September the 10th 2022 we came here for breakfast the pancakes in the picture were the biggest pancakes I have ever seen and the best tasting they were at least 10 inches in diameter eachIf you really hungry for breakfast this is the place to be. you get good value for your money. and it tastes good too.

We found exactly what we were looking for at this restaurant: a home-cooked-eggs-potatoes-and-bacon breakfast. And they serve breakfast all day. The service was *super* efficient while also very friendly, my over-medium eggs were actually over-medium, the coffee was decent if not superb, and there were plastic dividers separating the tables for Covid protection. If I didnt have celiac I could have ordered perogies (which I loveas a side instead of the delicious chunky potato pan- fries I had. I wish i could give Mums a 4.5 rating. The only reasons I dont give this restaurant 5 stars is that the ambience was very busy with morning traffic and not as restful as I would prefer (not Mums fault, but still entered into my enjoyment of the placeand the bacon was soggy, not crispy. I would definitely return, however, and make a point of asking for crispy bacon.

Best Clubhouse Ive ever had! No processed meat, it was the real deal. Fries were hot and crisp. Service was great too

Cute place! Friendly staff, good food for a good price. It was busy but we got our food fast and hot. Coffee was re filled without asking and we were constantly taken care of.

food was amazing but service wasnt great. the two front staff made us feel like a nuisance and unwelcome until a new blonde worker came out and gave us a sweet smile and coffee. probably wont be back.

The servings used to be hearty. Ordered breakfast waffle and a slice of ham for $10.29, got 3 frozen eggo waffles and a slice of ham about half the size of my palm. What a waste of money.I think the quality and service has gone down hill.Wont be returning.

Slow service. When the food came, it wasnt what we had asked for, the server didnt mind taking it back but you could hear the kitchen yelling about it. Pretty expensive for what it was. Probably wont return

I had the Reuben sandwich with fries. My wife had a small breakfast. We are not impressed with the food at all. If you like your food saturated with grease (deep fried, you are at the right place. My sandwich was small with little corned beef and to make up for it my plate was filled with fries that looked good, but I prefer my fries crispy. The corned beef was tasty but very rubbery. Coleslaw was the only thing descent on my plate. My wifes breakfast plate was saturated with deep fryer grease. The place was clean and the service was good, thats the reason I gave the place 3 stars.Not impressed, do not recommend, not ever going back.

Three stars for the food but -2 for the service.Meals were delicious, however our waiter was very rude, brought out the wrong food and refused to replace our order (even though we didn’t even touch it definitely will not be back because of the unpleasant service

Went here for lunch and had the Mac & cheese which was fantastic and the soup and salads that came out looked very good. I noticed people were having trouble reading the debit card machine and when it was my turn to pay the screen is so scratched up that you can barely read it. Would suggest upgrading it.

Experience was good food was great. Place was packed and had a waiting list. Small cozy place to enjoy a great meal. Servers where nice and where perfessional. I would definitely enjoy breakfast here again..

There food is always good and quick..get there early, its not that big of a place. I had salad and soup for lunch.

I was going to come here after work to have breakfast with my family but given the verbal abuse given by the owner for not having a bigger delivery bag (large orderI think Ill steer clear of an establishment that treats people in a harmful manner.

Was once our go to place for breakfast. This restaurant has sure gone downhill. Asked for overeasy eggs they were hard, hashbrowns were undercooked, see through bacon was curled up and burnt. Etc etc. Service was terrible. Wont be back!

We came to Brandon from Winnipeg for a medical appointment. And saw mums restaurant. We decided to try it for breakfast. Food was delicious and portions great. We will return when in Brandon.

Service was terrible. Waited 20 min for a table. Service was very slow, took an hour to get food ordered steak and eggs and a clubhouse sandwich. they prioritize skip the dishes. Asked to speak with manager would not come and talk to usdishes over pepole in the restaurant.

Best burger and fries to date for delivery/takeout. Burger is always good here. Will be back for more.

My wife and I stop in to Mums Family restraint today for breakfast after being recommended and was amazed at the wonderful food, great service and affordable prices.We would recommend Mums to anyone looking foe a great restraint to go to in Brandon.

I felt compelled to comment after reading some negative reviews.I periodically go for breakfast, but once in a while I will have lunch there. Ive never had a bad meal there. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so a Mums breakfast hits the spot. Eggs are always done to order and I like that they have marble rye toast as one of their choices. Also, your pick of potatoes, shredded, tater tots, grilled or deep fried hash browns.Staff are very friendly. There is a loyal crowd that come in on a daily basis and take out food is also popular.Its a popular place and seating is limited.I think its a great place to eat. Just saying.

Horrible breakfast.. hash browns were undercooked and the bacon was like precooked microwave bacon. Very disappointed, this was a great breakfast place at one time.

Went there for breakfast. Ordered an omelet that came with a side of tomato slices and two pieces of toast for $10.99. After eating three tomato slices and half a piece of toast, I discovered a hair in the omelette (melted right in the cheese and in the folded egg, so definitely not mine). I pointed this out to the server who offered a new one, but I declined as my appetite was gone. Got the bill and she charged me $1.50 for tomato slices and $2.99 for toast that Id eaten 1/4 of, making a disappointing experience even worse. Wont return.

Weve gone for breakfast (its always fantastic!but have never ordered dinner. We love this restaurant and wanted to give dinner a try and ordered thru Skip the Dishes. Everything was hot, incredibly tasty and right on time! Great dinner. Thanks!!

so so good! exactly what we needed while moving across the country. Been eating a lot of takeout while travelling, and this felt just like a great home cooked meal! the smothered chicken was amazing and the girl on the phone was super friendly!

Food was not great but not terrible either. The woman working was VERY rude! There was no mask mandate at the time I went. Walked in the door without a mask then waited to be seated, and from a distance, she YELLED at me to go get a mask. It would have been nice if she kindly said, we require masks when walking around the restaurant. Instead, she literally raised her voice so loud that other patrons turned quickly. However, it didnt phase them too much, maybe this is normal for her or maybe she was having a bad day... Either way, no way to treat a customer who was kindly waiting at the door for a table. Of course I went to get a mask from the car. I wouldnt have come back inside if it wasnt for meeting someone there for breakfast. I will not go back!

Had Eggs Benedict (which is my absolute favourite breakfast/brunch itemand everything was good about it except the hollandaise sauce which tasted sour and the teeny amount of shredded potatoes that accompanied it - could not have been more than 1/4 cup.Good service and friendly staff. Price was acceptable.

Ashamed, My family and I waited 30 minutes before our server first acknowledged us. After dropping off waters, another 20 minutes went by without her coming back to take our orders. In that time, several other customers came and left unattended by the same poor service. When we offered to pay for our coffees and leave. Our completely incompetent server, started talking back, making a scene in restaurant and being extremely rude. “You can’t just come and sit down and expect to be served” No signs suggested otherwise. She then went on to say how she had this ‘terrible headache’, and she’s ‘very busy’ and ‘not feeling well’. Have some dignity and admit to your mistakes and just go home if that’s how you plan to act and treat customers. What a terrible employee, the blonde women working today (Dec 24should be fired. Sad!

Great service and wonderful food! This was the Farmers Breakfast that was a great meal to start the day. Coffee was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The ever attentive staff ensured that my family and I lacked for nothing. Would definitely go back the next time Im in Brandon.

This is one of the best places for breakfast in Brandon. Although its usually fairly busy for brunch on the weekends. The restaurant itself is relatively small and it isnt the place to go for large groups. (Eight or moreHowever, the wait is reasonable if it is busy. The service is fast and friendly and the food is the epitome of comfort food. Definitely a go-to for breakfast/brunch in Brandon. They do serve food throughout the day, so more than simply breakfast is available!

Very cozy atmosphere, and the breakfast I had there was amazing! I would give it five stars however once seated I noticed my fork wasnt washed properly which put me off a little, and when I went to look at other cutlery on different tables some were dirty as well. Wasnt very impressed with that. Other than that, service was great and the food very good. Id recommend this place to my friends
