LOVED IT!!! Murma top was beautiful. I like what I saw. And if youre in Rara, you must go to Murma Top, the view is insaneeeee. You can walk but youll also have horse riding option( their only income).

If you ever go to Rara, then another must visit place is Murma Top. It is a view point of Rara lake. You can see beautiful view of Rara lake from the top, along with different mountain ranges including Saipal himal. The view is so beautiful and breathtaking. I definitely recommend people to visit there. It is around 2 hours of hiking from Rara lake. One can never get enough of this beautiful place.

This heavenly place is approximately 2.5hrs of walk away from Rara lake. Murma top is at the altitude of 3700m and it will greet you with a 360-degree view of the Himalayan ranges and lake itself. You can reach the top of murma in two different ways. From murma village side and army camp or danphe resort side. Murma village side is more difficult because of the steep climb of 2.5hrs whereas the army camp or danphe resort side is less hectic with gradual uphills (personal experience). We walked from the army camp side and returned to the lake via murma village. If you are staying at a hotel around salleri park or near a national park check post then you can start your hike early in the morning to the lake and get a boat and cross the lake towards the army camp and start your walk to the top of Murma.Its a long and tough walk but worth every steps.

Murma top where we can see a full view of rara and we can see also many mountains, which are saipal, kanjiruwa etc,

Murma Top is around one and half hour walk from Murma village, around 2 hours from the lake.From Murma top you will be able to enjoy great views over Rara Lake (in the eastas well as stunningviews towards the south, west and north. The latter direction offering views far into the Tibetan Plateau.This place is must visit hill top when you go to Rara.

The view is at the best it could ever be….Worth every step.✌️

Scintillating and mind blowing view of Rara lake from the hill top. It was a steep climb. We took horse ride from Rara to Murma top and back for almost Rs. 1800 each. A little adventurous and whole lotta fun.

There is a manned radio transmission amplifier station on top of the Murma. I was welcomed with a cup of tea and the fire was lit to beat the heavy cold of March.

A place from where one can have a majestic view of Rara Lake - biggest and deepest fresh water lake of Nepal along with Beautiful Himalayas around and mesmerizing landscapes. The highest view point with view tower from where borders of several districts such as Mugu, Jumla, Humla, Bajhang, Bajura and Kalikot are visible. Murma Top is Two and Half hours walk from hotels of Rara lake and must go place when you visit Rara.

Beautiful Rara lake can be viewed from top of the Murma Top. We can reach murma top after 3 and half hour of trek or 1.5 hour horse riding from rara lake. If you are planning to visit Rara lake then this is the place you must go.

heaven on Earth, dont miss Murma Top while Visiting Rara Lake.it took around 2 hours to reach murma top . wow what a great view of RaRa. full view of RARA can be seen from top. We really enjoyed our hiking from Hotel Heritage To Murma. from top view of seven District can also be seen. No electricity only solar power for light source,cold temperature so can not took photo bcz we didnt have backup on our 📷. want to go Murma top once again and want to float on the beauty of Rara.

It took us 3hrs of uphill trek to reach there but the view was worth every sweat we broke.

The lake Rara looks like a blue nymph, indulged in romance with mountains. In the every afternoon the outstanding snowcapped panorama of Dolpo and Tibetan mountains overshadows the scene across the deep clear waters of the lake.Trekking to this place is highly recommended. All these that you see and where you walk, take place in the Rara National Park, a habitual place for musk deer, Himalayan black bear, leopard, Himalayan goral, Red Panda, and “Danfe” Besides this, the park also abounds with coniferous trees, such as pine, juniper, and spruce.

Breathtaking view of Rara lake. 2 to 3 hrs walk. If you are in Rara, dont miss to visit here.

This is the fantastic place to see whole rara lake from top. It takes areound 3 hours to reach on the top in between there is two village and from top we can see very nice view of mountains Himalayan range including api along with the iconic view of rara lake . In top there is tower for radio nepal and other telecoms and we can find one person who stays there to take care of it if you talk with him nicely he will serve you a cup of black tea.

Just 3hour trek from rara lake and you shouldnot miss this place for visit if you go rara as you can whole rara lake from this hill top.

No one can rate this place below 5 stars. If you are visiting rara then you must reach there to fulfill your trip. You will see the real heaven from here. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach at Murma Top from the lake. If you cant walk continuously for 3 to 4 hours you can take horse and they will charge upto Rs. 2500. Anyhow you should go this place if you are visiting rara otherwise you will miss the most beautiful view of rara.

We found around 200 more visitors in rara lake at that day ... but we two brothers were the only one who went to this place ... those people who says that they have been to RARA and haven’t reached this place then that tour is not worthy at all ...froze this place you can see the complete view of rara lake... people says that it is best when you visit this place during Jan to march...not far away from the hotel u will stay. The only difficulty you will face is, it’s really uphill 😉

Amazing place to see rara lake.You can see the deep blue color of rara lake and an almost 360 view of mountain range.7 districts can be visited at once.Must visit this place if you are going to rara.

If you are visiting rara lake then this is a must visit place. Hiking to this place will take ateast 90 minutes. This path will pass through some village and forest. The view from the top is amazing.

One of the best place to view the Majestic Rara lake at its whole glory. Murma top is 2-3hrs uphill trek from the Rara lake or the hotel you stay at Rara. Basically trekkers and tourist visit this place to see the Rara all at once since you wouldnt be able to see the whole lake from the base of the lake. Since the lake is very large you need to climb uphill to the murma top. In total its 4-6hrs up and down hill trek but the view worth the trek.

We can get the best view of rara lake. Wr have to walk almost 2 hours from rara lake to get to the top.
