Description
Nice pub food. Good live music and nice guinness
Located near Blarney Castle.Pleasant family themed restaurant. Wood Paneled walls, ceilings, a knight in shining armor. Bar and touristy atmosphere, the service was efficient and comfortable. The prices were reasonable and the food was decent and good.We ordered:2*Side dish of veggies included broccoli, cabbage and butternut squash.3*Caesar Salad w ChickenSide veggies -Warm marinated chicken on a bed of mixed salad: per normal.3*Large Battered Cod Fillet-Served with French fries, mushy peas, side salad & Tartare: mushy peas was nice. Cod was good, fried crispy batter with tender cod except a few thicker part.

So Kind You were.Isabelle Thank You for your kindness when Our Niece was poorly in bringing the food to the room for Us.Elaine Thank You for finding Our Much Loved Bag we had left behind and handed it in.Wonderful permanent Atmosphere always a Smile no matter the request.Thank You Gary Jerome and To All your smashing smiling team.We certainly will be back.Love Ryan Pam and Family. MoreAmazing food, so friendly and welcoming! We had the warm chicken salad -- maybe the best salad in Ireland. Kids had a cheeseburger, and chicken goujons, (chicken fingersand chips, (French fries).
MoreGreat pub food with amazing service. This was a fun stop.
Stayed for 2 nights above Muskerry restaurant and pub. Very clean, spacious and updated room. It slept 3 of us comfortable. It can be a little noisy in the morning if you sleep next to the windows. The pub quits down at 9ish, no problems there. It seems to be a popular hang out for the locals as well. The weird part is when you check in, you go to the bar. Its awkward with all your luggage so if you can dont bring it into the bar with you. There is a separate entrance outside on the left that you will take up to your room and it is all stairs. There is no elevator! If you cant do stairs theres a back entrance that is level with the hotel and theres parking in the back too. My mom has a hard time walking but it was fine for her and her scooter, but a bit inconvenient. So that is the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. There is a store right next to it and straight across from there is the entrance of Blarney castle, loved it!
MoreSuper quaint! Very nice room with twin beds. Great fish and chips and of course the Irish hospitality keeps on giving! I’ll stay again! Ps beautiful bath remodel 😉
MoreGood food, good ambiance, nice terrace i like it!

MoreStopped in for lunch after visiting the Blarney Castle. Lunch was wonderfully delicious! Fast service and staff was excellent! Highly recommend this pub! Try the turkey and ham meal and the vegetarian curry! Simply delicious!
MoreVery central location in Blarney. Great pub/restaurant with great atmosphere that enhances your experience here. Staff very attentive, food wonderful and plentiful, this is a must visit when in County Cork. Highly recommended.
MoreQuite hit-and-miss. Had incredible fish and chips one week, ordered the same 2 weeks later and I couldnt finish it.But its a good old reliable Irish pub if youre not into frills or fuss. Drinks are good, and location great.
More⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Enjoyed a fantastic lunch and our sandwiches were yummy delish! Great service with a friendly and warm atmosphere. Our waitress was so kind to go out of her way to find directions for us to bus to Cork to catch another to Dublin Airport in time for our flight. A huge thanks to all of you for the experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
MoreBLT had slimy lettuce very little tomato and uneven bacon. The rest of the food we ordered was edible but not great. Draft drinks were what we expected and served nice and cold though. Worst place I have eaten in Ireland.
MoreHad a great lunch today at Muskerry Arms. The staff was very cheerful and the owners talked to us. Highly recommend
MoreVery nice b&b! Comfy beds, nice bathroom, quiet at night. All the things that you want for a good nights sleep. 2 min walk to Blarney Castle. Kitchen was closed when we arrived at 9pm-ish, but grabbed some Chinese from across the street and owners of pub had no problem having us eat in the pub and provided plates for us. Very nice! 100% approve of this lovely b&b!
MorePerfect in every way. Food, staff, loved the style and how clean the place was kept. Price very reasonable.
MoreThe minute we walked in felt great and it was. Pints great ,staff friendly ,great buzz around the place. Beer garden even better ,food was great ,you can eat in or out .music that night pub full up .Will visit again .

MoreWarm welcome, great atmosphere because of good food and really good staff and management. Well done.
MoreI stopped after my visit of the blarney castel. Its a beautiful and very friendly place, the service was perfect. Thank you for speaking a bit in french with my friends and I.
MoreLovely roast lamb and mash potatoes, absolutely delicious, the bacon and cabbage was amazing.
MoreI had an amazing stay at Muskerry B&B, would highly recommend. I was a young solo female traveller for pleasure reasons. I arrived at the bar to check in and met a lovely girl, Aine, who I believe I was also talking to over the phone the night before when I was enquiring about check in time and if there was a key to the room, and who then explained on phone to check in, in bar. I arrived at 1.3 before check in time but my room was ready so was allowed check in early and Aine was very nice and explained everything very well to me and made me feel very welcome and she also offered to help carry my luggage to the room. My room was very cosy and beautifully decorated and very clean. The mattress was so comfortable and there was a spare pillow in the wardrobe and it was a very nice shower with very good water pressure and temperature options. Later, I went down to the bar for food and had the burger and chips, which was beautiful. The manager met me when I approached the bar and was bringing me to a high stool table, but I asked for a low table but he said there wasnt any available. Aine noticed this and ran after me and said she spotted a low table so gave that to me, which I was very impressed by. I was on the second floor and felt very safe and although my room was street facing on a bank holiday Sunday, there was no noise that kept me awake. The following morning I got a beautiful breakfast, that was freshly cooked, very tasty and generous portion wise. At breakfast I met another waitress who had a nice chat with me. The location is ideal as well, with the bus stop in and out of city literally outside door. Would highly recommend Muskerry B&B to anyone, whether a solo travel for work reasons or break or a couple, I dont think I could find a fault and would definitely go back if I was looking for a room again.
MoreWe were a party of nine and arrived before several other parties. The later arrivals received their food and we still were waiting. After a hour and fifteen minutes we asked for our drinks bill and left. I have never been treated in such an off hand way.
MoreWe went here for a meal it was busy and buzzy and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and likeable but forgetfull and the menu was extremely limited. For me it was difficult to get a meal that i wanted.
MoreOne of if not the best b&b I have ever stayed in. It has it all from comfy modern rooms to a bar that has everything you could want. To friendly staff and the best breakfast Ive had in a b&b in a long time. Cant recommend this place enough. Gary the owner even took time to talk to people and the beer garden is amazing too and the wood fired pizza with 1st class. 10 out of 10 all day long.
MoreGreat fish and chips, charming owners and the cider was perfect for a warm day.
Great place to stop in for a pint of Guinness (though they also have a good tap selection outside of that). Great Irish pub - was a able to have a nice conversation with an older local man who lived in Blarney all his life, which was nice too.
MoreUnbelievable, great waiter Ice kubes I think is the waiters name. I have some munch. Unbelievable burger
MoreStandard pub food, nice range of beers including several IPAs not commonly found. The prices are Dublinesq. Staff are lovely. Warm and cosy decor with multiple screens for sports.
MoreWe stayed one night at Muskerry Arms. Whilst the location was ok we found our room average, very small, hot (a pedestal fan was provided), with no bench space to place our luggage. Overall we were looking forward to staying here due to previous reviews we had read but we were disappointed.
MoreGreat food and service. Really nice rooms. Clean and renovated. Will come back.
Just had lunch here. Starter arrived with the mains and was charged €1.50 for a milk jug of gravy.
MoreBeautiful pub! Massive set up, the staff are amazing, so nice! The food there is fantastic! And its right in the heart of blarney! Can not recommend this place enough!
MoreThe staff is welcoming, the beers are great and the bar food is really good. Its easy to sip on a pint while chatting with folks here. Would happily visit here again.
MoreAmazing lunch and service. Had the ham and cabbage today. Good price and quality. Very happy Ohio boy!
MoreHad our mams surprise 70th birthday party/ meal here.. was fab.. Family surprised her first and so did myself and my family & kids from belfast as we walked in to surprise her afterwards.. Food was amazing and staff were lovely and helpful and kind etc .. recommended to anyone looking a place to eat out for a meal 🙂
MoreHighly recommend for anyone looking for a great pub and restaurant in Blarney Village. We enjoyed a delicious meal of huge proportions.and a chat with owner Mr.O’Conner. Between this evening and the live music & atmosphere the night before we had a truly delightful experience all around.
MoreWe stoped here for lunch after visiting Blarney Castle. The staff is delightful and friendly and the food is fantastic. Three of us had the special which was roasted chicken, mashed potatoes and vegetables. One of us had a burger. Everything we had was delicious.
MoreThis pub has such an authentic Irish charm and right across the street from the Blarney castle. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was do friendly and the service was fast. We felt right at home! Definitely a strong recommendation
MoreThe must stay place to get an early start to visit Blarney Castle and kiss that Blarney Stone before the crowds gather! Literally 500m from the venue! The bar, restaurant etc. provided fantastic service and the boutique rooms were special, clean and comfortable! The Guiness in the main bar was 1st rate as was the service and food, and it got my road trip with my elderly mother off to a fantastic start! Book now, you wont be disappointed!
MoreGreat place for a spot of lunch.Has everything a visiting American is looking forward to in an Irish pub in probably the most iconic of Irish towns Blarney!Im not an American myself.I found the staff excellent and very helpful and a credit to their jobs.Ill definitely be dropping by again and hopefully someone else will be the driver so I can avail of a pint of the black stuff whilst there.
MoreGreat local bar. Relaxed and spacious.Nice menu too, options for a light meal or full dinner.
MoreThe food is marvellous at this grand establishment. The seafood chowder with notes of fresh dill and bell pepper, it’s the most luscious meal. I highly recommend. We came for a meal and stayed for an experience. There was a football game on and it was a lovely experience to participate in. The special of the day was roast pork and that was grand as well. I say this little but big pub is a must visit for dinner after visiting Blarney Castle.
MoreGreat food and pleasant atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Lovely place for some food or a drink. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The night time atmosphere was great, bit of live music 👍👍👍
MoreThe room was tidy, but it did smell more cigarette smoke. When we told Jerome (who was incredibly nice!), he apologized and bought us a round at the bar. The waitress told us that some guests smoke in the rooms despite it being non-smoking and expressed her frustration (she was so sweet and empathetic). The staff at the bar, restaurant, and B&B are absolutely amazing. I wish wed stayed more nights. The bar was fun, and the crowd was friendly, with a mix of locals and travelers. It was March 16th, and there was live Irish music, but it wasnt rowdy - just cheerful and fun! It was one of my favorite parts of our vacation to Ireland. Also, the Blarney Castle is REALLY close, a 5-minute walk, and actually visible from our room on the 3rd floor!
MoreI stayed in the Muskerry Arms, for two nights as part of a group. I can only report good things, Jerome, meet me with a huge smile and a very genuine welcome. I felt very welcome, it was like a home from home. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely, attention to the smallest of details, extremely clean. The food was excellent. There was entertainment in the bar, music was fantastic, danced the legs off me! Thank you, Jerome and Staff, for a memorable two days.
MoreWent there for food tonight, we were told to sit where we liked, given menus given a drink and forgotten about, there were 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant we were in, around 7 waiters and waitresses and we could not get their attention at all. Worst service ever, after half an hour 1 waitress came to us, asked if we were OK. We told her we were going to order food but because we were left there for so long we decided we wouldnt bother. She said grand so we went across the road to the Claddagh restaurant, stunning food, excellent service.
MoreOverall decent place. The food and beer was excellent.Had a lot of minor problems with the room itself. The bathroom shower was really irritating to use and I burned myself several times while washing due to the design. The heavy doors and lots of stairs made having a suitcase annoying. The window outside was really poorly soundproofed so you could hear every person or car that passed by. Would have also been pretty nice if they had a mini fridge. Finally parking is a massive headache.Would I recommend it? Sure. I do think the rooms desperately need some TLC though, the shower in particular.
