Mt. Isarog National Park in Naga

Located just 20 minutes from Naga city is Mount isarog national Park which houses two waterfalls namely mabontolan waterfalls and malabsay waterfalls. Malabsay is the more popular between the two waterfalls. Theres a parking area here but youll need a high ground clearance vehicle like a 4x4 to access it. Entrance is ₱10

Mt. Isarog is not an easy hike but it is very enjoyable. Our local guide was very nice. Best to bring water or medicine for upset stomach if you have sensitive tummy. We did just fine. The spring water was actually sweet. The viee at the top is very beautiful. The climb down is just challenging as it is very slippery.

For nature lovers!!!*The free parking area is on the left side, near Hibiscus Camp. (The old parking area is now owned by someone lol he will try to stop you and make you pay P50 for the parking and P5 per head). The new entrance of Consocep is relocated because of that.**didnt manage to capture the road but youll get it when you get there.

The entrance free for the waterfalls is 50p for foreigners and 10p for the locals. You can swim there with nice cool water. This place was beyond expectations :)

If you are a nature lovers, Mount Isarog National Park offers you a variety of activities. About a half-hour away from the Pilgrim City of Naga City, you can find numerous falls here, and two of the most famous ones are Malabsay Falls (about 10 ft. deepwaterand Nabuntulan Falls (about 6ft deep water).There are also the Secret Falls if you are up for a longer trek up the mountain and blue lagoon near the Nabuntulan Falls. Other top places to visit here include Panicuason Hot Spring Resort as well as Sulat pool near GSP Station. Activites that you can do here include biking, picnic, trekking to the summit of the mountain, taking a dip in its numerous springs, bird watching, or simply enjoying the refreshing view of nature.

The trail is exciting. Prepare to hike up and down to reach Binuntulan Falls compared to paved way to Malabsay Falls

Cool,envigorating,pictureque,beautitiful,scenic,enchanting,place..a resort on top of a very high mountain..

On the way to the Malabsay waterfalls, those are two(the upper is not on the map). You dont need a guide to the lower Mal.fall. Both are nice, however ird better with the guide to visit the upper one, where you will see only the authentic jungle w/o banners and notice boards. For those who dont have a time or they cant take a trip to the top of Mount Isarog. It only takes 40 min and 100peso.

Very nice place to spend a day. Relax and enjoy the clear and clean spring water. The true falls are there.

A wonderful place to enjoy nature, to unwind, and to escape from very stressful city life.

Very nice environment for family bonding. Overnight at the summit is the best experience for rain forest survival. 6 to 8 hours trek for pro mountaineer and 8 to 10hours for non pro depending on backpack load. Baggage matters since you will go through over and under with roots, branches, logs, mud walls along the 80 percent assualt trek.

Im giving this a 5 star because it is giving me high school nostalgia. I remember a lot of happy memories of this place which includes my good old friends slash classmates from high school. It has an old tree house (which was destroyed by the typhoon. I hope the government will rehabilitate the place to attract more tourist). For me this is not just a place with waterfalls. It is where I had happy moments and never felt alone.

Mt Isarog is the highest mountain of Camarines Sur, 2nd highest in Bicol Region next to Mayon Volcano.

I travel on this place using my mountain bike..Its terrific.
