Mr. Long Hostel & Bar in Krabi

Weve been there when the hostel was still closed due to covid and repairs im february 2022, but the bar was open. Mr. Long is such a wonderful and welcoming person. If you are in the region, definitely visit him (and try his selfmade Tequila)!

One of the Best Bar I‘ve seen in Thailand so far! Mr. Long is incredibly nice and enjoys sitting down with you for a nice Chat. The Atmosphere is laid back and the design of the Bar really Gorgeous.Thanks mr. Long see you next time!

I travelled Thaïlande a lot but staying at Mr Longs reggae bar was for sure my best Thaï expérience ! I just read here that it feels like home far from home... I can only agree to that ! Him and his son Sef and wife were the best hosts. Helping with everything, and answering all questions we had about Thaï culture and lifestyle, including best Thaï classes we got.Also i had the Best sleep there: the bedrooms and beds are just Amazing ! No aircond but the fan is just what you need... And bed linnen and everything was Amazing, and so quiet...Last but not least : cool cats, dogs and Jungle chicken ! The day we arrived were very rainy, WE could light a fire to warm up the bar... So nice! There were also a Big fish that broke into the bar, believe it or not, because of heavy rain.... Mr Long just send it Back toi where it belongs :). Thank you Big Time Mr Long !

We’re so lucky that can stay in Mr.Long ‘s hostel & bar.For us he is the coolest man in Krabi -he is so warm , funny, take care of every single guest in his house, so if you come alone i think you’ll still don’t feel lonely at all.We feel like as home with wonderful cook meal of Mr.Long’s wife.The house was surrounded by forest so from the window behind you can see big lizard ( i mean really really big 😆)His house is Thai traditional house (made by himso it’ll don’t like normal hotel. Room is small but bed is so cozy, Mr.Long can help you with islands tour, taxi to airport, rent motorbike....just let him know 👍🏻

Mr Long are very friendly man and forever in my hearth! You should visit his bar!

One of the best places in Thailand. If you want to have a nice Time and some peace from the loud Thiailand streets - This is the place to be. Mr Long is a great host. And his home made Tequila is good. His wifes cooking is the BEST. It feels like home, far from home.

Amazing place with amazing people. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and Mr. Long and his family are super nice. Will definetely stay here again if i come to Thailand <3

Mr. Long is a legend! We had everything we needed here, even coffee with milk! Good wifi and lovely animals to keep us companied during breakfast.

Einfache urige Ausstattung, die freundliche Art von Mister Long ist bekannt. Wir kennen ihn schon über 10 Jahre, er ist in Ao Nang ein Original.

Stayed here for a month and received top-notch service!Occasionally ate meals with the Long family and felt like a part of the family.There are cats, a dog, and chickens; so be ready for breakfast donuts with a view :]

Dont come here if you are looking for luxury and fine dining. Come here only when you want genuine experience of Thai, meet Thai people and other travelers. Come here to experience "Back to Nature", surrounder by trees animals and loving host family. Mr.Long is father like person, taking care of every guest who comes in. He will offer a drink, a ride to the beach or just to the main road if you are lazy to walk 😉. Not only Mr.Long and family will welcome you but also his "extended" family members (dogs, cats, chickens, chicks..)General info: hostel with single rooms,multibedroom, 15 min walk from Ao Nang beach, same time to center,bring mosqito repelent because the are part of nature too😊

Amazing, amazing host with beautiful rooms and it is just a beautiful place! Washrooms are okayish as they are coomon for the whole place but the over all experience of living in a jungle kind of a place with a complete wooden house was amazing and the hospitality of Mr. Long and his wife was just too good. The food cooked by Mrs. Long was too good!!

Hidden Gem of a hostel, great hosts, great atmosphere, great price and amazing tequila! Highly recommended.

This people are welcoming like no-one else. They feel like family.Theyre also making a beautiful hostel in the jungle and we were lucky to stay with them for two nights... It felt like a home, not a hostel. Highly recommendable
