Museum of Philippine Economic History in Suay

A big museum which showcases how the Philippine economy evolved through time. For now they have exhibits from Iloilo province and a few from nearby regions on the ground and second floor. Nice woodwork, inside the building. This place used to be just a storage area, now its better utilized to show history. The entrance is free, you just have to follow CV19 protocols and signup at the kind guard at the entrance. The entrance for this is located at the back of the Iloilo city hall near Kerr and Co. #RP

It’s definitely worth a quick visit.There’s good emphasis on the history of trade and industry of Western Visayas. I think the overall structure and the flow of one section to another could still be improved to better synthesize the information presented.

The museum is very clean, and nice. Its air-conditioned. All the historic informations are there. Glad were able to visit the place. Actually theyre opened everyday from 8am to 4pm, except Monday. 😊

This place is a great place to learn some Filipino economic history. It had a real great story to tell if you read through the entire museum. It was well worth the trip.

Good place to educate yourself about Iloilos economic journey through the years from its conception. Bit bare bones and the informative text displays could be spruced up more to make it less of a trial to read.

The workers there are nice, and mabubusog mata mo sa exhibits. I went with my cousins (high schoolersand they had fun. Must include in your Iloilo escapade.

Must visit in Iloilo, a wonderful old building with a fascinating history.The Philippines is not overly endowed with museums but IloIlo is changing that , its beautifully restored building with a small but interesting collection.

Amazing. This museum is Huge. There are so many collections of old stuff. You can really see the money put into the most recent renovations. You must visit this. Love it very well. Congratulations to NHCP. Free entrance from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
