Lively riverside bar with graffiti'd terrace for Guinness on tap, Irish sports & regular live music.
Good beer and nice live music, super friendly staff
We were looking for you at 2PM. We had to catch a train back to Antwerpen at 4PM.*Its a long train ride from California 😁
The beer without doubt was the worst i had in amsterdam. We had four different kinds of beers and all of them tastet the same or in other words like water! The music the band played gave me a feeling being on board of the titanic while it was sinking. Also the air in there is super thick.
Very nice Irish pub. I used to live in Dublin couple of years and that place is real. Climate of that place is 100% Irish. Owner is also an Irish person/ very nice lad. Drinks are very nice and served right away. In the evenings you have live Irish music so I can recommend :)
Great stout from the tap, great atmosphere, great view on the canal from the upper floor, great location, great everything The only suggestion to the owner: probably snacks selection might be a bit better :)
We havent been to such a warm, high quality and enthusiastic pub for a very long time. Wonderful!
Really cozy as you expect an Irish pub to me. Very friendly staff. I really felt good there.
Great live music on a Sunday night. The pints are pricy though.
I have enjoyed every visit to this amazing place and come here every couple of weeks. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, the live music is great and the overall vibe is nice to catch up with friends. I can recommend this to anyone, but bear in mind that it can get quite busy on weekend days
Great getaway if youve had enough of het bruin café. Order a Kilkenny or Guiness and forget youre in Amsterdam
Nice pub with live music. Prices for shoots very high.
Amazing atmosphere on a saturday night. Loved it!
Great pint of Guinness and the bartender is available to talk all things Irish it seems. Worth a drop in as opposed to the tourist traps claiming to be proper.
We tried all irish pubs in Amsterdam. This one is the best.
The exact atmosphere we were looking for 👌🏼
Great place, great music, and the best pub to get a pint of Guinness.
Love the place ..best Irish pub in Amsterdam , has live music most of the time and a good , fun crowd ..
By far my most favourite Irish pub in Amsterdam! The atmosphere and the staff are just so cute and wonderful 🥰
Great Irish bar & Sean a great attraction behind the bar.
Very sweet little Irish pub. The atmosphere is very wonderful, the bar keepers were extremely nice and they had good cocktails (even a baby Guinness). As everything close to Rembrandtplein, the drinks are a little pricey, but I cannot fault them for that.
Great experience, live Irish music. Staff friendly and efficient. Guiness great, decent prices.
Best pint of Guinness Ive tasted outside of Ireland - why cant we get it like that back in UK
Exactly the way an Irish Pub should look and feel like. Exactly like that. And I’ve been to Ireland 🇮🇪🍀
Definitely one of my favorite places in Amsterdam and probably my favorite Irish pub at all 😁 The live music days are great and they show the football games in the back.Always something going on here and the people working there are super nice!
Best place for a beer, live music and a great atmosphere👌🍻
You cannot beat an Irish bar! Cracking atmosphere and the service was great!
Nice pub right next to a canal. Lovely pints of Guinness and watching a hurling match.
A traditional pub in the heart of Amsterdam.Proper pints, crisps and music too (if youre lucky). Very friendly and patient staff.Worth a visit if you are in Amsterdam for a few days and missing the black stuff (i.e. Guinness).
Actually, not a bad Guinness at all. Decent place, nice trad music and atmosphere.
Rude and racist employee. This elder worker was touchy and unfriendly from the moment my friend and I walked in. As we showed him our EU covid certificate, he did not bother to look at it and walked us out the bar, while yelling. Outside he separated my friend and I: "you here and you here" he yelled as pushed us to separate corners on the street.I had never experienced such a situation and, upon inquiring why this was happening, all he would say is "you are not entering this bar. past this door I rule".My friend and I decided to go home after such a sobering experience. We were very polite and kind throughout the whole interaction despite this employees attitude and physical endeavour. We do think this was racial profiling, as many other people could freely walk in the bar.I would say avoid this place if you can, but the musicians and the atmosphere inside did seem really nice. Such a pity they have this employee that has been mentioned in many other reviews on here. The saddest thing is that on his phone, he had a background wallpaper of his wife and kid. I can not imagine how someone can be so inhumane and go back to their family without any remorse and guilt. As you read this review, you might think we have done something wrong and that no one would act like this out of the blue. I understand this thought. I still wonder why we deserved such animosity despite being nice and friendly throughout the whole interaction, even when he pushed us.
Great place, lovely staff. Decent prices for a pub in the center of amsterdam. Big compliment to all the musicians i heard in my many visits, couldnt be better!
When the bar keeper said "What can I get you lads" in an Irish accent I knew I was in for a treat and I absolutely was. The live music and drinks are great
What an incredible place. Hands down one of the best parts of our trip to Amsterdam. We got to be present for a wonderful Irish folk music concert, enjoyed some amazing beer, and generally just had a great time.
Have passed by many times but this time our group went in - great atmosphere, live music and Guinness poured properly! Also no problem with us bringing our dog into the bar. Will be visiting regularly from now on.
The vibe is incredible. Ive never felt more comfortable. The bartender was very friendly and the beers are great. My dad and I will definitely return here.
A very different pint of Guinness than you get anywhere else in Amsterdam. More like what they pour in Dublin, not as cold and smooth. Great if you know your limits. Also, good live music, good atmosphere, good location.
Very nice local pub, the barman is the real deal.
A small but truly lovely Irish pub. Maybe even the most genuine Irish pub in the city of Amsterdam. The owner has its connections and always has young Irish musicians over who come and play their fiddles and jigs. Lovely atmosphere and fair prices for a place in Amsterdam city centre.
Always a great place for a great pint of Guinness and a nice live music.
It was a fantastic night at the bar. The barkeepers are super friendly (and funnyand the live music there was excellent tonight. My friends and I really had a blast. Good Cider aswell. The atmosphere was terrific. I really liked the decoration (classic pub thingamabobs, instruments and a wall of drawings made by people in the baraswell. It is a charming place for all ages (though the majority were either 60+ or 20-30).
Surprise package. Was quiet in main bar but went upstairs and found an Irish jam session where people rock up with instruments and go for it.
We stumbled there by accident when we have heard their live music while we were walking. It is really the best pub that i have ever visited during all my life. Everybody inside were happy, smiling and singing. The atmosphere was very nice, chill and relaxing. Their live songs isolated us totally from the outside world. The singer and the musician were very friendly and kind. They interact with the audience in a very beautiful way. I would like to get back to Amsterdam only to enjoy another night in Mulligans
What a great find, The bartender had us laughing all night. Such a fun spot. He claims to make the worst Irish Coffee but it was yummy. He even gives you a chocolate 😋
We have been here on a busy sunday night.Place was crowded, great atmosphere, live music an Guinness (obviously)Would drink here again!
We had such a perfect night there :lovely staff!
Lovely bar, full of character and lots of fun.Met some incredibly talented musicians on the traditional Irish music jam night.Good selection of drinks.
Friendly staff, live music with great atmosphere, authentic Irish pub
Great traditional Irish pub perfect for watching the GAA bar staff are the best! And class live music!
I came on a Friday and loved it. There was live music and it was lots of fun, especially when they sang some English songs. The bar is quite cozy and authentic in decor and the bar keeper is lots of fun. They have great Guinness bears and I also strongly recommend the apple cider which was awesome.
Cozy authentic little Irish bar located right on the canal in the center of Amsterdam. Live music. Makes for great memories. The only beer I had was Guinness so I cant speak to the beer selection.
