You order everything from the bar and present a card from your table with a number on it. Pay then and bring your drinks and cutlery back to table with you. Food is then brought to you.Price of food reasonable and good, drink on high side. Sitting right beside river with beautiful view.

Pub hamburger restaurant well located along the river. Order and pay at bar they bring the food. Nice range of drinks well served, barwoman knows her job. Hamburger are honest and frites are good. The price of goods is low if you keep in mind location and country.

One word : overatedThe service is very average, you take advantage of the fact that you are the only one pub in town with a good location and finally the food is of a very bad quality.

Fish n chips were very good. Drinks as served were room temperature, and we were only given a glass with ice to pour into.

Good food and drink in a great location

British pub in the center of tourist area in Luzern. Was able to watch English Premier League. Nice variety of pub grub on menu and a couple British beers on tap.

I was looking forward to a truly traditional British dish - fish n chips - but with Swiss quality added.It was worse than you get in Britain. One or two millimetres of fish, just batter.Very disappointing.

Nice pub with good food, drinks and friendly staff. A bit noisy for my taste but is located in a very touristy spot after all.

Location is amazing but you would expect service to be way better. It’s self service and staff is really rude and unprofessional.

When you sit in the tables outside (the only reason you would go to this restaurantand ask for the wifi password and the answer is “wifi is only for customers sitting inside” and then you ask for an extra plate and you’re told “we can’t give one to you since we won’t have enough for other customers…” and after insisting you’re told “ok, it’s not busy at the moment so here you go” and when you’re paying CHF 7 a bottle of room-temperature still water when it’s 32C “because we are in Switzerland” this means you never go back there again!

Very good service, excellent food. Lots of beers to choose from, cider too. Also any kind of non-alcoholic drinks too.

The most rude staff I have experienced in a very long time. While walking by 10 mins before opening we were looking for a lunch location and saw the advertisement signs for what looked like a delicious meal. We stopped to look at the menu in the self service water front seating that no one was at. We chose a table and sat while reviewing the menu to order in now 5 mins from their official opening. This woman came out of the locked door and yelled at my wife and I in German the. English and called me a dumb American. I have never been treated so rudely. I didn’t even respond as I was so shocked! We moved on and luckily enjoyed a great lunch at a real Irish Pub!

Me and my partner visited the lake and I ordered a beer and some tacos but my partner wanted Starbucks next door, so we got our orders and sat on a table outside this restaurant. One of the waiters ran towards us and starting shouting ( you can’t bring another drink from a different shop to our table, you need to leave now!). I explained that we also have ordered food and drink from their shop hence why we sitting there but they wouldn’t have it. So we left. Very rude and food tasted like plastic. For a beautiful town like Lucerne, it’s a shame people like them exist!

Nice cosy pub, 5 minutes walk from the station, across the bridge. Outdoor seating available by the river facing the iconic bridge. Great find.

Switzerland is expensive, but this place is ridiculous! Food was good, but not worth $26 for a burger and wee portion of fries. Do yourself a favor and get off the river for more reasonable prices.

Good service, good food, several beers and comfortable place to seat and appreciate the movement and the view. The Fish and Chips are the fast thing to order without thinking too much. There are tables in front of the bar and inside, but for sure the tables outside are the best.

This is located right on the river. They have outdoor seating as well as inside. We sat inside. You order your food at the bar and then will bring it to you were you are sitting. I ordered vegetable curry with naan and samosas very good curry. He ordered fish and chips, and he liked it too.Friendly staff great atmosphere and good bar food.

Lovely pub with an amazing location. I just arrived in Lucerne and wandered around the city. It was a hot day so I needed a drink and found this place.Stayed for a few pints on Guinness and nachos then sat outside by the river with another Guinness!Id recommend it. Also, great music, not too loud and the staff spoke English.

We really enjoyed the food here. If you want to sit outside you have to wait quite a bit.

Good location and selection of drinks. They show English football matches which makes the place noisy inside but the area outside by the river with a perfect view of Luzern’s famous Chapel Bridge is the place to be.

Its nice to see the Dutch connection. Visited on Kings day. Was a great atmosphere. Good beer selection. They had Guinness on tap. The food was good as well. All in all it has a good value for money.

Without question the best pub in Luzern (if not Switzerland!to watch live sport or catch up over a beverage while soaking up a classic British pub atmosphere.Plenty of seating wrapped around a central bar, with exceedingly tasty food, friendly service and plenty of screens. Genius move: not only are they able to show a different sports event on each screen, but they label each tv in advance so everyone knows where to sit and what they’re getting.On top of that is outdoor seating, offering a first class view of the historic Chapel Bridge running across the Reuss. If you order a beer, youll get one. Thats the positive about this English style pub. There are other places were you feel more welcome. Maybe its all different on a sunny day sitting outside were you can watch people passing by.

Excellent British pub in Lucerne with authentic pub feel and food and drinks. Prices are very reasonable and place really felt welcoming. The ambiance and staff were both great and drinks came out very fast. There were a lot of locals coming to the place. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a drink.

A very authentically British pub. The food menu even lists chips instead of French fries. The decor and general atmosphere inside is that of a typical English pub. Food and drink choices too.I thought this place was brilliant and I wish Id known about it earlier. Ill definitely be back there next time Im in Lucerne

Had a nonconsumption related incident with a drink as per the attached images however, the bar staff were light hearted and fine about it. Shame I wont be back!

Tons of TVs AND the Sunday NFL games were on! Amazing pub atmosphere, great beer and cider selection on tap. The women’s restroom was one of the cleanest of any bar I’ve ever been into-EVER. The staff was wonderful. Plenty of seating, and very cozy.

Very friendly waitresses and waiters, food isn’t top notch but still done in a good way, the beers are good and the prices are more than descent for lucern’s standard. Definitely recommend to spend some time at this place!

Spent my birthday here! Great pub atmosphere!! So clean, even the bathroom was spotless. Lucerne is an expensive city but we managed to sneak out under 50 GBP with two cheeseburgers, some fries and two Swiss ales on tap. Recommended!!! In summer looks like it would be even more fab!

This a cool trendy place in Lucerne, you have a great view of reuss with the beautiful chapel bridge, they have a great menu of beer, they also serve guest beer which is special, its a sports bar too, they have live match screening of different sports, I had ordered a Luzerner Player, which is like plate of different snacks. It was tasty. I would love to go there back for live football and beer. Service is fine.

Awesome Irish Pub in Lucern with really tasty pub meals at a reasonable price. Beers nice and cold and friendly staff as well. Tables next to the river are great with a fantastic view of the Chapel Bridge.

Came here for the Big Ben burger. Two beef patties, cheese, bacon, egg and onion rings. Of course I ordered a beer with it. Youve got to balance out the grease.This place is a little different as there is no table service. You have to order at the bar and they will bring to your table. In the US, this wouldnt fly because the bar is always crowded. There are only two or four bar seats at this bar and the rest is open.They are very friendly and accommodating here. It has a pretty open floor plan so its easy to get around without having to weave through hordes of people. They didnt try to cram in more seats to have more customers. This is good. Riverside seating is also available.The burger arrived and it was a monster. The bread was perfect, meat was mouthwatering, egg was delicious, onion rings were consistently crisp and the bacon was heart stopping.This is a great place to eat if youre ever in Lucerne. I would go back.
