Mr. Hero in Columbus

I love Mr.Hero. it was closed for awhile. And boy I knew when it was opened, I had the best GYRO EVAH!!! You are my Hero Mr.!!!

I got 2 drinks and the cups where dirty and the food was cold I mean I spent over 40 dollars I’d expect better 😂

New Ownership. Ridiculously overpriced. Long wait times.They are actually weighing out the waffle fries to keep the serving small.Almost $7 just for a small sandwich and $4 just to make it a meal with a small amount of waffle fries.The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the Roman burger does taste good.

I have been going to this place for over 30 years. They are good and reasonably priced for a cheese steak. I would visit more often but there is not one closer to me.

Food cooked to order! Hot as usual. Wish it looked cleaner. Roman Burger is a great sandwich!

I got a gyro, it really didnt have too much of a flavor to it. I dont think I would go there again for another gyro.

The wait is generally longer than most other fast food places, but the food is worth the wait. I love roman burgers, they remind me of my childhood 😊

First time having Mr. Hero. Got the romanburger, good sandwich, filled me up. Tasted fresh and was exactly how I asked for it.

Really glad the Gyro is back, I havent eaten at Mr. Heros since they took it away. I would also like to comment on how well the staff did with low staffing.

Great food. Fast services. Just a bit pricey for extra/heavy condiments. Almost 2$ more for 2 items onions green pepers!

Everytime I go here it’s never right!! I asked for light lettuce I get heavy lettuce, I asked for meat well done it’s never done!!! Asked for Tator tots get waffle fries. I’m done!!! The tomatoes and onions are always soggyLost a loyal customer!! ):

Wow ordered jalapeño poppers all I got was cheese yous could barely see anything that resembles a pepper Churches chicken has much berries poppesand you actually get jalapeño

Over 25 years ago I was introduced to the Romanburger by my father-in-law. One of the best sandwiches ever made! I’m sure their other food is great, but I never bring myself to order anything but the Romanburger! One of a kind!!!

I’m pretty sure Mr. Hero is one of God’s gifts to humanity! It’s probably the sandwich I would pick for my last meal. Always so fresh and delicious. Yes you have to wait a little longer than average but man is it worth it!! The staff is so nice and friendly. You all get an A++++++++

They need to update their info on Uber Eats. It lists chicken wings, I called this location to verify they have chicken wings was told yes. I ordered and chicken nuggets were delivered.

The food is really good like I love everything but its hard to understand them thru the order thing

I love Mr Hero but this location messes up my order a lot and the drive thru line is very slow. And I can’t get my order fixed going back through the drive thru because of how long the line is and I usually only have so much time left for lunch

When I chomped into that Roman Burger... the sun started shining and you could hear angelic music. I savored the flavor while reminiscing with my pops about not having one in years and while prices have gone up... IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Found it when I was passing so didnt know what to expect. The place is a little more pricey than I thought and i was in line for about 10 minutes. So if your in a hurry dont go but the sub and sizes are very worth it. Will be going again if Im in the area.

Ok sammy if you ask me. Decent prices. I ordered 6 craver meals . Which include burger, fry, slaw, and drink and 1 sub all for 36 dollars

I have eaten here for years and the food has never been anything other than good, to me amazing I get the Philly cheese, waffle fries and side of dipping cheese

Everything was fresh, but one sandwich barely had any sauce on it, and the chicken bistro sandwich was missing both the garlic sauce and the bistro sauce, and the onion chips. Pepperoni bites were pretty good, but light on the pepperoni

Ordered a Sicilian combo, waited 20+ minutes in line and finally got my food only to find out they gave me a Roman burger, line was 10 cars deep and I could not go inside to get my order corrected. So I had to eat something I didn’t order as opposed to waiting an additional 30 minutes just to get what I had originally ordered... don’t go here

I wrecked the place of for only due to the fact that I didnt have a lot of meat for it to be a Cheesesteak. And I think because Im from Philly Im used to cheesesteaks being real meanie. It also was very hot thats a plus the fries were hot everything was fresh so I did like that the lettuce was fresh. It was just a good sandwich I just wish I had a lot more meat to go along with it with the cheese steak taste feel to it.

Mr heros is always so good. The place is always clean no matter which one you go to. They are never packed but theres customers in there every visit. The food is made to order and gosh darn tasty. The pepperoni bites were slamming. They have so many great choices on their menu and the desserts look so good.

The food was good. The service was hood. The dining room windows need a good washing. I could tell that they have not been properly cleaned in years.

This restaurant was originally the only Mr Heros in Columbus. Thank you Mr Patel for bring a visionary and bringing one of my hometown favorite to Columbus. Also, this Mr Heros attention to detail is refreshing. They never mess up an order. Thanks for being there and listening. There food is delicious.

Only 4⭐s bc they were out of steak. No mention of that until you were already in the line and couldnt leave. But the food ordered was fresh and hot. The chicken Philly was the bomb though! Great for a late night good run.

Sandwiches were ok. Ordered 2 large fries with cheese sauce and was charged close to $9. Get home and there were like 10 waffle cut fries in the bag. For the prices they charge, you should get more for your money. Also the manager is rude! Asked to put more fries in the bag and he said the fries are to fill up the tiny boat they put it in, not the bag. Told him he needs to stop charging such high prices for a large and giving people a small. He rolled his eyes and slammed the drive way window. It will be a cold day in hell before I spend any money here again!

The manager was rude and nasty. She doesnt have any good communication skills other than being short and rude with the customer and horrid to her employees. I felt terrible for them to have to endure her at any given moment. The restaurants front counter was dirty as was the fountain drink area.

Hmmmmmm, the Roman Burgers! Everything is cooked right before you. Hot and fresh, even the Wafer Fries are cooked fresh. Please try the famous Roman Burgers, you will not be disappointed. Get the Largest one they have, because you will be kicking yourself if you get the small Roman Burger. Enjoy!!!

Roman Burger is the bomb. I ate a 10 inch 1 all by myself today I am so stuffed but it was delicious. If you never had one search out the location

Sandwiches are always hot a taste great!! Drive thru is always a little slow. Figure 10 min from the time you order till you pay and leave. Keep in mind the sandwiches are made when you order so its definitely not anything excessive.

I dont go here often as its out of my way. But when I come I get a Romanburger and Hot Buttered Cheesesteak because I love both and dont want to choose between them. Lol. Plus I cant eat both so I get to eat leftoversWaffle fries are good here as well

Ive been going to this place for years. I always get the Romanburger and waffle fries with a rootbeer. The only thing I dont like is the drive thru is always crowded when I go there but I guess thats also a good thing because people love the food here. Other than that I have no complaints.

The very best! Awesome food, Great prices and a huge variety on menu. I really give them props someone broke down in the drive through instead of closing their restuarant they reopened the dining area! SIMPLY AMAZING!

I usually go here about 3 times a month after today never again!!! I go through drive through sit there for 10mins no one n front of me and no help. I finally said is someone going to take my order? They did. I drove almost an hour to get this my mistake did not check my food no meat on it. I called she asked whats the problem? Well not what i ordered sat the phone down 10mins later still no one. Again my mistake i will not eat here again if you cant solve one little issue. Bad customer service.

I think people complain about the service on here because......theyre ghetto trash who are rude, ignorant, used to paying with ebt card and would take being called a hood rat as a compliment. I personally am amazed at how polite and friendly the staff is in spite of their lowly clientele. The food is always hot and fresh and I wish for the sake of the "foreign" owners.....the first people to jump too the race card are also usually the first to be RACIST.....but I wish for their sake the restaurant could relocate to the suburbs. Either way the food is great, the staff is efficient and friendly and if dining inside LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS!!!

Just about every time I come here I come through the drive-thru and they are always very nice. They always ask do I want cheese sauce with my fries... So I dont forget to ask myself. I love it here!!! Im just sad that its only one here in Columbus, Ohio. They are pretty good about getting food out in a timely manner for it to always be fresh off the grill

a great spot for lunch, especially for the area. your foods cooked right in front of you, doesnt sit in a warmer at all. takes a bit longer than most places at lunch time but literally everything going in your belly is cooked when you order it and absolutely gooey cheesey deliciousness. great hardworking staff. considering the prep time of the food they move it out to the customers quickly. Plus they have Churros!!

1/27/2017 8:57PM I am here every once it a while. They are always pretty nice to me. Never have had a order messed up. I have ate inside a few times. Its always clean. That do have food made to order so it is a bit longer but that is a sacrifice I am willing to make vs food that has been sitting in heating trays for who knows how long. This stuff is high in calories and they do display that on their menu so I dont eat here often but it is always good when I do!
