Museo Nacional del Cobre - Museum in Paracho de Verduzco, Mexico
Everyone is very kind and friendly, they acknowledge you since you walk in. Very informative and easy to follow the story, a lot of history and hard work from all the staff and local Cooper workers , its their life put into each piece they produce.
Bonita sala audio visual.
Super cool
A must see hands-on experience!
Very nice display of the craft and examples of the copper metal work.
Super cool place to see incredible talent. Looks more like an art exhibition than a museum.
Nice place to see beautiful cupper artcrafts and learn about its history and its making process
Amazing exhibition of copper…EVERYTHING! Beautiful work and history throughout the town. Locals are amazing people also rich in knowledge of their town’s history. Tons of places to enjoy.
Amazing art work! Everything is made from cooper so it will never go to waste..details on the crafts are beautiful. Everything is handmade by the towns people. From pots to vases. An overall great experience from this gem of town.
Wonderful place to.visit
I love copper museums.
Very awesome place, Copper is still worked the old fashioned way
Santa Clara is a great place to visit with the family, you can create more articles for the youth, innovate, in the museum a live show on how you work with the Cooper will be great, you have a lot to work to improve and more visitors will go if you increase your offer of activities and products, have great potential
Its a good place to buy gifts
A 4 star must see while site seeing & shopping in Santa Clara de Cobre
Must see!!! Beautiful pieces and gift shop has the best prices in town.
So much history
Close bummer
Nice
Small display of winning pieces of the local craft: Copper molding. Outstanding handmade work from local artisans. Truth be told, some of them are truly breathtaking.
Beautiful copper working with the lowest prices for quality copper mugs in the area.
Beauty place!
Super super
Its amazing the way these locals work with copper. They really know what they are doing from miniatures up to vases and gigantic cooking pots.
Very nice, beautiful pieces of art. Free to enter
Love the place
Loved the Museum. The attendants were very knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge.
#culture
This was a beautiful traditional town surrounded by green hills covered with michoacan pine trees and amazing stores that sell everything copper.Sadly, there is a dark side to this town, like most towns in Mexico. You will find many starving dogs looking for scraps of food, its a heart breaking sight.Fortunately you can help them, next time you visit Santa Clara del Cobre please bring a bag of dog food and dont hesitate to feed any skinny dog you may run into.
Good presentation of how they work the cobre
Nice place to go for vacations
I like me.
Interesting place
Ok
Amaizing
Is nice
What more can you ask for hand craft beauty. This place sure has its magic and I love the town passing to demonstrate their hard work and appreciation to each unique peace.
Is a beautiful town to visiting with family
Beautiful museum with an open courtyard where they are set up to do demonstrations. Excellent display of art along with some historical photographs that really set the mood.
Michuacan has so many great little towns and Santa Clara del Cobre is one of them specially their museum. We enjoyed looking at some authentic hand made copper works or art.
Good item exhibition. Nice building
GOOD: They have unique pieces of copper from local competitions. They have since small to big sized pieces ## NOTE: You should visit this place during the yearly week of "Feria de Santa Clara del Cobre" in the last week of July, in order to obtain your best choice of copper. You can ask here about shops that buy competitions pieces, so you can go there to buy nice copper pieces.
Extraordinary collection. I think of copper mostly as utilitarian or as something on jewelry. Saw some wonderful fine at pieces here that blew away.
It was a beautiful expirence!
A rather impressive collection/exhibition of the copper work done in Santa Clara del Cobre with incredible mastery.
Great place to buy your copper souvenirs. Good prices!
Cool to see the diversity in design and a bit of history...
