture with the guests. Try the desserts, we had the black forest cake which was incredibly light and flavorful. We cant wait to come back and eat our way through the rest of the menu.

Looking for a place to meet friends and eat GOOD German food? Go to Muttis. This is not the place for just a fast meal. Not because service is slow, but because you will want to take your time and savor your food. So come hungry with friends and family, sit and visit while enjoying good freshly made food.

As someone who grew up in Germany, I really appreciate the atmosphere. It reminded me of so many small restaurants. I had their special “The Grille Teller” and loved it. The platter was a combination of different flavors. This would be a great place to visit during Octoberfest. It’s located in the south side of Lawton. Parking is easy. They have a selection of traditional German cakes for dessert which I would recommend trying. Tastes amazing! Great Food and Drink. Huge selection of German Beers

Pretty good authentic german food. Had the Schnitzel Platter for two, enough food for two! The potato salad was really tasty and the Schnitzel and sausages tasted great! The Leberkäse was good also. Had an Apfelstrudel and a blueberry cake for dessert. Not as expensive as other German restaurants in the US.

The food was outstanding.However, we were treated horribly. Meals dropped on the table, server never came back. No drink refills. No checking if we needed anything. Nothing. The servers made eye contact, then turned or looked away. We waited approximately 20 minutes after finishing for our bill. Both servers did apologize with a were so busy. ( 1 large table of ladies in for dessert and coffee and 1 large table of soldiers eating lunchOther than that, my husband and I and another couple. It was 1:30.The server finished with "I said Im sorry. I dont know what else you want". And left.Ill tell you here what I wanted.I wanted a good drink refill. So did my husband. I wanted a side of gravy. We wanted dessert. We wanted take home containers. We wanted an enjoyable, pleasant meal. We dont get out, the 2 of us, alone, much.What I didnt want was your attitude. What I didnt want was to be unwelcome or ignored. What I didnt want was to leave feeling the way I did. Or feeling the way I do now.Maybe you can be pleased to know that you ruined our meal. Because you were "busy". 2 tables for each of you.We felt like we were not wanted there. Not welcome there.

A hidden gem. Doesn’t look like much on the outside but has a lot of character inside. Love the hanging rope lights.Hubby enjoyed the sampler and I had cordon blue. Just wish there was a little more variety of meals on the menu.Staff was great and helpful.Next time will try pretzels with cheese.

Genuine German Food! The saurkraut was homemade perfection. The salad was a marinade that you couldnt beat. The pork was perfectly prepared and generously portioned. The tea never ran out. A large selection of beer was to be had. The desserts looked delicious and were made in house. Service was friendly, curtious and timely. Restrooms were exceptionally clean. Worth leaving the interstate to visit. The air conditioning was working perfectly on this 100 degree day. We will be returning.

Came her for my sons Basic Training graduation. The staff was super friendly, and the food was excellent. Great portions for the price. We had Cheese Spaetzle, regular Schnitzel, Jagerschnitzel, Holsteiner Schnitzel,Farmers schnitzel, and the Grilled Tier. Had brochen (rollsand german salad. Thank you for a great dining experience.
