Museo Arqueológico Regional - Museum in Neiva, Colombia
Museo Arqueológico Regional in Neiva
Description
I am really disappointed of this museum and spanish government should be ashamed, it is the first time that I have been to a museum without any English at all. Education it is supposed to have some basic values about sharing knowledge.
MoreIts worth a visit. Interesting roman and visigoth artifacts, mosaics, etc
MoreExcelente museo.... Increíble.... A los niños les ha encantado....
Free entrance and very professional and clear guide, who guided us through the list secrets of ancient times. A thoroughly enjoyable visit.
#imperdible
MoreThe museum was wonderful rich of history of al cala de henares.
Excellent museum
MoreWonderful place to understand the history of Madrid.
Very interesting and free of charge. Beautiful place.
Visited here in the pre-pandemic days...pretty good experience. Friendly and encouraging staff, and a low-key ambience, but houses an important and expansive collection. Spacious and attractive interiors. Not knowing Spanish is a bit of a handicap, but it wasn’t too hard to figure out some basic details about the exhibits. Nice little gift shop with a friendly store owner, and some unique gifts to bring back home. Overall, it’s worth anyone’s time.
MoreA nice quick visit - everything is in Spanish. Amazing building - parking very close by
Morevery interesting, especially the second floor with the idol finds.
This place is so beautiful! I want to go to this place!
Nice place to get some spanish history. Its free and worth to pay a visit
Very interesting and free to visit
Very good material and the building is also grand. Well worth a visit to learn about Spanish Madrileno culture and past
MoreOK
Wonderful
Ok
They will be very glad if you want to leave any historical material of your country . Museum itself is fantastic .
MoreThis museum is pretty good, especially if you are REALLY interested in pre Roman Iberia. If not, and you are looking more for statuary and art from a later period, this is not the best place to go. This being said, I still learned a lot and got to see some fascinating things.
MoreOne of three archaeological museums in the area. On itself a trip throughout the ages, from Prehistory till the late 17th Century. The Renaissance building that contains it, with its frescoes in the domes, is a work of art on its own right. It offers didactic activities for children and adults alike, and truly remarkable temporary exhibitions in its patio every now and then.
MoreVery professional and interesting.
I love this museum. We have been 3 times, each time a new fascinating exhibition.Easy to find but parking nearby might be a problem. There is a concentration on pre-roman archeology and the gift shop is very good.
MoreNice little -and free - museum. Very well done. The signs are all in Spanish so be ready to translate or just enjoy the sights if you dont speak Spanish.
MoreExcellent museum to visit and learn about local and Spanish history.
Nice quiet place. Good exibition on the archeological finds in the area.
Ok
Very interesting museum. Ive learnt a lot about the history of Madrid and the located excavations. Highly recommend to visit for every one who is interested about the spanish history and cultural. And i m sure you will be very satisfied for the time invested
MoreMuseum for ancient artifacts in Alcalas..
Lovely museum. So beautifully set out that translations from Spanish are not needed
MoreThe best Museum in and around Madrid; beautiful building, great paleontological and arqueological collection dating from 400.000 b.c. to medeival age. And: free entrance
MoreSmall but incredible collection of natural history and anthropology of Spain.
Spectacularly laid out and interesting but only provides information in Spanish. Not knowing Spanish would be hard for anyone with English to understand. If the museum could provide a translator device that would be excellent.
MoreSuper
Great regional museum it had a temporary exposition "La colina de los Tigres Dientes de Sable". We took the guided tour the woman was really good explaining to kids.
MoreA nice museum with exhibitions in it
Permanent ehibition is very complete and there are often temporary ones that are extremely informative!
MoreOne good museum in alcala
You need to go when visiting Alcalá de Henares! Reserve around 1 hour of your day to go there and see some fossils from animals found around the city and see the part of the evolution of the civilisation. The entrance is free.
MoreNice displays, including artifacts of the key eras of development in the region with good explanatory materials. Most in Spanish with some English translations. Worth visiting just for the mosaics.
MoreThe admission is free. As is the tour, which is well presented, though only in Castellano. And the well-created exhibits cover pre-historic to modern Spain.
