Museu Tauromáquico in Lisbon
Description
Very nice place for shopping and some concerts almost in the city center. It used to be a place for bullfighting (Tourada in Portuguese).
MoreThe building have an incredible arquitecture but its sad because it supports the bullfighting tradition. Come on... We already passed through medival...
MoreBeautiful arena with shopping, dining and Cinema City
Very good museum, I will be back as I didnt have time to explore fully.
Good location within city limits to bring kids to play
Maybe i dont care for matadors and tortured bulls but i didnt find it fascinating in any way!
MoreVery nice "plaza de toros" and museum. A beautiful architecture and very good restaurants.
MoreTo be seen bullfighting where horsemanship is king and the bull gets in some licks of its own. (Nonlethal bullfighting.)
MoreI enjoyed exhibition on handcraft. Not bad at all
Great Arabic inspired structureplace. A lot of places to eat and drink. Nice underground shopping center. Foodcourt is not too big.
MoreIve seen great concerts here, but unfortunately, the sound isnt always the best.
Typical Portuguese bull ring in the centre of Lisbon its the Last one still standing in the area
MoreA beautiful place withba lot of high cultural events
Its in this place that some of the best events of the city of Lisbon are held.
Best museum in Lisbon. Showcasing the History of Bullfighting in Portugal. Cultural traditions are essential for Portugal.
MoreNice and cozy poace to have a coffe, dinner and go shopping.
Good to visit and with diferents options of food
Interesting journey through Portuguese matador history.
Goo place to eat and drink. Nice underground shopping center. Foodcourt is not too big. Great Arabic inspired structure. Other than these, it has a small museum.
MoreIts a very good place for indoors shows. It has a nice internal space, lots of bars to get snacks and beverages and nice toilets. The only problem may be parking your car, so I advice going by taxi or subways/buses.
MoreGreat bar at cinema campos pequeno. My favorite spot. I use to watch and eat here every week - ask for cinema menu € 9 movie and dinner all included
MoreI was not impressed. The museum is small but that was not a problem, I wanted to see the arena. They were preparing for a concert and the arena was filled with chairs and metal structures. I hoped to see it only with sand. If you are lucky maybe you will get a better view.
MoreIt is a nice pretty calm shopping center, with cinema
Beautiful little mall
It is used for bull fight. They dont kill the bull here . So it is fine. There are shops and restaurants in the meseuam.
MoreGreat place to see a concert! It is next to the metro station and it also has some nice Bars and restaurants arround it!!
MoreOutstandingly beautiful monument, i love to walk around it
Is a little museum but you can be absolutely pleased with so many beautiful things! Deserve to be seen. With children is not so comfortable, but can be a delightful for a night to spend.
MoreBest place for concerts!here to can find inside structure restaurants, bars and Manu shops so gli can enjoy a full experience during an event such3 ad concert, teathre shows and more.Situated near by a metro station "campo pequeno",here you can visit museum and discover a Real Corrida camp well preserved.
MoreNice little mall with a good food court. Great venue for large events.
Nice shopping and cinema in the city centre and close to the airport
Nice mall and shopping close to my hotel
This historical building used to be an arena for bull fighting. We were told by the taxi driver, who drove us from the airport, it is no longer used for bull fighting. The middle part of the basement of the coleseum building becomes a lively food court in the evening. It is popular and crowded. You can get traditional portugaise food, pizza, burgers etc...also wine and beer from the bars. There are independent shops selling clothing, jewelry and household goods along the outer corridorFood was really good. Lots of choices of fast food fare. Prices were very reasonable. Ambiance lively.
MoreHistorical monument, from the bullfighting era. Nice spot for events, like football
MoreThe stands are quite uncomfortable, the space between each person is far from ideal. My knees were touching the front row person in the back. The acustic is very good. And the staff is friendly. My only complaint is seat spaces is the stands.
MoreNice place to take a walk, catch Pokémon in the company of friends. There is a Mc Donalds and a place to study if you are student of Lisboa University. Bring pets. There is a place to play with them. There are tenis courts too. Nice cleaness. Need of public restrooms. Lively place with nice people. Security and nice staff. Easy access.
MoreThe underground shopping center is interesting with nice food court. 1/2 a roast chicken in the supermarket cost around 2 Euro!! Fresh squeezed orange juice also 2 Euro.
MoreIf you like bullfighting its ok! Nice restaurants!
Its outrageous that they still allow a disgusting slaughter as the corrida! We all should boycott this place!
MoreGreat event hall which i witnessed my first bullfighting and coincidentally my company transforming the entire place to hold our gala dinner here!
MoreBull ring
it has one Japanese restaurant there, must try !!!
Nice venue with regular concerts and events
Fantastic refurbishment since I was last here... restaurants museum, shopping mall.... variety of show options...
Morebrilliant place; loads of lovely foods for sale from traditional to contemporary.Great place will deffo go again when im in lisbon again.
MoreLearned a lot about Portuguese style bullfighting. They dont kill the bull.
(Not a review of the museum but of the concert venueI have seen MGMT and The National here and really liked the space and sound...a friend who was sitting higher up in the The National concert told me the acoustic was terrible for him with the sound bouncing all over the place.
MoreIts only a tiny museum but the guide was very enthusiastic and helpful. I dont really agree with bull-fighting but it still gave me a bit of an insight.
MoreModerate size shopping mall around a "stadium" kind of building. It has some good restaurants, but the number of food places is limited who accept non-Portuguese bank cards for pay
MoreBeautiful old bull ring to the north of downtown Lisbon. Stop there in order to get some lunch at the food court that is located under the bullring. Found what amounted to a small mall there. Lots of decent food choices and one spectacular one by the name of Mr Pig. Suckling pig done perfectly!
