Mind blowing experience...seeing the Murchison Falls 💕...Murchison Falls National Park is famously known for having the most powerful waterfall in the world, where the longest river in the world squeezes through a 7-meter gap and then drops down 45 meters.

It is an amazing place to be in. I love the serenity of the falls most and am glad it was not touched. Variety Of birds and animals. Plus affordable activities and vehicle especially provided by Uganda wildlife authority.

Absolutely flawless experience. This was my first time in Africa and I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guides (Shout out to Francis and Warren), better weather, or living spaces. Beautiful and serene. Worth paying a visit. A drive through the park and youll see elephants, warthogs, antelopes, chimpanzees and buffaloes,crocodiles, hippopotamus, lions, giraffes, a lot of them, The road is very good, up to and very very easy to reach there, a lovely view of the Nile as it treks through the park, a beautiful sunsetMostly attractions things are there to top fallsYou must watch, very good place what force are there, good tour experienceThanks a lot

It has various tourist attractions for example top of the falls, mammals, birds, bottom of the falls and so much rich in biodiversity

Variety of flora and fauna. Best seen at dawn.The roads in the park have been upgraded to asphalt, so its motorable in all weather conditions and by non-4x4 cars now.

Spectacular falls and some great game viewing. I was lucky enough to see lion leopard and hyena as well as all the rest youd expect. Good birding too.

Together with the adjacent 748 square kilometres (289 sq miBugungu Wildlife Reserve and the 720 square kilometres (280 sq miKaruma Wildlife Reserve, the park forms the Murchison FallsThe park straddles the Ugandan districts of Buliisa, Nwoya, Kiryandongo, and Masindi.[2] The driving distance from Masindi, the nearest large town, to the Kibanda area of the national park is about 72 kilometres (45 mi).[4] This area is about 283 kilometres (176 mi), by road, north-west of Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda.[5] The coordinates of the park near the Kibanda area are 02°1115.0"N, 31°4653.0"E (Latitude:2.187499; Longitude:31.781400The explorers John Speke and James Grant were the first Europeans to visit the present day MFCA in 1862. It was more thoroughly explored by Samuel and Florence Baker in 1863–4. Baker named the falls Murchison Falls after the geologist Roderick Murchison, then the president of the Royal Geographical Society.[7]Between 1907 and 1912, the inhabitants of an area of about 13,000 square kilometres (5,000 sq miwere evacuated due to sleeping sickness spread by tsetse flies. In 1910, the Bunyoro Game Reserve was created south of the River Nile. That area roughly corresponds to the part of the MFNP that is in the districts of Buliisa, Masindi, and Kiryandongo. In 1928, the boundaries were extended north of the river into the modern-day Nwoya District.[3]In 1952, the British administration established the National Parks Act of Uganda. The area described above became Murchison Falls National Park.[3]The park is the location of the Murchison Falls, where the waters of the Nile flow through a narrow gorge only 7 metres (23 ftwide before plunging 43 metres (141 ft).Also in the park, adjacent to the Masindi-Gulu Highway, are the Karuma Falls, the location of the 600 megawatt Karuma Power Station, which will be Ugandas largest power station when it comes online circa 2022.[8]MFCA and the adjacent Bugondo Forest Reserve have 76 species of mammals as well as Ugandas largest population of Nile crocodiles. There are 450 known bird species in the park, including the rare shoe-billed stork, dwarf kingfisher, Goliath heron, white-thighed hornbill and great blue turaco.[9]Since 2005, the protected area is considered a Lion Conservation Unit.[10] In 2010, it was estimated that only 250 giraffes were in the park. A population of 37 Rothschilds giraffes was transferred from the north side of the Nile River to the south side in 2016 and 2017, when population was around 1,500.[

The voice of water is very good ... Very Fast Speed of the water dont go too close as it can take you.Make sure you carry umbrella or rain clothes if you want to go top of the fall.You will feel relax while just spending few minutes at Above the Fall of Murchison Falls.

Indeed Its the largest national park in Uganda, its worth a visit and the falls are just amazing to look at. It has a wide range of wild animals you can see on a game drive

Amazing waterfall with so much water. Top of the fall which is located 24 km from the bridge in the north part of the park and 12 km after branching off (both asphalt roadis a must. You can feel the power of the fall by being splashed and soaked wet, yet pleasantly fun experience. You can park the car and reach to the top of fall by just 5 minutes walk, free of charge. There is a walk with 10 usd if you like go into woods too. Game drive is in the northern part of the park only and where all lodges inside park located. Stopped by at Red Chilly for a friendly staff with refreshing food. With glasses being high in October, not easy to see animals but still a fun drive.

it is an expectional place with incredible animal diversity. the famous Marchison Falls are of extraordinary beauty. it is the ideal place to share holidays with family or friends.A few years ago, a large oil deposit was discovered under Lake Albert which is also located in Murchison Falls Park. Since then impressive roads are under construction in this park and intense industrial activity is being developed. It remains to know what impact human activities will have on the flora and fauna of this wonderful park.

Wonderful place in Uganda, majestic waterfalls and variety of flora and fauna make this place a real gem. Try to visit this amazing park as soon as possible because there is already a lots of constructions ongoing (dam and oli platforms ;( )

U wanna get out there as early in d morning as possible. You get to see d animals on their morning run b4 d sun comes up. To cover d breadth of d park go in via 1 gate cross d river see d falls and exit via the gate at d other end.

Its gorgeous, I recommend to go with someone who is from Uganda. For pricing and convenience. Theres a lot of wildlife, so its also fun to learn about the animals and the culture. Safari and boat ride. Also, eat at the restaurant located in the park. The food was phenomenal. I would love to go back.

Nice park. Well maintained. Saw a lot of game but lots of traffic and the local guides got out of the car just 5 meters from where a lion was lying. Many times guys were climbing out during sightings and they dont sich off their vehicles so in a video youll always have a diesel engine running as a soundtrack. Very annoying.

This is the biggest national Park in uganda.it was divided into the northern and southern region.the two are separated by the Albert Nile.I enjoyed my game driving,bird watching, hiking and the boat cruise.For any traveller I would recommend this park because their is so much to enjoy.

The view for the falls is not great from bottom and ride to view is long and boring, we saw am elephant from a far distance due the shallow water which annoying because we were promised a lot of them. However the park was great, but we did not get to see the Lions and leopards

Worlds longest river passing through a six ft fall was incredible to see. The boat ride to waterfall was a wonderful experience. Saw lions, elephants, hyenas, leopard, Buffaloes, crocodiles, hippopotamus, baboons, giraffe, kingfisher, and many other beautiful animals along the way. Must visit!

Its really the park to visit in Uganda. The landscape is very beautiful. We have enjoyed the games drive and the chimpanzees tracking we did there.

Had I good time in the park, the game rangers at the entrances and within the park were really good at us. For any case please observe the speed limit (40 Km/Hras the tracks have gravel which make them sliperly on the edges

If you ever find yourself in Uganda, this is a must place to visit. The river cruise is one of those that you have to do. The amount of animals you’d see on this little boat ride rivals to most safari drives. And the falls itself is magnificent! the amount of water that pours thru it is incredible! But seeing a wild elephant drinking by the river up close from the river was just the mind blown moment and the highlight of the whole trip.

Lovely place indeed...tough to explain by words...this needs to be felt. You can either go by Nile river or go by roads to reach the peak of the falls....amazing falls....If you are interested in seeing lot of animals and birds, it is better to go by river...roughly 1.5 hours of journey... To reach the closest bank of falls...you need to treck from there to go falls top...apparently you can see two falls over there..dont miss it when you go to Uganda...

A huge park with lots of opportunity to see some of Africas prized mammals, reptiles, and birds. We did a morning game drive and saw giraffes, water buffalo, the four kinds of antelope there, warthogs, a hyena, two types of monkeys, hippos, crested cranes, and got up close to several elephants. On our afternoon boat ride we had an excellent guide and saw numerous species of birds, crocodiles, many more hippos, and the Parks namesake, Murchison Falls. I recommend a smaller tour boat if possible as it can approach more closely to the more skittish species.

Amazing Safari experience by vehicle and boat as the photos demonstrate. Also saw many giraffes, elephants, a wide variety of deer and antelope, cape buffalo, crocodiles, and many other birds and animals. Highly recommended!

Its fantastic experience with the park, falls, the boat going around all animals, and the great falls top of it... really a great experience worth taking it. It can be done in 24 hours but it will be little tiring, 48 hours are better specially if you can enjoy your time at the top of the falls for long time as well doing early morning boat, early morning and sunset game drive.

It struck awe in us! The magnificence of the views, the savannah, the lake, the Nile. And then the animals - incredible! Hundreds of giraffe, dozens of elephants and hippos and crocs (do the Nile River guided cruise), and scores of Hart, Oribi, Cobbs, water buffalo, warthogs, birds and bird and birds...! And LIONS. The jaguar and hyenas eluded us however, but you would need more than a 3-day trek for time to spot that, we were told.Stay in Pakuba Lodge... fantastic - rustic enough to feel authentic and animals roam right up to the buildings! A good view of the sunset. Very comfortable facilities with a/c, very clean and spacious rooms, excellent food. (Limited wifi and interior lighting however, but youre there for animals, so who needs too much electricity!)

Wow. One of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. Amazing views from the top of the falls. Our guide was very knowledgable and patient with the group members who were a little slower than the rest. Definitely bring plenty of water because although the hike is short in distance, there are many stairs and if the sun is out, there is not much shade. Regardless, the trek was well worth the view.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Treated to seeing Lions, elephants and giaraffes! Loads of animals in the park. Beautiful Nile backdrop. The falls are an impressive afternoon river cruise.

Saw some good wildlife on the boat safari which is 2 hours long to the falls and 1 hour back to the start. We hiked up to the falls to realise that we could have just driven there without doing the boat safari which was the main reason for the visit
