Although these pictures are from a few years ago (2018), the sense of artistry is still forever there. The MOCA building is one of a kind and a very cool place to see some great art in Cleveland.I cannot say enough about how I appreciate places like this.I hope to get back soon as art is always changing and very much reflects our world in unique perspectives. It would be a high honor to have some of my work in the Halls this place one day.Because I live in the very west border edge of the rust belt, its a challenge to get any acknowledgment by any of the art groups, galleries and museums in Cleveland. But my work will make it there one day... Its strange how Ive shown in places like New York City, and all up and down the East Coast, but never close to home in such a capacity. If youre affiliated with one of these larger galleries in Cleveland, holla at your boy!!! Hahaha 😅😂

Have some ok-ish exhibits though was quite underwhelming looking at the building from outside. I think its better to visit if there are any special exhibits rather than doing a walk-in. Good part is the free entry.

The museum building sited on a prominent corner of Mayfield Road and Euclid Avenue is a striking element of University Circle and the Uptown neighborhood. I think it is especially set off in the winter when the trees surrounding the structure are bare. These photos were taken on a rare sunny January morning.

I attended the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCAto see an exhibit by artist Dexter Davis. The exhibit was free and open to the public from 6pm-9pm on the day I went. I enjoyed the exhibit. It was well presented and very informative. The artist was also present on the day I was there.

Hello My Name Is Ebay Fuller,First Thing I Want To Mention Is The Omnipresence Of Terry, To See Someone There Everyday Shows How Much He Cares And Is Indulged Into What He Is Doing And Loves. The Level Of Skill Shown At The Minimal Age Of 21 Is Outstanding; Being Able To See The Hard Work And Thought Put Into Each Piece. Lastly The Energy That Circles That Room Is Beautiful And Inspiring To Artist Of All Styles. To Terry I Just Want Say I Am Proud Of This Amazing Accomplishment For You Completely Major. Especially As A Black Male In Cleveland, Ohio Is Gives Hope To The Community That There Are People Here That’s Meant To Impact Individuals, Families Etc. Much Love 🥂

The staff at the museum were super friendly and welcoming. I visited the MoCA to check out the Terry Joshua exhibit The Pinkest Hue and I was not disappointed. The vibes were immaculate from the jump. The music along with Terrys energy set the space off. The art Terry shares is raw, full of emotion and gives you a peek inside his life experiences. I checked it out three times and everytime I found something new to appreciate.

This museum is such a great experience! They showcase great talent while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. I visited Moca twice in the past two months to experience Terry Joshua’s The Pinkest Hue. If you didn’t get a chance to witness the exhibit in person, for yourself, you truly missed out on something amazing. Several times throughout the exhibit, I found myself speechless and in awe. Not only does Terry Joshua tell his own story, he speaks of a journey we’ve all been on in some way or fashion, through his artwork. I am so grateful to have seen an exhibit like this one and can’t wait to see what Terry Joshua has in store for his supporters next!

The Pinkest Hue was truly an inspiration. It revealed the truth that anything you want, is indeed achievable. Terry himself is destined for success, he warmly welcomed everyone and was extremely thrilled to further explain each piece with guests. Behind each piece of art was a piece of himself, his vulnerability/transparency is what I admired most about this whole exhibit/experience. As for his talent, it speaks for itself and I am excited for what’s next.

Terry Joshua’s ‘The Pinkest Hue’ was an amazing experience. Everything was well thought out—from the organization and placement of each piece, to the music that was played in the background, even to the room that was selected. All these factors combined created an environment like no other. Having seen the growth of his artwork in real time from his first show in 2019 to this show in 2021 is a clear indicator of how far and high he will fly in the future.

Terry Joshua’s “The Pinkest Hue” is a experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. I enjoyed every aspect of the exhibit from the moment I walked in I was greeted by the very friendly staff who directed me to the exhibit I also was greeted by the legend himself Mr. Joshua with such kindness and generosity. I have visited many exhibits before but this one specifically has accomplished something in which many of the others haven’t which was touch my soul, heart and mind. The whole experience was very enjoyable from the vivid colors, powerful imagery ,heart felt poems and the synonymous themes showed through out his art work. The exhibit had such a profound effect on me that I revisited the exhibit for a second time. I feel truly blessed to have had the chance to experience the exhibit and it’s something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

This gallery I saw was so indulging I had to come back & see it twice. No matter where you came from there is a journey & if you didn’t know when you got there. You most definitely knew when you left. This particular gallery hit home for me , coming from a broken home trying to navigate through painful situations not knowing how to express myself lead me to art & .. leaving here left me with a breath of fresh air knowing It’s okay to embrace those feelings cause when it all comes together we get master pieces like The Pinkest Hue , Thank You Again Mr. Terry Joshua ..

Terry Joshua’s x The Pinkest Hue. 2021Pushing the agenda of vulnerability! Artist explains the realness of a childhood x coming of age story involving the lessons, struggles x adversities many don’t mention.Ultimately giving us a venture of his story//what makes him who he is today. His art conveyed that through trauma, hell & more. You can always preserve this exhibit was only the beginning. Terry Joshua is truly a genius. While every piece felt like freedom. The artist made sure to hold an conversation with every visitor, the music x the energy constantly bounced…this was truly more than an experience.Thank you, Terry Joshua. More than ecstatic to see what’s next for you! Heavy is the Head.

Terry Joshua exhibit the “Pinkest Hue” was a pure display of artistic genius ! The young artist really took his time in crafting art that not only spoke on his personal woes and triumphs but allowed the viewers to take their personal interpretations and paint their personal story with his beautifully crafted pieces.Terry set the tone with adding background music, this paired perfectly as I personally was able to view the paintings and read the journal entries or poems associated with them. The handsome young artist made himself available at the end for questions which made the experience even more beautiful. Pictures definitely does not do his art justice, if your in the Cleveland area you definitely need to visit the Pinkest Hue before the end of the year and keep Terry Joshua as an artist to look out for!

Art imitating life. Progression leading to ones own profession. Imagination bringing about reality. The burgeoning young artist Joshua Terry Johnsons exhibition of The Pinkest Hues...it was raw and gritty yet refined and concerted. Watching his story unfold in the medium of paint and music not only was breathtaking..it was awe inspiring. Each illustration thrust the viewer into Johnsons world and allows you too question the values which have been planted in our psyche. You can see and feel even though conflicted...if one stays grounded in his own truths...surely goodness and mercy will follow you.

The Pinkest Hue: I’m truly moved and inspired. This is one of the most moving showings of art I’ve witnessed. All the details and nuances felt so familiar as if I lived these pieces…….and I sort of did.Terry’s work was powerful, aesthetically pleasing and soul grabbing. I could tell with every line drawn and with every brush stroke there was pain being realized and released and I am happy that I got to see twice in person.I thoroughly enjoyed The Pinkest Hue and I look forward to what Terry Joshua does next!

The Pinkest Hue by Terry Joshua was such a captivating experience. I loved every bit of the exhibition. The poetry, music, and art told a visual story of his journey from his adolescence years into adulthood. The most amazing part was his presence. To be able to interact and connect with Terry after viewing the exhibit was certainly a pleasure and a moment I won’t take for granted.

The MOCA museum has always been a place of outstanding artwork with even more exceptional artists who create the work. The two artist of the season Joyce Morrow Jones and Terry Joshua have used their medias to not only catch the eye of the viewer but to tell a story. A story of love, loss, pain, triumph and most importantly history. The powerful imagery and use of textures, patterns, and bold colors. Made each piece stand out on its own, and stand in harmony with the next. If you haven’t experienced the hardworking talent that is of these two artists at the museum, you’re missing out!

Terry Joshua’s “The Pinkest Hue” exhibit is one of the most compelling art installations I’ve experienced. Going through the roller coaster of being a young soul in this generation, Terry’s ability to translate that experience is like no other. I strongly recommend anyone, of any age to go and experience his art. The best part is that even though he didn’t have to be, he was there to greet all of us and guide us through the experience. His art speaks for itself, God’s work manifested.

Going to this museum was awesome, the building layout is super interesting and fun to go through. My favorite exibit was Pinkest Hue, it was so powerful and beautiful to me. It was so cool to have Terry Joshua there to talk to about the exibit as well, and it says a lot about the museum that they are able to find and host such talented artists. Highly recommend!

Magnificent volcanic glass looking building, gorgeous and terrifying "Judys hand" by Tony Tasset and "Blue Mao" by Andy Warhol those were only three things my eyes could catch. I spent more time in their gift shop then I did in entire museum. I feel sorry for my blindness but these guys left me a little bit disappointed.

Though it was much smaller inside than I had expected, the Museum of Contemporary Art is worth a visit. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and passionate about their work. The exhibits are a mixture of fun, informative, and powerful.Admission is free, making it all the more worthwhile to go visit. Leave an hour or so to get through the entire museum, though it will likely take less time than that. Also check out the cool architecture of the building and the pieces outside. Great gift shop too!

Only thing I wish they had more parking, but I understand there are a lot of people that use busses and walk, however I was still hard to find parking. Other than that the exhibits were larger than life! A one of a kind experience. I love how they have the little "hands on room" where people (especially the childrencan sit and draw the still life in the middle of the room, or whatever else they want. My favorite piece was where you leave an article of clothing or anything on you and it gets sewn into the thread from the wall connecting everyone! GENIUS!

Admission is free. It looks magnificent outside, but inside is pretty small and has few art pieces/interactive experiences. I saw more staff and stairs than art pieces. It is the worst contemporary art museum I have ever seen. Although it was Saturday afternoon, it was quite empty. It lacks the spirit of a museum... I would choose to pay for a satisfactory museum experience.

My trip to MOCA happened earlier this year during the month of June 2018. As soon as I entered the museum, I was welcomed by their staff and I was given a brief introduction to the museum. Then, I started to explore the museum on my own. As a sound engineer, I had a lot of fun using the Moog Mother-32, semi-modular analog synthesizer, and trying out Tibetan Hand Bell, Singing Bowl, Tingsha Cymbals, Conch Shell. New York-based artist Tauba Auerbachs paintings and glass sculpture were exhibited during my visit. The museum introduces new exhibitions three times a year. The whole museum can be covered under 30-45 minutes. Its a small and beautiful museum with two floors of exhibits. Its a fun activity to do in Cleveland.

I was really excited to check out MOMA...I waited until the first Saturday of September (the first Saturday of every month is free sponsored by PNC). Anyway I was very disappointed there are very few exhibits in the museum and many of them seem more like community projects (which is great but not what I was expecting). Cleveland has such a great art museum I guess I was hoping for more from MOMA. I would recommend going over to CMA instead. Unless youre really in to modern art
