Se mantiene muy limpio

Bonito lugar para relajarse y tener contacto con la naturaleza, un poco abandonado por la municipalidad pero que podemos esperar de la corrupción, solo nos queda como Guatemaltecos conservar estos bellos lugares y enseñarle a nuestros hijos a cuidarlos, excelente vista en el mirador

Un lugar muy amplio, me gustó la experiencia, tiene buena vista y lindo

Es un parque municipal con vista a la ciudad de xela, en general está bien aunque un poco descuidado (tanto el parque como el caminocuenta con un resbaladero "gigante", juegos infantiles, churrasqueras, unos kioskos para utilizar y hay ventas.El bosque y la montaña son bonitos.

Is a place with out the necessary attention, probably youll not feel entirely secure there but trust me is very difficult that something bad happening.Edit 021522If you want to visit it, I recommend to do it using Uber because the hill climb is too silent and the best way to avoid a scare for me is ubering.

Great place to do exercise

This was a great hike in Xela that provided an amazing view of the city below! Although the walking trails were a bit hard to find, the view from the top was worth it! Be sure to bring a jacket as it can get chilly!

Great view from above! If you want to take a walk, breath clean air! Walk your dog, wonderful experience! Highly recommended!

Easy hike up, but diiiirrrrty. Trash was everywhere. Looks like an abandoned theme park. There were a few cops patrolling around too, so Im guessing some shady stuff happens up here. Good view of Xela though. Worth it... once.

Nature meets men here. Come here if you want to have a small hike and some woods to check. At your own risk tho, mugs and rapings are around the corner. Visit Xela, amirite?

Muy buena vista desde este cerro para ver toda la ciudad y los bosques alrededor, si no tienes tiempo y condición debes usar auto... A pie la subida esta pesada y si vas con niños caminando olvídalo.Arriba pasas un buen momento y no olvides tomar fotos desde sus miradores.

Great place to let the kids run around and use the public slides. Kids had a great time!

Awesome morning hike. Be sure to take the hiking trail to the top from the bottom church. Seemed very safe. From the bottom it takes about 30 minutes to hike. Be careful taking google directions. It can lead up through some private propertys with very mean protective dogs.

Lovely place to share time with the nature and family, friendly locals selling food, easy hike no more that 25mins, dont forget to take the shortcut otherwise you will walk 2 hrs.

The slides are the best. Bring some cardboard or plastic 2 liter bottles to slide on.

Parque municipal con áreas de juegos, mirador y ventas de comida. El acceso está en mal estado. Tiene una buena vista hacia el oeste de toda la ciudad de Quetzaltenango. Carece de servicios sanitarios.

Grate food

This place is good to go, a lot of green, however be safe... It can be a targeted place, but if you are in a big group, you will get along and have fun :)

The sunset from that height is amazing. My friends and I picnic and close the Sabbath there. Loved it

The best place

A very special place for Xela. Place to walk, do exercise and enjoy the view of the city from the hill

Lovely hike up, although a nice family with a pick up truck drove us up most in the way. Especially nice on Sunday when theres food and loads of families picnicking and bbqing. View is gorgeous.

A place to go for a morning hike there are these awesome concrete slides once you reach the top and beautiful view of all of Xela, but please only go in morning and with a friend, there has been a history of muggings and that have happened in past on top of Baul.

Visit on Sundays, they have food, a lot of people, kids, nice place to go for a hike/jog.

This is a short enough walk or drive. It gives decent views of Xela. If you have a few hours spare its worth doing but dont do this instead of 1 of the bigger volcanoes.
