Museum Satwa - Museum of zoology in Singosari, Indonesia
Wow, wow, WOW!. I was totally blown away with just how comprehensive this museum was!I visited during weekday and paid IDR 140K, which gives you access to this museum along with the Batu Secret Zoo and Eco Green Park. What made it more memorable, as I was taking photos on the front lobby, I asked a guide (his name was Mas Ade, please correct me if im wrongregarding the content of the museum and imagine the shock when I learned that there are only FOUR individual figures that ARE NOT real. THE REST USED TO BE ALIVE!! This is some high level stuff were talking about here.I was lucky to be given a free tour where Mas Ade told me about his job as the Taxidermist on this museum and gave me a LOT of backstories from each animal. I swear, i couldve paid more for his guidance, this has enriched my visit tremendously! If you have time, please please come here and learn about the richness of the Earths fauna. This place is NOT to be missed!
This is a well decorated museum. A ggod place to go with your family. Children will love it and you can have a nice family pictures. The collection is in a good condition. The room is clean and it even better if you visit Baru Secret Zoo too because thay are in the same location. I recommend this place for family vacation.
Good and great for biologist and zoologist...

Great collections of taxidermy animals. Providing additional information if the live animals are not present in the zoo. Incredibly huge building, clean, and family friendly. The downside is the lack of the toilet inside the building.
Great place with a lot of animal statue

Good diorama, feel like the animal is alive
best zoo that i visited. great collection, clean, and its so big.
Hidden gem inside the Jatim park 2 touristy area! You and your kids must come check this place out to learn about animals with amazing display from this huge replica of dinosaurs to these preserved animals inside their habitat being display separately. I’m telling you guys this is such a nice place with affordable ticket fare so you must not missed it!
The zoo was good and complete, very convenient, clean and all the animals are healthy. Facilities are clean and near all the important spot. I was just upset when it came to safari bus since it was rainy, all the animals went to the shelter and I couldnt enjoy it that much, plus I thought the foods for the animals were free. Turned out we still need to pay in order to feed the animals in the safari bus. Nevertheless it was great!
I found alot of downlight bulbs are broken which cause insufficient light in the corridor, really not acceptable since its consider to easy maintenance.Dark corridor is also cause the room is become not friendly for smartphone photography meanwhile i quite sure that most of people who coming will rely on their smartphone for taking pictures.Other things, the room temperature is consider too HOT, not comfy condition for people to get stay longer inside.I hope management will get improve ASAP
Very recommended. Amazing museum with amazing animals inside. Ensure to reserve your time more as youll never stop enjoying the fascinated creatures.
Huge with hundres various animals, looks so real
Its such a marvel to see this museum. It has a collection of preserved animals, from mammals to reptiles and even fish. Very suitable to teach children about animals, and it also reminds people to not kill animals and not burn forests. It also has seating areas and toilets inside the museum.
Great indoor adventure. Lots of beautiful spots for photo to create memories. However, ac is not to cold.
The museum offers wide range of preserved animal dead bodies from many countries, quite surprisingly the way they collected them.It located next to Batu Secret Zoo, shared the similar parking lots with the same entry gate. Easy to find from the street as the location signs are showing the proper direction into it.Inside the museum, we may see the informatiojln of the animal collections.... Event from the ancient history up to the the last century.Good education venue for the children and ourself. Spare your time even just a quick pop-in into the museum... Just before getting out from the parking lot.
Good place to enjoy the knowledge of animals around you after visiting the Zoos.
One of the best museum for pre historic animals.
Amat sangat bagus!!International standardEdukative and fun...good for family and children.I really enjoy spending time there.Clean.... AC.... lots of animals and wow... so beautiful.
Museum Satwa is family friendly museum. You can bring young kids to explore animals from near and know about them from a lot of animal collection statues. The ticket to visit Museum Satwa bundled with Batu Secret Zoo. Both of them is a great place for recreaction and learn about animals in Indonesia.

better to go to secret zoothere is minimal explanation or sign insideno staff explain about the presentationso many people use it for selfie
from outside this museum already looks magnificent with buildings resembling a white building. The museum is also very good for learning all circles, because this museum is made in such a way that all ages can enjoy itall the animals here are made like life, are inside glass like aquarium.the atmosphere is cool and there is a praying mosque.amazing.
i like this place,so modern and futuristic and so many collection that make us educated
the museum is filled diorama of stuffed animals. they are so good! and the collection is quite extensive.
When I enter the door there is a big birdcage and inside it there is a deer with ghetto style sit in the chair with guitar beside it. "Oh, this place maybe just for young people for taking selfies" said my mind pessimistically. The next stage was a big tree surrounded by animals from Africa, i.e. elephant, giraffe, deer, etc. And by different species of antelope inside wall with their name and description displayed above the glass partition. "Ok, not bad", I thought. When I enter the next room, my subconsciousness immediately open my satchel and take the mirrorless camera, ready to take photos of all of the mummified butterfly and insect. "Holy universe! This is awesome"Each and every room after that can not stop my mind from feeling awe and orgasm. Best experience ever, worth every cent of it.After you finish, you should ask to yourself "A deity made all of this just to amuse us?" I dont think so.
Complete and details info for all dead animals.. a very big museum
This museum shows animals almost from all continental. From the smallest like dragonfly until whale.Almost are coming from dead body of animals with great accessories in room with glass make it almost real.I would say it is not only display, but more than that, it is great art.

I like this place, so modern and futuristic. Many various animals here. I like the dinosaur bones :)
All stuff in this museum was made from living things and then preserved. This museum is large. You can take some photos inside this museum. There are many objects you can photo with.
Various collection, good job by its curator. Well-managed place, modern and futuristic. Great fun for family trip or even a student vacation.
