Opened in the 1930s, this hilltop amusement park features rides, cafes & views of Tbilisi.
Great lookout point!Recommended taking trem to save time and energy. For trekking enthusiasts, just trek will do.P/S: Anyway, dont expect too much from the theme park.
Great weekend😘,Amazing view in the city, including the famous observation wheel😵💫😵💫Lots of restaurants and cafes in case you wish to enjoy your meal with a stellar view😍😍
Great weekend spot. Plenty of roller coasters to ride on, including the famous observation wheel. This view only is absolutely worth the trip. There aren’t a lot of people and wait time is minimal. Lots of restaurants and cafes in case you wish to enjoy your meal with a stellar view.
Most the rides werent operating, but I visited the place before lunch on a hot day.Ferris wheel is a great attraction, view from it is amazing.Park seemed clean and funicular was a comfortable way of getting there.
Beautiful view of Tbilisi city. We ate at the cafe, food was amazing. Has a Ferris wheel and a lot of shops!
Nice amusement Park which dominates Tbilissi. You can see great views of the Georgian Capital. You can reach the park with the funicular or by foot.Several attractions are there as rollercoaster or a big wheel. You can also eat and drink.
Good view, good park, best spot in Tbilissi ! Need to take a card and charge to go by funicalar and do some attractions. I recommend the big splah by 38degres, refresh yourself !❤️🇬🇪
Amazing park. There is a tram which is steepest and taking upto park. Tickets are also not expensive. You can get fully city view from here. Kids really enjoyed.
Very good place to walk and have fun, also the best view for the Tbilisi as well. Great place to take photos. And the roller coaster was crazy and loved it.
Magnificent views are opening from this panoramic park. I was surprised that it had so much attractions for children and cafes fir while families. And of course legendary Funicular restaurant is iconic must visit place for Tbilisi.
The park is nice. But be prepared for a lot of walking. There is no water here either, only in one place. But the drinking water tap doesnt work clearly, but you can figure it out. At least there are toilets here.
It’s very beautiful and lively park on the hill and can be accessed by fanicular. 20 gel for it to an fro. And then on top lots of entertainment rides and activities for all age people by paying extra for each ride through their card. Ferris wheel and roller coaster must try. We visited on Sunday so live music and entertainment activities there. Many small stalls for food and also fine dining restaurants there . Very good picnic spot and excellent Tbilisi city view from top. Can spend 3-4 hr . Better to put some money at entrance on the card if you are going to use rides or else 20 gel per person is enough to just visit the park.
We went on the weekend and apparently there’s of lot of people coming. The waiting for the train is quite long and it’s not enough to take everyone up. If it got full, some of the people left behind must wait another 10 minutes or so.Inside the park is nice. It’s very spacious, however the distance of each rides are a bit far to each other. Surely you will get tired. Also you need to put in advance a credit to your card if you are planning to take the rides because they don’t accept cash inside. The view though is nice. But is it worth it? If you are into rides and other activities, yes. However if it’s just for the view. There is other places you can have the same view.
After 8 years revisited the place. Park is clean and maintained well. The cost for attractions varies from 2 to 12 Georgian Lari (which is about .9 cent to 3.5 us dollars). Staff are friendly and ready to ASSIST AS MUCH AS THEY CAN. Spent an amazing time on almost all rides.
Mtatsminda is one of the most popular mountains in Georgia, and offers fantastic views of the cityscape. On a clear day, you can see all the way to the Black Sea.The park features a variety of rides, including a roller coaster, Ferris wheel, and carousel.gentle roller coasters to high-speed thrill rides.Mtatsminda is also home to a number of great restaurants, shops, and cafes,Mtatsminda is the perfect place to spend a day with family and friends.
Just great, views from different angles, clean park. You just take the rides you want, it works well with the park card. Must visit when you are in Tbilisi.
The best park in Georgia, you kids will love it. Located at the top of the mountain and the view is really amazing. You can go there by bus or by cable cars.
Its highly recommended to visit this park because you will have a unique experience of going up and coming back. The city view from there is fantastic. Dont forget to have a carousel ride up there.
Amusement park attractions apart, spectacular views of Tbilisi city from over 700 meters height vantage. The way to get there yes is unique, a funicular which is a tram ropeway. Some of the rides including the giant wheel were closed however its worth a visit just for the views. Good eat and drink options available.
A very fun and an amusement park with a lot of fun activity. the lightning are very amazing and the view to watch out from in the night. A lot of good places to eat. A wonderful experience to visit with the whole family.
As an American tourist without children, I enjoyed walking around the park looking at the rides and the interesting buildings. The park was a bit confusing for me, i was trying to avoid stairs. The center of the park going up hill is one big continuous staircase. If you take the path to the far right you will head toward the Ferris Wheel, and I think at the end it connects to the other side. Otherwise I preferred the road on the far left which went to the center “golden tree” with panorama point and then up to the roller coaster. I bought a $6 Pomegranate juice from a vendor who looked like she was going to cry because I made her work…maybe you could have ur employees act happy in your amusement park?
Good place to spend a quality time with children. Use cable car (cable tram 🚡to go up to funicular. You will enjoy, sightseeings on almost whole Tbilisi, fresh air, different attractions, cafes, restaurants, etc.
A lovely park at the highest point of tbilisi, giving you an amazing view of the city. Recommended to go just before sunset. Ticket price is reasonable. Mountain cart is a bit of a wait and can get crowded. But, once youre there, its all worth it and you can admire so much of what the park has to offer.
Excelent place to escape from hot Tbilisi. Easy to get by funicular or bus. There are restaurants, attractions for kids and adults, most lovely for everyone is the contact zoo.
The rides may be old, but what a lovely park, especially since its on top of a hill/mountain with the best view over Tbilisi
Nice place to walk around, we reached the place using the road by taxi but we lifted the place using the funicular which was a nice experience, 50% of the games are not working and abounded, I recommend the place for few reasons 1- you can spend minimum 1 hour just walking 2- weather is perfect since the park is on top the mountain 3- the view from the park on Tibilisi city is fantastic 4- entrance to the park is free of charge
Nice park to walk around. You dont have to use funicular to get there from the city - there is a trail you can walk in ~30 minutes or even less. Dont expect nice places to have a meal/snack there - everything will be expensive and modest or low quality. The roller coasters are pretty outdated. But the views are amazing
A great park to walk around and take a few rides on attractions. Attracrions are a little bit old but working fine. A fee for a ride is 10 GEL.
Best food in the mountains of Tbilisi with breathtaking views. They have great wine as well in this restaurant. Worth a visit.
We went towards the forest area not the amusement Park itself. Such a lovely spot to chill, have picnics or spend time with pets and friends. It overlooks sololaki and avlabari. We walked down the mountain all the way to city center and it was such an easy nice walk
Excellent variety of games! I did tge giant wheel, walked around then had a halal lunch , Georgian lamb barbecue 😋... i loved the weather too , make sure to buy the cards and check the map and check the prices too, good prices
Great Amusement Park and beautiful views of the city. The park wasn’t really busy. They had rides for every age child. Very budget friendly. Most expensive part was taking the funicular to the park from the city. This is definitely one of the strangest theme park Ive ever been to. First, the views from up there are absolutely spectacular! That being said, this is more like a state fair then a theme park. It is definitely really dated, and the rides are not the best Ive seen.We wanted explore the top of the mountain overlooking Tbilisi and thought the best way to get to the top was using the funicular. It was a cheap journey to the top with some amazing views which only took a few minutes.Once we got to the top we had a lovely walk round the park, it had a vast amount of greenery and paths to follow your way round. We had a couple of drinks and one of the restaurants which was great to watch the world go bye.We then decided to walk back down instead of getting the funicular, which a lovely green walk down following a path the whole way back to the bottom of the mountain.Overall nice place for a walk but not much else todo and just needs a little bit more looking after in the park.
The park was wonderful! We did trekking to the park and the park has a beautiful city view! There’re faucets all around the parks of Tbilisi, I drank the water from them it’s was good! You can have ice cream or have cup of coffee or tea and be amazed by Tbilisi view! Or you can take your drink and food and have a picnic there!
Not your fancy amusement park with spine-chilling roller coasters and rides. Good for teens and young age kids. Tourists can get an aerial view of Georgia from here. Entrance is free, however you need to have a card topped up individually for rides. We just took the Ferris Wheel ride. Enough parking space on the road side.
Fairly cheap attractions, really picturesque Tbilisi, especially at the dusk, a lot of amusements for children and adults. A lot of benches to have a peaceful rest looking at the city. "Giant wheel" and "Free Fall" attractions are must have, especially when the sun set.
There are a few ways to reach Mtatsminda park. One through the funicular which costs 8gel per person. Or through bus or car (taxi). You can also hike up to the park.It is a fun park for kids with plenty of rides, water slides, etc. Theres a giant ferris wheel overlooking the city (pro tip: hop on the ferris wheel during sunset).Good place to have some family time and to hangout w friends.
funicular goes once in a 20min. On a way down we had to skip one because it was full and we were not allowed to go in. We waited 20 minutes more. I was a Saturday night, other time is less busy I guess.Place is ok.
Top destination in Tbilisi. The park is located at the altitude 700 m watching over Tbilisi. The park is connected with the downtown of the city by cable tram, built more than 100 years ago. Amusement park in Mtatsminda is an beloved place of the kids and adults as well.
Amazing park at the hill top. You can go there by train. we paid around 50 Lari for up & down (2 adults & 1 child). There have a amazing city view from the top. Most of the restaurants and rides was closed due to Covid-19 pandemic situation, we visited on dec 2021.
This place used to be so lively way back 2019. Now due to covid some restaurants have closed. But this place is beautiful in itself. Prepare your poses and camera.
Lots to do for family and romantic couples. Great views of the city, lots of stalls selling snacks and hot drinks.
Due to holiday season, most of the attractions are closed.Limited attractions are open and few restaurant options. Most of the toilets have fees as most of the tourist spots in the country.
We climbed up Mtatsminda Park from the bottom and took the cable car/ little train down. The sunset on the mountain is amazing, so as the night scene. There are some fun rides in the park too. Also I would suggest staying on the main track if you want to walk up, on our way we got missing at some point since a gate to the park was closed(but luckily some people were passing by and had the gates open).
Amazing park. You can go there by train. The place is full of activities and Cafe or food. There have amazing view for Tiblisi, I really enjoyed the visit for this place. I recommended this place for every one. Kids zone is available if you have your kids. Washrooms are available also there. At the end there is store for special gifts from this park and Georgia in general. Worthy to visit.
Was freezing cold on the day we went up there so wanted something hot to drink. Many places were closed. Big wheel was a fun experience and very reasonably priced. Views are amazing from up there. Take the funicular.
This theme park is quite cool, is quite big and has breathtaking views of the whole city. There are lots of nice food stands all over the park.Looks like the perfect place to come with kids.
The view is amazingI had a great day walking and chill by myself. Its also best place for kids to play all day.Experience the funicular for sure, it was an amazing amazing ride I had.
One of the ways to reach the park is by train and it is recommended to go by train to experience the steep climb which was made in 1905 and continues to remain intact with new technology. The games and prices are affordable ,not priced very high so its not hard on the pocket.Few games and rides for older kids above 12.The view of the city from top of the hill is very picturesque especially in the evening during sunset.we were lucky to around that time during sunset. The restaurant on top of the hill at the entrance serves halal food too and is very nice.
It is a place must be visited and spend at least half day there where kids and adults can enjoy different activities although it is highly recommended to be more organized and better promoted. They can establish a small entry fees on each person and make all activities to be used under one way of payment; now some games and activities must be paid cash. Also to offer some explanation on what to expect inside and how you can use your time to ultimate entertaining and how many restaurant, snacks, tickets box, …There was a flyer but not offered at the entrance gateStill a place to be visit a miss a lot if done
Fun place, for kids and families / adults like! Been open since 1905, wow!🎟️ Free entry and simply top up credit for rides, very cheap!Enjoyed the log flume 💦 and giant wheel, amazing views! 🎡Perfect to enjoy Tbilisi from up high and before or after getting the funicular!
