Locals gather to play pool, watch sports & drink beer amid sports-bar decor & a small-town feel.
Was good parking is stressful but was fun
Nice little pub, the barstaff were friendly
Nice bar and pool table:)
Good punky bar on 9th St in Inner Sunset 🌇
Good pub, Good beers
A sunset institution. Nothing much to write home about but a reasonable place to meet and its not too loud. They have darts.
Feels like a classic small-town bar on the outer part of the City. Reminded this small-town kid of home. I highly recommend all stop in for a drink. Not my last time there.
Nice place, I like the bartender follows the covid guidelines.
Old neighborhood spot. Good atmosphere and service.
Very clean place, service was ok. Expensive for a small cup of beer. Beer was cold but didnt taste as good as other places.
Bartender was cool. Drank here around the afternoon. Friendly crowd. You need to provide covid vaccination documents to drink in though. Has a bathroom. Sports on the Olympics were on the tv. They let me eat in there. Good amount of space, can easily fit 30 ppl in there. Has bathroom. Parking may be difficult in this area.
Great beer selection and friendly bartenders. Asked for proof of vaccine to be served.
Average dive bar OK for an emergency drink but better bars around
Fun sports bar. I rarely frequent sorts bars but was made to feel most welcome.
Good little dive pub, great vibe and a pool table
If you want an amazing dive-bar in the inner sunset, look no further! The bartenders are amazing and friendly. They dont serve food but they accept all outside food. And there are plenty of great restaurants to pick up food from in the area and bring to the bar. Lots of T.V.s to watch sports games (or whatever fun happens to be on). A juke box where you can pick what song plays. Great local place with great local people.
Decent bar, strong drinks, friendly people and memorabilia on the walls plus juke box and pool table. Near food also.
Its was nice if a little quiet atmosphere wise. A lot of regulars and locals so its a nice place to chill and get to know someone
Great neighborhood bar. Not pretentious, spacious and plenty of beer on tap. Most interestingly they have a drawing for schwag and other fun prizes you can enter if you pay cash instead of use a card. Check em out.
Super divey bar with a descent selection of drinks. They even have chips and snacks you can buy when you get the munchies.
Good environment. Relaxed feeling. Good pricing on alcohol. Variety of options. Juke box you can have an app and play music.
Solid drinking bar. No frills, good options, good people.
Went here to visit while working in san fran. Great vibes, nice bartender and good drink prices. My uncle actually owns this pub its great! Come down you will be pleased you did. True peice of San Francisco History.
4 stars for service and drink options. ZERO stars for ownership. Cold cider is good. Bartender is good. Loses stars for having DirectTV so no beIN sport or FuboTV so not a good bar for soccer watching. Bartender offered to let me use the TV remote to find what I wanted to watch. Bar website says you watch any/all sports in town or out of town. Bar owner makes things uncomfortable for customers by taking the remote away and saying "Its my TV. Its my remote." Its like hes a ten year old. I drank my one cider, tipped the bartender, and left. Im a middle aged white guy and the owner made me feel uncomfortable. I can only imagine how the owner treats women or anyone else he thinks is beneath him.
Great local pub, nothing fancy. Just beer, cocktails and a pay to play pool table. No kitchen.
Mucky Duck, or, "The World-Famous Mucky Duck", as the owner, Jason, refers to it as (He even answers the phone, "World-Famous Mucky Duck" 😄), is a nice neighborhood bar, that specializes in showing sporting events. It can definitely be classified as its awning says, "Sports Bar". The clientele is friendly, as is the bartender Caitlyn. Jason, the owner, is a really nice guy. They have a good selection of beers on tap.
Cheap strong drinks with a nice bartender, no attitude, nice atmosphere.
Sometimes you wanna go.. where everybody knows your name. Pretty random (good thingat any time of the day. Has a pool table, popcorn machine, juke box, plenty TVs and hella good eats within a 1-block radius. Still the place to be (or drop byfor St. Paddy’s Day.
I acted out of line after they closed...and was incredibly rude, I cant apologize enough. The bar was great, the bartender was great, I loved every minute of it, and I feel bad cuz I was way rude when I left my phone there and it was my fault, Im sorry. This place is way awesome in every way. Peace frogs.. :)
Such sweet people! Great crowd, friendly service, and decent beer selection. Great prices.
Seems like fun local place looks like great food has one pool they have dart board table very good liquor selection not very big good view
Great old tavern. Been around for many years. Grab a whiskey ginger and watch a game or shoot pool
Pretty low key bar. Pool table is nice, and they have free popcorn
My favorite dive bar in SF. Miss $2 Tecates on Tuesday. Bring that back!
Its a total dive but they are friendly, have free popcorn, and a good beer selection.
Mucky Duck! Our neighborhood bar is quiet and smaller than the other bars around the corner but friendly staff with free popcorn and seasoning. They usually have the game on, whatever that might be. Prices are decent, really chill place for locals.
Locals bar*** Best dive in the sunset, good people and great prices! Highly recommend if youre looking for a chill local spot with regulars.
If you like dive bars, its a great place. Good juke box, pool table, darts. The bar tenders are always nice. The crowd that hangout there are my kind of people. They also have a decent beer selection. They will not have anything extravagant, but its a dive bar.
Great local authentic bar! I had a hot toddy. The benches, the posters, everything adds to the vibe. They also have a great selection of beer on tap. Its conveniently located near Golden Gate park as well.
🍻!!! Great selection of local beers. Fun crowd. Always packed for local sports.
Wow, this is a great find! Great beer selection, I had the beer flight! And the food was great! Ill be back. I had a burger, on dark rye bread. Very tasty!
Great locals hang out. Bartenders are very knowledgeable, friendly, and look out for their customers. Been coming here for almost a decade and its a good time, every time.
Mucky Duck sometimes is like " Mighty Ducks " at times, the little drink social that could. Named after a Mucky Duck in Brighton & Hove, this bar has plenty to offer, in such a small space. Its easy to talk to anyone, and isnt as clickish as Yancys. Jukebox, Darts, Pool, Good IPAS, All I would want now is for them to show the World Cup Qualifiers :Anywho, this is great for singles, dating couples, or to go out w/ the lads.
This intimate bar is located off the very popular corner of 9th and Irving where youll find a lot of UCSF students and staff going to hand out in the afternoons. This place is small so it can get crowded fast. There a few TVs around the place but getting them to play different channels can be a bit of a challenge due to the wiring. The bartenders are ok, not uber friendly, at least not the few times Ive been there. Its also super busy all the time so they dont have much time to chat. There is a dart board up front but playing it can be a pain since youre so close to the bar, and Im a terrible darts player, that youre constantly worried about it bouncing off and hitting people. Its a little divey but a good place to go for a drink and a loud chat with friends.
Diverse crowd and everyone is mello. A real neighborhood place for todays Inner Sunset. Good beer selection and lots of TVs for sports.
You can order food from next door and it will be delivered to your table.Great game crowd.Cool place to relax
this wasnt a bad place to have a few drinks on a birthday night. i definitely had a good time. the only thing that sucked was it was a cash only bar!
Favorite bar in the sunset. Friendly bartenders let our track club bring any food we want in and theres always 5 TVs going.
Safe haven for a cool beer in the Inner Sunset. Its fundamental nature as a sports bar only mildly intrudes upon my enjoyment, and its often quiet enough to talk.
Nice quaint bar with a friendly atmosphere if I lived closer Id be here all the time.
