A place of peace in the midst of a capital city. Free to enter although I would avoid prayer times. Its an architectural beauty vans as pretty as a picture. Pop in on your way to the fortress. Ideal if youre in the old bazaar area.

One of the best preserved mosques dating back to the end of the 15th century in our country.
The best Mosque in the Old bazar Skopje
Very beautiful mosque with views over the market
A very beautiful mosque
In my opinion, exposing a very loud sound from the loudspeaker of the mosque in the middle of day time - it’s disrespectful towards non-religious or other religion people.. Kinda 2021 year, maybe it’s time to move on and to stop sticking to the ancient traditions? For me as a tourist, it felt invading and aggressive.
Lovely mosque. Unfortunately our guide did not take us inside.
Very nice looking mosque, with a lot of history behind!
More then five hundred years old Mosque.
Amazing mosque
It is a good place to visit while staying in Skopje. It is clean and scarfs at the entrance for women. The place is very clean and looks very nice. However, there isn’t any information about the place anywhere.
Nice and calm white colour Mosque. Love the scenery for Skopje City from the top.
It is a nice mosque very close to the city centre. From this view you may see the old and new side of city and plus around 10 more mosque minaret.
It is a beautiful Mosque with its old Ottoman structure
Interesting historic building to visit. My encounter with a member of the community went bizarrely from engagingly welcoming to suddenly stopping the conversation to twice accuse me of having alcohol on my breath (which I did not).
Great example of balkanian muslims architecture
Historical mosque
Well maintained with a beautiful flower garden.
Simple but nice. Can also see the skyline of the capital city, worth visiting. However, women may be required to have their hair covered at least by a hat.
Very interesting tourist stop, glad I went to see

Impressive, if somewhat empty, mosque located on the edge of the old market. Visitors allowed for no fee.Small rose garden outside! Also, restrooms available for a small fee.
You can visit the mosque inside when there is no religious practice. You have to leave your shoes at the entrance of the mosque. This is an Ottoman-era mosque located in the Old Bazaar. It was built in 1492 by Mustafa Pasha. Interesting thing that the mosque is largely intact from its original state, and no additions have been made through the years. The mosque was built in 1492 and went through a renovation recently sponsored by the Turkish government. Theres a relatively big garden around. Thr atmosphere inside is tranquil, peaceful. A great place to take a break after strolling at the old market.
This mosque has a different mood. The Imam is a goodhearted sweet grandpa.
