Like any other historic places, you will find this almost same as them. And by same, I do not mean the exact same, I mean there is nothing so much unique to see there. But it is good for sight seeing and photography purposes. The whole city (Athenshas its own unique vide though. If you somehow visit it then it is fine but dont go there specially because you wont see anything new.

An excellent neighbour of traditional houses. Museum of Modern Greek Culture has many buildings around the historic centre of Athens. Unfortunately some of them are closed for renovation. I hope they open soon. A part of this place have been renovated and houses temporary exhibitions. Check their website for more information.

Βρέθηκα στο νέο Μουσείο που καταλαμβάνει ένα τετράγωνο Αδριανού, Κλάδου και Βρυσακιου. Κυριολεκτικά η καρδιά της πόλης της Αθήνας του 19ου αιώνα. Αναστηλωμενα τα κτίρια καθώς και το εκκλησάκι του Αγίου Ελισσαιου στο οποίο εψελνε ο Αλέξανδρος Παπαδιαμάντης.Το σπίτι του Ίωνα Δραγούμη ήταν η αφορμή για την επίσκεψή όπου οι Φίλοι του Μουσείου οργάνωσαν εκδήλωση για τον Ίωνα με διαλέξεις για την ζωή του και του έργου του.Στο σπίτι του θα εγκατασταθουν τα ενδύματα καθώς έχει αποφασιστεί σε κάθε σπίτι και ένα είδος εκθεμάτων.
