Municipal Garden in Madgaon

So peaceful and beautiful garden.. must visit.. flowery plants are also here.. I saw some unique plants here which I never seen before.. so nice 👍🙂

Overall garden is beautiful but they should maintain clean public washroom...... condition was kinda hell dirty 🤢🤮 ...... Please do the needful 🛑🛑🛑

Beautiful calm garden with green grass, fountain & varieties of flowers located at madgaon old market. Very well maintained. We spent 1 hour for relaxation.Benches to sit around.Good for photography & children. You can find few restaurants nearby or go for shopping.

We can say its lungs of the margao, greenary in the heart of the city.

Although I havent been inside recently still looks good from outside.As a kid I used to love playing in this garden. Remember listening to music through the loud speaker and also the news. 😊😀😄

Beautiful garden to relax, good for children to play. I used to take my daughter to this garden for her to play when she was a kid.

The place is blessed with greenery.... Atleast something thats preserved by the authorities.... Yet its hardly maintained....Youll find some of the structures built here are broken.... Even you cant sit due to the dirty and broken concrete....A great place for a good stroll or job.... Keeps you fresh and happy.... Not really recommended for any family picnics or whatsoever....

Good place to hang out. Good benches to sit. The air is a little stuffy because of the traffic on all surrounding sides. Play park for kids is a bit outdated and needs rethinking. The public restroom is clean and odourless (atleast when i used it last). You could have a picnic if you can ignore the traffic sounds around. Also the watercourse is dirty and needs to be paid attention to.

This is the Land mark of Margaon and Margaon is a beautiful and safe city compare to north goa and colv is a beautiful beach there is no nuncense people and police is there 24x7 for yout safty in margaon few hotels are very good like Sharada classic,Kandil Ranche Ghar,All akbar and you must visit once at Harman Chaywala for tea

As there is no proper transport facility available....also the market is very high pricing...so i would suggest you that please dont stay in old but there is many church to visit so just take bike or car on rent and visit all famous church..

This has always been my favourite place for relaxing when waiting for the shops to open in the morning. Have taken some nice pictures here of flowers. Good meeting place. 35 years back use to read under the streetlights. Needs some improvement and partly always closed for maintenance. Still love it here.

If you want to kill time if you Have some work in margao, this is the place to go, however if there are children with you, the other side is open only after 1700 hrs.

This was a well maintained public garden once, visited regularly with cousins and friends here, had a good timeAlso enjoyed the live orchestra during Shri Ganesh festivalThis need to be maintained well to restore its essence heading back to 80s.Still a nice place to visit, if your have an appointment at a later part of day and you happen to arrive early, can spend some time here.

This municipal garden was constructed during portuguese regime by camara municipal de Margao around 75 years back, In those days various types of flower plants were grown which were brought from Europe. This is the only beautiful garden where one can sit on compound where nice and neat benches are provided . Throughout the day one can see people seating on such benches . Especially Margao population prefer to sit outside instead of sitting inside . Inside the gsrden there are many fine benches placed under trees for shade ans some near near beautiful flowers plants.. To entertain public songs also are played with loudspeaker., To me I always like to have at_least one round whenever I happen to be there ,
