Leider ist die Sammlung kaum kuratiert. Übersetzungen ins Englische fehlen bei den meisten Exponaten. Das Ganze wirkt wie eine lose Ansammlung an Kriegsgerät, ohne Kontext oder echtes System.Die temporäre Ausstellung zu den Überlandskriegen lässt leider jedes Gespür für die Komplexität des Konflikts vermissen.

V Ponta Delgadě trochu neočekávané, ale přesto velmi zajímavé tématické museum. Prohlídka tak na půl druhé hodiny, za 3,-€ opravdu levné.

É uma vergonha um museu público, do Estado português, cobrar bilhetes aos contribuintes portugueses para ser visitado. Neste país funciona tudo à força do dinheiro. Os impostos que pagamos deviam servir para também ter acesso a estes museus.

Very nice museum. For 3 euros definitely worth a visit when you have the time and are interested in historic weaponry.

O museu militar dos Açores fica num forte junto à marina de Ponta Delgada. É uma visita interessante. Os preços dos bilhetes são baratos. Ex-combatentes, mediante apresentação do cartão de ex-combatente, têm entrada gratuita.

Los WC están en mantenimiento.La señora de la entrada bastante desagradable, parece que le faltan horas de sueño de la desgana con que hace todo. La voz ni se le entendía.Tenían el datáfono estropeado

Amazing 16th Century fortress, but you might be misled into thinking that Portuguese history in the Azores began with World War I. We were hoping for the early settlement and trade history, which actually began in the early 1400s, and, as rarity, did not involve displaying indigenous peoples. Beautiful views abound.

This is not a museum, its a dump yard for old used army parafenelia. There is absolutely no connection between the different displays, no timeline and no history at all. Maybe some gun freak will be thrilled, while the rest of us are bored to death.

Kann man machen. Etwas wirre Ansammlung an Material, kein wirklicher Leitfaden oder Zeitstrahl. Man könnte mehr draus machen. Super freundlich waren die Soldaten. Wir hatten einen interessanten Austausch.

Não se encontra em muito boas condições, porque o nosso Estado não cuida (nunca há dinheiro para investir neste tipo de coisas). É História, a nossa História, a História dos Portugueses. A visitar, vale a pena!

Porque fui Subdiretor e sei do que falo! Bastante apelativo pelo facto de se encontrar dentro de um Forte quinhentista: o de São Brás, repleto de história! E tem muita variedade de armas de fogo e brancas com respectiva evolução; fardamento, salas temáticas, como por exemplo: do ultramar; da primeira guerra Mundial e das várias especialidades do nosso Exército, tais como, artilharia de costa, artilharia antiaérea, transmissões, engenharia, música, medicina, e outras coisas mais.!!! Aconselho vivamente a visitar.

From the exterior one would never know how extensive this museum is. The 3 euro cost of admission is a steal. You can easily spend a few hours exploring the different sections. Highly recommended for anyone interested in military history

Sehr interessant. Schöne alte Festung mit einer imponierenden Ausstellung. Eintritt 3 Euro die sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt haben.

Super freundliche Begrüßung durch eine Soldatin der portugiesischen Streitkräfte! Eintritt war lediglich 3 EUR pro Person. Die Ausstellung ist empfehlenswert!

Muito material utilizado por ex militares expostos pelo museu todo, alguns já falecidos, com material também cedido pelo próprio exército. Excelente para fotografar tanto no interior como no exterior, um local a visitar. Localização de fácil acesso, estacionamento no exterior pago, não para o museu mas para uma empresa privada.

Prezzo di ingresso molto basso 4 euro per una famiglia di 4 persone.Interesting military fort positioned in front of the sea.Collection of many weapons dating back to both the First World War and the colonization war in Africa. Very low admission ticket 4 euros for a family of 4.

Only 3€ to enter this ancient military base and visit hundreds of used equipments from medical to anti-tank weapons. Leo tells the history of Portuguese African colonization and liberation wars.

Visitei pela primeira vez,achei um museu Pobre num País que tem uma Linda historia Miltar.Falta de Informação (apoio).Devia ser grátis pra os maiores de 65 anos quando fomos nós tambem militares num periodo conturbado da nossa historia miltar (politica)
