Museum of Natural History in Skopje

Need more updated resources.Most of the relics and skeletons are from teritory of Macedonia,which is good.Object need restoration.

This was obviously a cutting edge museum in the 1950s and is still a wonder to behold all of the preserved specimen and artwork depicting natural history.This science teacher even saw some animals that were new to her!

Outstanding museum of natural sciences in the center of Skopje. In the city ZOO complex. Contains two floors of various exibitions of rocks, vulcano bombs; fossil findings from mammoths, tree finger horses, rhinos, fish, birds; plants; bugs; butterflies; nowadays fish species in Macedonia; insect eaters; wild animals; and many scientific explanations. Must see in Skopje

A lots of animals, very interesting for a child!

The entry was 60 MK/1 euro. It is basically alot of texidermined animals, stones, insects, plants. Everything is in Russian. But okay to have a look. I was alone at the museum, and its two stories.

Old but impressive. Fun for kids and cold in hot summers...

It contains a very nice presentation of a large ammount of species with a guide explaining there places in nature and whatnot. Would highly recomend for biology lovers out there.

Its nice thats existed this type of museum!!! Its nice nice for the kids to come and learn more about living spicies!!!

Two floors. Ok but I dont like to see dead animals like this.

been here twice. its a place that everyone should visit , especially little children. for adults it is fun the exponents are well organized and it has confusing architectural structural interior that gives the place spooky character that goes along with history and dead animals. a bit adventures place to visit

Un loc ce trebuie vizitat când sunteti in Scopje. Are multe exponate. Copiii sunt fascinați. Dar de cinci stelute este grădina zoologică cu animale curate, îngrijite, terase locuri de joacă. Pot spune că este un parc zoo.

Muzej se nalazi neposredno uz ZOO vrt. Rade samo do 16h.

Amazing place. There is lot to see here. I Would definitely recommend anyone to visit this place.

It is a historical exbition of flying, swimming animals, wild animals, bugs and butterflies also plants and there is some dinosaurs skulls.. But I expected more translate to english specially on entrance. / Kanatlı, yüzgeçli ve vahşi hayvanların yer aldığı. Ayrıca böcek, kelebek ve bitkilerin sergilendiği, girişte şaşırtan dinazor kafataslarının bulunduğu müze. Girişi diğer müzelere göre çok ucuz.

Based on imagination not of facts.. Not all great human beings are from Macedonia..

Everything is organised chronologically. From the times when dinosaurs lived up until modern time. It offers much information about the nature and its beauty. The price for a ticket is cheap, and they allow an organised trip by a school. It is very quiet, like a museum should be. Dont hesitate to visit it.

Located in the courtyard of the Skopje Zoo, adjacent to the City Park, the Museum of Natural Science contains more than 4,000 intriguing items from the minerological, paleontological, botanical and entomological worlds, as well as exhibitions of vertebrates and non- vertebrates indigenous to Macedonia.
