Russische Kolonie 2, 14469 Potsdam, Germany, Werder
19th-century heritage village with 13 buildings, one of which houses Russian colonial life museum.
Russian style and delicious Russian cuisine
Very cold staff. Not a smile.
Not much to offer, but cute
Lovely park, a lot to explore
Very original,as it is,unique,history
You can visit a museum in this place
Silent place in the city. Good for a cup of tea between the apple trees.
Fascinating piece of history.
The preserved old houses are authentic in terms of architecture.
Autumn is best time
Good place to walk through, but there is not much to do there. The wooden houses are very nice though
Food is good and reasonably priced
Russian Village house in Potsdam city!!..beautiful
Go and try the food the offer. Its delicious
Nice restaurant with authentic russian food at the heart of Potsdam. The place is quite and very nice
The museum is inside one of the 13 houses of the Russian settlement. Although it has been restored with lots of keenness, it is more of a text exhibition rather than a place where you could have an experience. Actually the history of this place is fascinating (Emperor Friedrich Wilhelms wish to have Russian settlers, the deep Friendship between him and Tsar Alexander), still the infos are not well written, partly very detailed, and do not resolve some questions like what happens nowadays.
Nice bit of history where you probably wouldnt expect it. Not too much to see but kind of cute and offers a nice restaurant with some russian traditional food.
Not impressed to be honest the Dutch area is much better
Well Designed place with all those little details which remind me of childhood and flash me back to beautiful memories. The service is very Warming. Kuchen sind sehr lecker.
Menue reduced. Service sometimes not friendly. Tourist oriented.
Very beautiful place!
Awesome !
Nice walk around the area but not worth going inside.
Nice Museum in the heart of the city of Potsdam in Germany. Lots of interested things to be seen at the Museum
The unique atmosphere in the garden cafe
A very good place for fans of Russian cuisine.
Cool place. Nice russian restaurant.
Nice russian houses
I visited twice time on Sunday and Monday but it was not open. There is a person inside but he did not know when it’s open.
A very unusual and interesting place worth visiting. Its unusual because in the heart of Germany you can see and meet Russia. Beautiful nature interesting objects and shops. All tasty apples. The place is great to see or just enjoy a few hours.
Beautiful area with apple trees, museum, and restaurant. Perfect for Potsdam visitors that arent just focused on Sanssouci.
They just harvested the apples when we got here, russian soups pancakes and noodles. The band was lovely and the food hearty. Im sure the museum is quite cute as well. The whole place had a nice rural russian flair. Certainly a quick must see when visit Potsdam. The buildings look fairly authentic. Why not stop here for a moment.
Very nice place to learn about the local history of the Russian colony and also to enjoy the sun in the big garden / orchard
Idealistic Russian village representative of better off peasants houses.
I didnt see inside of the museum but this is a very cute little village in Potsdam. The lady at Berlin tourist info recommended it, and it turned out we were staying close by so we just give it a try. And found out she was wrong, this place is not nice, its gorgeous! We loved the Russian type little houses, it suddenly gets you to somewhere else, you should visit for sure. Not five stars because I dont know whats inside the museum so dont want to make a false impression.
Interesting the place. Small piece of Russian history.
Nothing much to see except houses that are scattered around, too lazy to walk. But the russian food there is very delicious.
Fancy log cabins in a small orchard. Crowded but nice setting.
A good place to walk around and admire these houses if youve never seen old Russian cottage-style houses before.
They didnt keep all the historical features of the place
Its a interesting museum, with quite a small but information heavy exhibit. That being said all the signs are in German. They have outdoor tables where they serve a variety of drinks, including Russian lemonade.
Less impressive than sansoucci. Nevertheless worth a visit.
Beautiful example of Russian wooden architecture in the middle of Germany! Relaxing climate, Russian cuisine avalaible
Absolutely nothing to do
Very nice piece of old history
Old 18-19 century style Russian houses in modern Germany. An interesting part of the Prussian history connected with the Russian empire.A different face of Potsdam.
Another one amazing place in Potsdam! Big surprise worth to visit for a while ...
An extraordinary place with a history behind it. Nice place to walk as well as to have a Russian-style lunch.
This is a nice little collection of huts.
Neat collection of Russian style buildings in a park-like setting. The back yard areas are communal and are used as orchards. A neat wander through town.
