Murici beach - Nature reserve in Puke, Albania
Cuki kis beach, a panoráma úton autózva véletlenül láttuk meg a hozzá vezető utat. Jót fürödtünk, alig voltak a parton. Ingyenes.
Beautiful lake, few people, warm water, unfortunately wanting to leave this place, we met an unpleasant man who begged 2€ for parking. We refused and he pulled a shovel from behind the tree and started threatening us with it. By some coincidence, we managed to escape from it.
Great place . But hard drive road Mountain
Only 3 families and a couple cows
Awesome beach, quiet, secluded and picturesque. The only caveat is the extremely rude guy who claims to own a place and asks 2€ for parking or he would call a police or something. We tried to stay and see this “police” thing to come to fruition, but it never did. Yet just like with everything in MNE, if you don’t want to see your car with a flat tires you’d better park somewhere else or give the guy his 2€.
Mediocre beach.Pros: Almost no people (as for September 2021).Cons: As everywhere in Montenegro some random dude appears near your car, as soon as you park and demands 2 euro for parking. Consider this as a contribution to the development of Montenegro, because it is 100% fraud. But if you will not pay, you can and you will find your car with flat tires.
Great place! Go to the nearby beach for a better experience
Great beach, ideal for camping or just realaxing
Great
In the parking, there is a man who is very aggressive, he is thin and had a hat, was a woman there too, I think his wife. Avoid him und avoid the place
Wonderful place. So quiet.
Although we did not get to swim due to cold weather, it was still nice to take a stroll on this secluded and empty beach.
Very nice and beautiful beach. Swimming in the water is awesome. Its also relatively empty. Unfortunately, on the parking lot theres an very aggressive scammer who will basically force you to give him 2€. Hes not the owner of the place and has no right to do so, a fact the people in the restaurant will confirm. Faced with this he will become very aggressive, spit in your face, insult you and threaten violence and issue even death threats ("I will kill you"). This actually happened to me, needless to say it dampened the experience a bit (thats why I gave only 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 5).
Pretty beach. Unfortunately our experience was ruined when we tried to leave. Awful scary man came threatening with a shovel and shouting us to give 2 euros "for parking". Nothing legal in his actions, shameful for the locality. Dont support his scam. Try and park nearer the restaurant where he doesnt dare to operate.
Very raw but special, feels like a forgotten place somewhere near the end of the world.
Murici beach is part of National park Skadar lake. Distance from Podgorica to the Murici is 1:30h trough the village Virpazar. Just follow old road to Ulcinj.
Nice place, beautiful view. Some people ask for 2eur (for parking). Turn left, along the shore there are a free parking at restaurant.
Could be better, at least I expect more
Great location, trip very expensive 😁 parking 2 euro
Beautiful beach with easy possibilities to swim. Parking 2 euros
Best beach on the lake!!!
Amazing place. So peaceful, you can swim in there. Its public
Beautiful place. A must see.
Something different! Wild nature. Wild beach. We did not have a meal. Worth visiting to see such remote area and life. Ignore the loud grumpy boss. ;)
Nice and quiet beach, although the beach was quite dirty when we got there. Thats because people who go dont keep their own gargabe and prefer to leave it behind, showing no respect for nature. Im afraid this is something we encountered quite often on our trip to Montenegro and saddened us.
A secret Dream
Lovley beach. It seemed like a paradise for birds
Very nice place! But two cons:PARKINGWe also had to give 2 Euro for parking... although its not correct.THE BOSSThe owner of the restaurant and accommodation is very unfriendly and strange. He is sitting on a sofa, counts money, smokes with a golden cigarette filter and controls everything. It was a lot to do and the only waiter was really stressed. The boss didnt help. He was just collecting the money from the waiter right after each payment of the guests.
Watch out for the fake and rude “parking lot owner” who asks for 2 euro to park next to the lake.
Very pretty secluded beach with a little restaurant
We were cycling across Montenegro and stopped here in early June despite reading other reviews as we didnt have much choice for other places to stay. Im writing this review to reinforce other reviews and to warn normal holiday goers away from this site. I also hope that the owner may take action if he sees so many poor reviews as the site has potential to be lovely. The lake itself and beach are very pretty and we swam in it. However the water quality is a bit dubious so keep your head above water and make sure you wash with soap afterwards! The (young guyowner of the site was lovely and clearly very busy. He spoke english and was kind to us.There was a big dog chained up next to the toilet facilities. The restaurant was closed. The road to the campsite is poor, with the last 100m or so being across the beach. The road is very steep and rocky in parts. The toilet/washing facilities were terrible. There are two units, one wouldnt lock. They were both very dirty. As other reviews state the shower head is over the hole in the floor and the flush doesnt work. There is another tap outside and that is it. I got sick the next day (for 6 days! And I am confident it was result of the poor facilities at this site. This could be a nice nice, but if you can I would avoid it. Or at least if you do go, take a basin and bleach and rubber gloves!!
We planed to have a lunch here late June 2017 but unfortunately restaurant was closed. Still we were met by owner, he explained that they open in a week or so, that they can offer lodging but not meal at this moment. Even though it was a long slow ride from Virpazar on a narrow winding road and we got no food, it was well worth it. Views from road are amazing and place itself is beautiful. Call them up before you go there to see if they are open.
Amazing view, no crowds and clean water. Highly recommend everyone to visit this place.
Great place in the middle of nowhere.
While the lake itself is beautiful and awesome to swim in, avoid the camp. The only reason why you want to go to any camp are usually shower and maybe internet connection. The first is a combination of poorly maintained Turkish toilet and a shower at the same time (I can take a lot of things, this was horrid though), second wasnt really working at any point. Price of all the misery is 15€. If you have a tent, just set it up little bit down the beach. Youll save yourself some money.
beautiful beach, who loves the lake. No crowds
