Had my 70th there Sat 22nd Oct ‘22. Such a great venue & the staff were fantastic. Thank you for making my B’day so special. The platters were plentiful & the bar tab lasted longer than ever expected😃

Security did not let me into the establishment at 02:25 even though I had a stamp on my wrist. Did not get informed about lockdown. Still let in his friends though. This is terrible customer service when I paid money for my entry.

Great vibe start of the night... by the end was crowded but cant expect any less when you have great live music and amazing bar staff

There is a fat/big new zealand security gaurd who assaulted a person in front of me for absolutey no reason. Me and my friends left along with the other people lining up. Venue did nothing about it.

Brilliant venue, a must-go on a Friday or Saturday night.Good for Price food, well and filling, and very juicy and tasty.Brought my Dad here for his birthday, his first time, and he was amazed that hed never been before. Got to sit down with our burgers and beers, and watch real football (Gridiron, for any of you Australians). Amazing experience.Bands always have a great sound, and the place is always bopping with some swing or rockabilly dancers on the floor.

Hubby and I stumbled across this place by chance when we parked on the street out front. We walked in and there was a great band playing. We ordered some drinks and food, and played some snooker. All whilst enjoying the music.Not a bad place to begin your Saturday night.

Nothing to say about the atmosphere of the bar, always great!I am a big consumer of furphy beer, but this time I took two pints 1 for me and 1 for a friend. Unfortunately we were never able to finish our beer it was so disgusting… we went to the bar to try to ask for a refund or 1 glass of something else but unfortunately the bar policy meant that we were never able to have anything else thing.. so we left really very disappointed.. hoping that this comment will help the bar to improve.. because despite everything there is still a very good bar.

Worst experience ever!Not only drinks were s**t but also apparently when you too friendly and just want to dance on a stage with a friendly musician the security guard will kick you out!I have done it in some many places and band appreciate it, cause it meant to them Me and My friend have amazing time.So if you too friendly do not go there. Also before 11 pm it is music for ppl my grandma’s age ( God bless my grandmaso it is your choice but i am not coming back!

I used to enjoy the Tuesday Latin evenings, bar and door staff are very good compared to other venues.Frustrated and disappointed to no longer be able to experience what is considered normal in a free, democratic and open society. My review is based on the grounds of Discrimination and utter disappointment felt, that after 10+ years patronage..

I may have been misinformed that this was a North American bar... went on a Friday night and was charged $10 entry before 9pm for 50s swing. Was feeling a little home sick and though a bar with walls adorned with neon Budweiser and fireball signs might be a place for a travelling Canadian.  Alas I was wrong... Mustang does not cater to the North American crowd as expected. I guess there is no home for North Americans here. Cheers Mustang.

Good range of drinks and reasonably priced (at least the ones I bought were).Didnt have much luck with the ladies but I think that was more of a negative reflection on myself, than the Mustang Bar....

Love the mustangsIts by far the most friendly and laid back place in Perth.Everyone always seems to be having a great time to the live music and the have free dance lessons etc.Never seen any trouble here in the 8 years Ive been in perth!Highly recommend you go have a boogie here and let your hair down

Great place. Great bands. A few idiots in the the place. Toilets need updating badly. Staff could smile too. It won’t hurt.

Went for lunch. This is an old style sports bar based on an old American theme. A little dark but the lunch specials are amazing for the price. My steak sandwich came with fries and a glass of beer for $10. Not massive servings but for $10 you really cant complain. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The boss of the securities guys grabbed my hair and pulled me out when the only thing I did was dancing on top of the stage. he could just said get down from there and Id have done it. He used hiss male and strength power on a small girl to kick me out. I wont recommend that place as a safe place.

Not sure how the bar staff are being trained, Disgusted, I took a picture of the pints I was served and was shocked when the bar person refused to fill them.

Took a chance and had a blast. Friday nights Flash Nat knows how to party. Fantastic vibe and fantastic music means a fantastic night out. Great crowd just there to have fun staff extremely attentive and keep things smooth sailing.

Great Place for catching up with friends and the staff are helpful and respectful.Pool, pinball machines, Sports on the big screen and a dance floor with Good and professional Security calls for a great experience.

Always a good time. Loud proud rowdy bar. Full of locals. Great live music. Good drinks choice. Prices are good. Clean.

Fantastic for a drink, a good time. A great energy to the place, with frequent live music and events. Milhouse are a great band with such a fun energy to em.Highly recommend going on a Saturday night.

Its good to see that there are places in North bridge worth while going to .Mustang Bar just stands out .life bands awsume dancers hanging around. Yes I love my rock n roll ..so if your 40 over you will love it but go early . Band starts at 8 p.m

Tuesday nights latin night. The crowd are talented and respectful. A good environment . And if you can dance you will make new friends.

Ended up here after dinner, I had not been there in a number of years. Not much has changed in the look of the place. Was a great night, the bar service was quick and very friendly even though it was quite busy. The band was good, playing mainly music from 80-90s, suited the venue well. The house music was more modern. Restroom were cleaner then expected in a late night bar.

The burger and the steak sandwich were both decent and quite nice portions. The dance floor is very well kept, and they had live bands both nights we went (Swing on a Friday, Rockabilly on a Saturday).

Its been a while since Ive step foot in a bar and it must have been the night, but the guys definitely out weighed the girls. Must have been a game on or something. But all in all a fun night with polite people just out to have a good time. I came with a few girlfriends and a few guys hit on us which was quite flattering considering our age. Great live music.

Great live music, fun place to dance! 💃🏻🕺The American burger and fries were great value 🍔🍟and the bar staff are great! 🍻 Reasonably priced drinks for a Perth bar, and often the tvs show football/rugby/soccer.🏃‍♂️Theres often a mix of young and mature people here.I would recommend!

Good for a backpacker night on a Wednesday - also do a pool competition and beer and a burger for $5! Live music and good vibe. Quite dingey and toilets arent the best but suppose its a bar!! Had many a good night here. Bouncers can also be a little rude!

Absolutely love Tuesday nights here! Fabulous free beginners class with pumping beats and great instructors. The intermediate classes are informative and fun and the social is full of amazing dancers. The bartenders are on the ball and the vibe is casual and relaxed.

This place has been doing salsa classes and dancing on Tuesday nights for years and years. The first hour from 7pm to 8pm is free and there is a class for absolute beginners. then there are classes at different levels from beginner to intermediate for a few hours, then its dancing for all until about midnight.I have also been here on other nights, where it is more of a "normal" bar, but my favourite is and probably always will be the salsa nights on Tuesdays from 7pm (as long as it keeps going this way).

Still open, still pulls a decent crowd for a drink and a dance.

This place has good and bad. They play 90s song and older. mostly the people here are over 30s to 50s, floors always wet from spilled drinks as after 11 it can be quiet chaotic. Drinks are affordable. Staff are always friendly. Free dance lesson here every Tue and Thu. Cleanliness and interior needs improvement.

Nice place, I enjoyed the live music!! Its one of my favourite places to go to when i am going out. The atmosphere is so nice, its busy everyday, but never feels uncomfortable or to crowded. I looooove their music.I can only suggest going there on a day out.

5 stars for the live music and swing social dance on Friday night (starts from 7 pm)

Im not huge on the live music scene where the music is in need of updating, however, the bar staff are quick, the wine menu is decent and the beer selection for both tap and bottle beer is extensive. Cocktails available, I have never tried them here. Many a decent spirit is available. Priced not bad. The place needs an update in music and decor. A dust wouldnt go astray either. Very popular with older people aged 30 and over

One of the best places for travellers and backpackers alike. You MUST go here on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, where the deal is $5 for a burger and a drink, and you get to enter the pool comp. If you are a backpacker and are in a hostel, these guys treat you like royalty. Great place for a midweek party. The band is good and the atmosphere is great. Ample place to dance and lots of pool tables and you can still get a good feed. GO HERE!
