Muri Okunola Park - Park in Lagos, Nigeria
Wow perfect and a very nice view, Good for mega event, rallys, wedding and crowded programs
Management need to put security light in most areas of the park. Those touts outside the park need to leave the arena.
Wonderful place to visit for picnic, Just like a park in the western world.
Its not a big park and not as cool as its been hyped....... Its a bit unkept also. I came for a friends birthday picnic and I wasnt really impressed with the park as it has been over hyped..... But the picnic was amazing with nice set up and DJ giving us evening vibes
Nice setting, but I feel like there should be sitting areas. Its called a park!
Its a typical park. Lovely ambience and seats too. Dunno if things are sold here on a normal day, I went for an event there
Great place to relax, have garden parties, shows and events
Its amazing looking forward to going there again 🥰
Elegant , poise and spaciousGood for a great concert , and very calm atmosphere
Its just a fun park. I go there cos of events and I always have a good time. Beautiful spaced surrounded by nature. Lots of greens, that I like.
Had an event here and it was nice. The bar is quite expensive than fair though, however, the ambience of the center makes up for some inadequacies
Its a beautiful place, the field and the art is nice .. but there isnt so much to explore, if Youre an adventurous person..
Its a beautiful park located at V. I. If youre coming from obalende, cms or ajah, just stop at law school bustop am walk in the street after the bustop. Its a cool spot to hangout with friends and family, host concerts, picnics etc. Theres no gate fee to enter the park. Make music Lagos 2022 was held at the park and it was a beautiful experience.
A nice and spacious environment for picnics, hangouts and parties. The officials were security conscious which was good. It has a public toilet (wasn’t clean and wasn’t in a good condition)
A serene atmosphere to relax and have fun with your loved ones, especially the movie in the park monthly editions, a caveat though, you should go with your food and water, and dont expect to win giveaways its always a in-house thingy.
Parking space is really a problem that need to be addressed because a lot of people who came with their cars ha r to park outside and which does not really make sense to me. I would rather suggest you book an Uber and when you are done you also book an Uber to take you home.
The park is accessible, quiet, with hints of car noises from the bridge besides it. It is good for a hangout, get-together, a small birthday soiree of 10 - 15 people, if it is more than that, there is a sum of money attached to it. The grass is no longer lush green, Lagos State needs to renovate and plan sustainable ways to keep the park from dying. There is a parking space inside the park but it is not for a lot of cars, it should be able to accommodate 20 cars or a little more. The park is safe but there is a number of area boys who loiter outside the park.
One of the several parks in Lagos State, this is also one of the biggest parks we have and oftentimes people host events here for its spacious capacity and scenery.Weddings, Festival, Fashion Events, Themed parties and the likes are activities you can find happening here. It’s almost always bubbly throughout the year.My last visit was in December 2021 for the Ofada day. Lots to eat and drink and so much fun too.Celebrities graced the day and different food and drinks brands were present too.Looking for a nice place to just chill or hangout with friends, Muri Okunola is a nice destination if you’re in Lagos, especially on island.Ensure to adhere to all Covid-19 protocols if visiting.
Very nice and spacious environment, suitable for outdoor events.
This place is the hub for events in Lagos , it is very conducive especially in December. In December 2021 several activities took place such as Johnnys room live, Lagos food fest, Palm wine festival to mention a few. Whenever you are here and especially if it is late at night make sure to be security conscious .
Nice spot to hangout in with your friends and family. You can also enjoy live shows and events
The park is neat and nice. The Lagos Food Fest was held there. The event was fun and the environment was great.
Muri Okunola Park is a good place to host events.Ensure to make arrangements for parking. I had to pay 1500 for that purpose.
It was fantastic. Garden/field showed high level of good maintenance
This is a park utilized for several kind of outdoor events. From cook outs to music festivals, shopping events, weddings and more.It is serene
You need a picnic location, then you have the right location..Best location for both;PicnicConcertsFun fairExhibition etc
Ive been here for a couple of events and its quite amazing how it can be transformed. It would look one way for one event and look completely different for another. But for 2 magical years it was the venue for Palmwine Festival by the Rap Duo - Show Dem Camp. And its always EpicDope spot!!!
Cool and serene. The park is quite spacious with a nice view. Cute flowers and comfortable seats. It is good enough to be used for taking pictures
During the day its buzzing and traffic around the area is quite not so bad.Beautiful view to chill and relax. The trees and landscape gives you a pleasant view you wouldnt want to leave. At night it gives an amazing vibe and time to chill and enjoy nature, but if youre going to host any event here, your security should be super tight especially at night and finally be super equipped just in case of an emergency.
Nice park for taking pictures. Nobody really bugs you. Just be ready with a little gate fee and you can be there all day. Took my pre wedding pictures here 🥰
A mainland babe like Seyi4mi cant travel down to lekki and visit one spotMbok its impossicant!!!Is it the traffic abi the T fare back home when yall know all the beautiful and fun places are on the islandI got to visit MURI OKUNOLA PARKIts a good place to host an event, photoshoot, picnic infact an outdoor wedding was been held as at the time of my visit this afternoon. The park is less noisy, spacious and you can order for drinks (see pictures below)Gate fee : Free its a park lolLocation : Law school Victoria Island.
The park is a cool place to relax in the afternoon probably at break time from work. The environment is also good for taking beautiful photo shoot but you will pay a token.Children can also come and play as theres plenty space for them to run around.
Nice park and spacious. It doesnt have a parking space, you have to park by the road and trust me it needs mentainance especially the toilets. Its a nice place to hangout
Has a nice vibe to it. Its a perfect spot for picnics, and also a nice place to relax and take pics. It has a good scenery as well. The noise of cars around may be a problem for you if youre not a fan.
This is one if the most popular spots in Lagos for outdoor events. Individuals can also come around for relaxation and wont be charged for entering.
I passed by this bridge for years and I didn’t know there was a thriving fish market right underneath. It was a serendipitous encounter, hard working women going about their businesses, an array of all sorts of exotic fishes. I managed to capture a few pictures and moments.
A great place to have outdoor events; both day and night. The space allows you to bring your creativity and imagination to life. Depending on the event, tents can be set up especially now that the rains are here. Its not hard to miss as its in the heart of Victoria Island with an entrance opposite Adeola Hopewell.
On this Island called Victoria seats Muri Okunola Park, more like a private public park, its a cool space for mini auctions, open air parties, weddings and events that is not having lots of people coming around, in all Muri Okunola Park have a nice and peaceful environment not hard to locate from the law school, beside the road. Wonderful environment!
It is a nice and lovely park. Can be used to host any kind of event. Series of events are been held here on a frequent basis. The park is well cared for. Carpet grasses are well trimmed and watered properly. You have a lot of sitting areas in the park where you could sit comfortably to eat your food. The park is very wide and large. Everywhere is wheelchair accessible. Entrance too is accessible. There is also a large sheltered areas located in park. The park is also children friendly, family friendly and group friendly. The kids would definitely have a nice time playing all around the park as there is much they can do around. You have a lot of food vendors at the park ranging from grill cocktails, chops, smoothies grill tents etc. Security was tight as the event i attended brought in their private security. I cant say much about the security of the park itself. Cars are parked just outside right in front of the park.I enjoyed my visit to the park and I would definitely visit again.
Now this is a Park , you want to go relax , Yes . You want to hangout with a date , Yes . You want an open space for an event of any capacity, Yes. Love going here , Really
I want for Johnny drilles concert - Johnnys Room love at Muri Okunola Park and it was a nice experience, security, sound, fun everything was 100... I can only speak about Muri Okunola bases on this concert.
Lovely park with enough space for large events or concerts. No official parking space around though so you have to park your vehicle by the road side which would cost a token depending on the attendant you converse with and remember its at owners risk. Couldnt find any restroom though so Im not sure if theres one available.
Perhaps due to the wear and tear of time, I didnt think the park was well cared for like it was hyped to be. It was clean but could be better. The security men were quite helpful when we needed to park. The lawn was lush and green but the pillars looked quite untidy, which could be from many posters or banners stuck on them. The area where the abstract statue of a mother and child is was littered with benches, hanging clothes and some untidy materials. The statue was a welcome sight, Truly beautiful. The other half of the park from where the statue of Muri Okunola is to the restaurant, seemed to be more lively and picturesque. On the whole, it is a good place to relax, walk, photoshoot, hold events etc. However, no parking space is designated for the park. However, still recommended being a central spot in the Victoria Island location.
Great park and exposure while visiting for the first time today. It was a very serene environment with cool ambience. Lots of fun you can create for yourself within while also watching others having their fun. And I look forward to visiting more often and hosting a great get together in here as well.
I went there for a concert. It was quite chilled there and it was fun and easy to locate. There was sitting space, tho not enough because I couldnt sit down but then it was cool. I enjoyed myself.
Muri Okunola Park is on a bright save location with a mix of colors to lighten you up whenever you visit. This is an ideal location for a quiet getaway with loved ones. It is also an ideal place to visit to escape from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. Also, events like festivals, wedding ceremonies and the occasional video shoot take place to make for an even more eventful time at the park. This is a serene environment that you can come on a weekend, relax and feel safe after a very long week. It is also good for family bonding.
Nice park! Lots of space to host small events and receptions. The location is also very neat and serene.
Its a very peace atmosphere in the park, named after late Justice Muri Okunola. Its an outdoor spot for entertaining guests to different kinds of fun. Its also been used as an awareness park, where a whole lot of people come in to sensitize the citizenry of various happenings. Its a large space for having a weekend getaway.
I thought to do something spontaneous and visit the park for the sake of visiting and no regrets. If you are looking for a quiet place to sit and relax, you definitely can do so here. I imagine the best day to do so is Sunday, when there isnt that much of noise pollution to disrupt the serenity of the park. The park can do with more attractions, besides the sculpture erected here (which is the centre-piece of the park, at least for those who appreciate art), there isnt that much to look forward to.Definitely a well maintained park for all sorts of events, from weddings, photography, concerts, parties, etc.
Had my outdoor wedding reception here. It was such a beautiful scenery and ambience. We had the whole park for the entire day and it give our guests the flexibility to create their own space n have fun. 💃💜💯
