Great fun hanging out with the British expats. Footie in the telly, live band, nice variety of beers on tap, etc. Less than a minutes walk to train station.

Great pub if you miss England! Walking in transports you back to the best types of pub in the world. Great staff too.

Popped in for a quick drink before going for dinner. Place was clean, atmospheric and the was a wide variety of both drinks and sports on offer. Def a place I would return to.

Mr Pickwick has good beer, friendly staff and plenty Craic when busy. Nice for a quiet drink and a bar meal or a busy night out with live music.

Good pub but some of the personal seemed quite overwhelmed with situation! Was in the pub in Zug on St Patricks Day, first time I wanted to order food and Nicki (green mustache on that dayblew up at the question: where do I order the food... Not professionally handled and maybe take a quick break if you cant handle the pressure of a half full pub!

1st visit: Interesting place.5 stars.(just for a beer)2nd: I went again. For food this time. Nice french fries and good seasoning. Could be a better side sauce than a common -not the best quality- ketchup..You see the lettuce... I didnt like the meat also... was not possible to say medium-rare. So came a well done cooked slim burger......and the quality also was not good. So. For the burger I will give 2 stars. 5 stars for the potatoes, and 3 for the ketchup. To sum up, my second experience was 3 stars..

Great pub food. Great international mixed with local vibe. Great place to meet people. The staff is very friendly with good service. Big cellection of draft beers/ciders and bottles/cans. Would always recomend this place for families also. They are always showing great sports games, aspecially football, rugby and many more. The special events are always entertaining such as karaoke, st patricks day, live bands and much more.

We went in the middle of the week on a whim to Zug, and we found this place to be completely packed. Great atmosphere, and very welcoming people. The drinks are not crazy expensive, and I would say its one of the best spots to get a beer in Zug during the week. Table football machine was broken last time I went though, so I hope theyve fixed it by the next time I go.

Mr Pickwicks is a chain of pubs in Switzerland. They provide a genuine expat feeling and serve a range of international beers. Their staff are friendly. Food is classic burgers and English fare (pies and fish and chips). Great place to meet people.

Cool English pub in Zug, I had heard about this place from colleagues for years and it was exactly how they described it. Very friendly staff and patrons, good beer selection.

Decent if slow bar food in addition to life essentials like Guinness. But my for long beef got dog was singularly unimpressive.

Its the best homely place in Zug to hang out. Get some nice beers from tap, watch the game. Wluld have been just like any other pub in the UK but in Switzerland this is special

Cosy place, but expensive drinks. There is a large variety of beers. The food used to be good (years ago, especially the burgers, but now they serve thin, frozen patties. Even McDonalds burgers are better than that.

Great place with a good atmosphere. It is a bit overpriced but if you are wanting a relaxed evening it is nice to play darts and have something to drink.

2 stars only because the people coming are fun to hang out with. The prices are stupid high which spoils the fun quite fast. Yes, people in Zug can usually afford it, myself included, just dont like to feel robbed when I buy a beer

Nice pub. Good beer, usually nice atmosphere. Food is generally okay, but do not recommend fish and chips! Soggy, mushy and tasteless. Very disappointing.

Who doesnt know Mr. Pickwick? Its The english pub in town. Always lively and bursting with the growing english speaking community in Zug. They broadcast all mayor sport events and there is outside sitting.The food is so-so pub style fare: burgers, fries, fish & chips, garlic bread (about the only vegetarian option in the menu), onion rings and so on, with a featured daily special.Their strenght is what it seems to be the largest selection of beer in town, both bottled and draft though no surprises here: Carlsberg, good old Guinness, London Pride, Becks... the usual suspects). Since I rather drink craft beers I ordered a couple of simple cocktails, but the bartenders didnt know how to make either of them. So I had my always reliable Jack straight and called it a night.

I dont like it here. Too loud to talk. To expensive to get drunk. Often very crowded. At least it is very close to the station. The food is good, although not healthy. Its a pub, I know. But still not mine.

Good food and the place has wide range of drinks. The darts board is fun. Lot of seats and the large screens for watching football. Great place

The place to be in Zug for Expats. its exactly what you would expect from a Pub. They do great burgers among other things. One highlight is of course the Karaoke night. but be ware, after the fifth pint you might end up singing yourself!

My favourite pub in Zug. Typical Irish/English pub with wooden finish with a lot of sports-related decorations. A place to watch sports, to meet cool people and have a nice conversation. This is English-speaking place in already very cosmopolitan town of Zug. Good choice of delicious burgers and beers but prices could be a bit lower though...

Its an English pub. What else needs to be said? Outdoor patio is great but sometimes the cigarette smoke ruins it for me. Fantastic fish and chips, very good burgers. Dart boards, sporting events on big screen TV. Wait, I already told you its an English pub. If thats not your thing, there are plenty of options on up the block. Personally, we love it. And our dog is always welcome.
