Nice museum, especially the healing plants part was very interesting.
Beautiful view and intersecting things to learn
The only environmental museum in Africa! You will learn a lot about the unique geographic situation in Rwanda. The guided tour is for free and the staff is really competent. On the rooftop is a little garden with native Rwandan herbs. So if you are interested also in traditional medicine this is the place to be!
Good to know what happens else where.Nice Lake Kivu View
Well documented on how Rwanda is making the necessary changes to improve on their environmental impact. An excellent guide supported us and shared their extensive knowledge on the various exhibits. Certainly a place to visit and particularly in the company of a guide to explain the displays.
It was an amazing experience with very friendly people around. You want to know more about Rwandas Energy thats the place for you.The Museum opens from 8:00 am –16:00 pm daily but on Umuganda opens by 12pmAll Museums in Rwanda are closed on April 7 (Kwibuka/Commemoration of the Rwandan Genocide)
The museum is very instructive
Nice place besides Lake Kivu
Nice place, good service near lake Kivu
Awesome
Very Nice and Educative place on the entire continent. Ive visited many museums, but This one appears to have alot about Natural science and cultural exhibitions. Very easy to relax after the tour since the boat ride services are everywhere around in Lake kivu. Good Job 👍 keep it up guys!
You are reading the review of a very curious person who would rather spend her day in a museum than at a party. The museum of Environment is rich. It is, I would say, the overview of different amazing locations in Rwanda. It perfectly illustrates the green colour of the Rwandan flag.It is a place you can go to not once nor twice or thrice but every single day of the week and still enjoy it. It not only tells you about itself but invites you to visit all the beautiful places that it displays in its gallery. And there is even more! Like the minishop they have, the study room, the conference room... Go take a look!!
Nice and quiet place and you can get some knowledge about the lake and gas plant and many more.
Really helpful guide who told us lots of interesting information. Various exhibits - the medicinal plant garden was fascinating.
I had great time❤

Nice to spent day
The museum has some interesting exhibitions on energy, geology and natural history of Rwanda, as well as a garden showing a large selection of plants traditionally used for medicinal purposes in Rwanda. What really set our visit apart though was our guide Frank (the guided tour is included in the entrance fee btw). He was extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about the topics on display as well as many other topics of interest to us as travellers to Rwanda. We spent several hours talking about the exhibitions and Rwandan culture, history and society in general. He even gave us good pointers on what else to see and do later on our visit to this great country.
Good

Museums are generally well organized in Rwanda. The staff and guide was amazing; well informed about deeper technical challenges and opportunities regarding energy and environment sector in Rwanda. Every penny spent for museums in Rwanda is worth it. It help you develop wider perspective for the future meanwhile, informs you the past.
