Venerable park featuring picturesque botanical gardens, an animal park & a wildlife sanctuary.
Beautiful Place, It Brings Back Old Memories
Its a cool nice place. Ideal place for relaxation
munda wanga was ok but just disappointed on how they are running it as compared when I came as a kid..the place is no longer how it used to be..this time it looks dirty
Its nice place to be at if you are a love of nature and wildlife π¦π¦π
Its good for family outings while enjoying the natural habitat with the animal species such as lions, impalas, waterbuck, wild pigs, crocodiles, ostriches, eagles, porcupines etc. The general standard for the place has gone down however.
You will experience the joy of seeing real animals in real life when you visit.
It is not properly maintained. Very disorganized like an abandoned place. With very few animals
The place needs a serious facelift including more animals
The place is getting better there is need to improve with infrastructure and more different animals.
Its a nice place to view botanical Gardens and wildlife.
It was amazing its a cool place to be at.
This place is great π!! I enjoyed the tour more especially going inside the cheetahs π cage lol !! I enjoyed the view..
Lots of animals to see and learn about, but not a very clean environment nor relaxing. Maintained poorly.
A very nice and adventurous place especially for kids an couples on a date.
The place is Good to see wildlife animal in a close range
Well a bit of disappointing. Went with high expectations but the stock of animals was poor. It used to be much better with plenty of animals. Authorities need to invest on it.
Had a wonderful day with my little one..just being surrounded by nature is refreshing.. The place needs a face lift though.
Very nice with a lot of wild animals to view.
Nice although the place looks very old
Its a nice place to go chill with your familyThe place wasnt too crowded it been a public holiday butOne, bring in more animals I felt betrayed to see goats and they are the first ones you see awe naimweh BA mundawanga and also have people that can tell us about the animals like if they have names and when they came there unlike just walking and looking at them with no one to explain or answer questions to the children and even us adultsWe were told to come at 14 to see the lions for the staff to only go feed them from far away from where we cold seethen we couldnt see them anymore maybe also have someone be making them do interesting thing for us to watchI also didnt like the fact that we were told swimming is in the entrance fee to only be told we need to pay extra to swim when we got to the pool when just a day before I was told something elseother than that its a nice place maybe Ill come back
Infrastructure needs improvement, otherwise it could be a great place to visit often.
Botanical gardens very nice to stroll through. The zoo has a decent amount of animals but the maintenance and upkeep of the place deyers from the overall appearance.
Day two @Munda Wanga ParkπLusakaπΏπ²ππΏπ² Zambia, so beautiful and clean and good environment I Ben I really love this parkππππΉβ€οΈπ
They really have to improve the garden and service the kids play area. Most of the swings are broken. Otherwise the kids will love it especially the animal section
This is a very beautiful environmental area. But it is in dire need of a lot of maintenance.Thank you to all the keepers.I am not sure what was happening today but the group of teenagers really had a great time today.
The place really need to be attention...because the dirty there is too much .it looks like an abandoned place and dont even think they feed the animals there.i personally think the owners of that place should partner with a private company or something, that place can be a very good source of income if it is cleaned and maintained properlyπ
it was nice love their gardens and the animals too
We went there with no expectations, but were very positively surprised! For 30 KW you can wisit the zoo, botanical garden, swimming pool, picnic area. On weekends around 2PM you can observe feeding of the cats - lions and cheetah. Zebra, puku, waterbuck etc stroll around the area freely. Its not posh, but very enjoyable indeed!
Really wonderful place near Lusaka! For 30 Kw per person you see lions, antilopes, monkeys, zebras and dozen of crocodiles. And weekends be there at 2PM to see how young and old lions fight for food. Also, there is beautiful garden, where you can have a rest during sunny day!
Place needs maintainance.Animals look miserable, birds are locked up in cages(some birds are locked alone without a partnerbasically the place where animals are kept needs serious "renovation".Pools are filthy. The botanical gardens is the only good part about the place
Very interesting and its a better place to be
The place is good though it looks like its been neglected and a lot more work has to be done to improve the status of the place and that of the animals and also add some more of animal variety
Its a very fine place to be at with family theres a picnic area and various animals like lions, leopards π tortoises lots of them kids play area and swimming pool the good part is you can bring your own beverages and food stuff.
Beautiful place with a very relaxing environment and reliable tour guide
Munda Wanga is still really fun. The botany is beautiful, the swimming pool is daring and the animals (over 20 speciesare a sight to behold.
Good old place but I felt they are not maintaining it as before.
Not so many animals in the park and its almost a dull experience with no rare sightings. The park could also improvise a little by including interesting animal activities.
It was a fun experience, quiet environment good for family picnics etc. However, more needs to be done to lively up the place ie improve (modernizethe infrastructure, repair broken furniture etc. Otherwise Munda Wanga has great potential for local and foreign tourism.
You can tell that at one point this was a great attraction. However it is in poor condition with many of the animal enclosures needing significant attention.
Perfect for the kids. Needs some serious tlc maintenance but for K15 for kids and K30 for adults, the place is a great intro to our wildlife. Recommend having a guide.
Quiet and nice place to relax with family or friends.
Perfect place for family outings, picnics, parties and game viewing. It offers a natural feel with its natural environment.I just love it here π
While the park has become run down attempts are being made to improve it. The animals appear in good condition and well fed and most have adequate space to roam, although there is lots of rubbish everywhere. It is well worth going on the 2pm guided tour to get a better idea of what is going on. There needs to be much more invested into the park, it could be an outstanding attraction with better maintenance and management.
Nice place to visit. Can go with friends and familyLot of animals are there even lionπ zebra, Empala, crocodiles, duck, monkey, baboons, donkeys and many more the park was good swimming pool also there..Over all nice places to go on weekend.A bit crowded.. I enjoyed a lot but that walk inside the park make me tired π Not very far from Town50 Kwacha entrance fee for foreigner ppl30 Kwacha for local ppl
Quiet and good place to relax with your family or as a tourist. Swimming Pool, Beautiful Gardens, Stream and a Variety of animals including Lions are available here. Approximately 20 Minutes drive from Lusaka CBD
You can see the animals in their natural habitat and theyre massive
Despite the friendly staff, everything else is pathetic. The toilets, shortage of tour guides, lack of descriptive info on animal cages, lack of animals (which is my main area of disappointmentetc.. Can write a whole lot but am preparing my disappointment letter to the management and the Ministry in charge.
The place is no longer maintained which is sad because it used to be an amazing park. Some nice animals are still there
A beautiful place in Zambia near Lusaka. It should not be missed if you are Lusaka, Zambia. It contains a very well maintained zoo, horticultural farm, fossil section and many sections inside the park. The guides are well-trained over there and many Americans and Europeans come over there for research. You can sight many varieties of birds even naturally over there. Its a must visit for those staying or visiting in or nearby Lusaka, Zambia.
This park is amazing..... I love it very much... They have a good number of animals..... They also have game viewing..... They are animals like lions π¦π¦wild birds ππmonkeys ππ and many other animals.... The price is cheap and fair..... You can visit this x-mas and experience the best moments in life with friends or family or with a date
