Mr. Brew Pub & Empório in Nova Lima

A buddy of mine and myself grabbed a bite here... The food and service was awesome!

I have passed up this place many times but when I tell you if I am ever looking for a burger and I am in the Menominee Falls/ Germantown area, this will be my first place to consider. I went for lunch one day and it checked all the boxes (service, good food and price).

Have never had a bad experience here, staff is always friendly and checks in frequently!!

The tap list is fairly expansive. Ive had a couple instances where it was either in the line or in the barrel too long. Most if the beers are a hit. The food menu isnt too expansive, but it is great. The burgers, cheese curds, and pub grub are go tos. Stay away from the pizzas; they seem to lack flavor and are undercooked. Also, the most recent addition, so give it time.Update: I havent had a bad or stale beer in a while. All my friends I habe brought here love the burgers. My wife is picky, but the cali or jalapeño poppet burger witb sweet potato fries are he faves.

Many beers on tap and beer flight is a great way to try many different beers. Food is typically pub entrees. Service was slower.

Nice, friendly staff. Lots of craft beer options based on flavor profile. If I was Menomonee Falls resident I would definitely make this a regular pub stop.

My friends and I took a table outside for 6 people. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come out and take drink orders but no food orders. The drinks didnt show up so we ordered inside after waiting another 40 minutes. The bartender was rude and said she couldnt take our cash to close out because she was busy when there were 4 people are the bar. No one came back to our table or cared that we were even there, but as soon as we tried to leave she chased us down because we forgot to pay even though she refused to take the cash. It seemed like the workers cared more about the bags tournament than the actual people trying to eat and drink there.

I finally got to Mr. Brews Taphouse and I was not disappointed. Along with a house salad and Sprecher Rootbeer I had their Turkey Burger with Cranberry Aiole and it is to die for. It passes the butter knife tender test. I am outside and it is wonderful. Come and enjoy yourself here. Its so worth it.

The Kentucky bourbon classic is one of the best burgers Ive ever had. Its the first burger in years I did not have to add any thing to it. My son and I both loved it!

Food was really good and so was the selection of beers. Our server was really friendly and informative!

I had lunch here and dined in. The staff was attentive without being smothering and the food was really good. They are a bar so Id say expect bar food, like burgers and deep fried things. I personally had a bacon Mac and cheese burger and it was delicious. I did need a fork to eat the portions that fell off the burger. So plan on using a few napkins if you get that burger.

I love the Impossible burger and salad. The restaurant is very clean.Outdoor seating.

Ive eaten here twice now with my husband and both times have been excellent. Burgers are tasty and HOT when served, lots of choices of beer, and server was very friendly and attentive. Will continue coming here whenever we are in the mood for a burger!

great service, food lasted even though I took it to go and waited a half hour to leave. Still delicious when I got home.

Just paid $13 for the smallest , blandest Chicken sandwich on earth!! I should have to walked 5 min away for a better one !!!

Like most places not enough staff, but the food was still great and very friendly bartender/ waitress. Will be back for sure.

2/4 beers in my flight were stale. Told us it was 2$ off flights, and it was advertised on the wall, then after we were finished told us they no longer did the deal. Wouldnt honor the price they told us when we ordered. Food was just okay.

We really enjoy having one of their excellent burgers when stopping by for lunch or dinner. We often call ahead so our wait time to eat is very short. They have a huge beer list and always have sports on the 4 big screens throughout the bar. The staff is super friendly and I can say confidently weve never had a bad experience here.

Mr Brews taphouse always has a great selection of beer and great bar food. Its a nice place to chill and unwind and have a good brew

Stopped in to try some beers they were good . Ordered some cheese curds and sweet potato fries with a cheddar seasoning so delicious. Went kinda full, so definitely gotta go back again and try more of the food. Staff was friendly too

Food was hot and kitchen is very efficient. Build your burger was great. Choice of seasoning on fries. We got cheese curds served with ranch. It is a true tap house with a very good selection of beers. We got 2 flights of our choice. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to coming back next weekend. Kid friendly as well.

I am very pleased with my first experience here. It was a bit of a chore to finally get my hands on their new fried chicken sandwich (between being out of stock and it not being available on the online ordering system), but once I did, it was incredible. It was very different from any fried chicken sandwich Ive had from anywhere, and I absolutely will be back as a regular as long as they keep it on the menu. I also got their chicken tenders and those were also a pleasant surprise. They were quite large and delicious, and they provided ample sauce on the side. In addition, the service there is very friendly and welcoming. The woman I spoke to remembered speaking with me previously about them being out of the sandwich, and assured me that they would get the online system corrected so that is available to order.

Based on just the food- delicious! However, the staff wasnt great. Didnt even really talk to us and was more interested in their "regulars". Didnt feel like explaining how you obtain regulars... The owner didnt really smile or say much other than when we paid our bill and left she told us to have a good day. Kind of annoying when youre paying for food and sitting at the bar you want to be able to talk and interact somewhat with the staff and that just didnt happen at all. Wont go back due to staff.

Our waitress was very attentive and had a wonderful personality. We only had appetizers and they hit the spot. The beer selection was great, even for good German beer.

They just added a new Friday chicken sandwich to the menu. It was the best I ever had. Better than Popeyes and Chick-fil-A.

Nice place. Seems to be appreciated by the local community. Very impressive beer list for a bar that far out into the suburbs---both volume and variety of breweries. I did not have a chance to try food. Bawere gracious. gracious and attentive.

Staff was more interested in partying with themselves than serving their actual, paying customers. Twice a beer was poured and left under the tap while the bartender socialized with other staff. After t minutes I finally asked for the beer to be served. Food and beer was okay, but not worth the terrible service.

Love this place! The employees are awesome - service with smiles and great personalities. Food is just okay in my opinion….we don’t typically go for food but for the GREAT beer selection and friendly crew.

They have a great patio, lots of TV s, and a nice beer selection. Server was spread thin, but super sweet. Kitchen didnt bake our pizza long enough, so we sent back. Second time was a charm, they were tasty.

Great beer! Good food. Terrible service when Patty the manager is behind the bar. She seems annoyed when you ask to try a sample and doesn’t seem to know much about the beer as she never recommends what to try. Also when she is the bartender it seems that no one else will help customers at the bar. When patty is not there it’s a 4/5 star rating but she seems to be there all the time. Last time I was there was this week and me and my girlfriend sat with an empty beer for over 15 minutes even though there were only 5 people at the bar. Unfortunately it seems every time I go patty is there. Most of the other bartenders are much more friendly snd helpful on trying new beers.

Mr. Brews was awesome when they first opened. Had plenty of good times trying the awesome beer selection and chatting with staff. Burgers were awesome and apps were great. Fast forward to today. Been there a few times in the past two months and man - rough. Service was horrible. Unless you are known by the owners, good luck with anyone even noticing you are there. Burgers are cooked to death and super dry. Apps are soggy. Super disappointed because we used to love this place! The saving grace is the beer selection....if you can get someone to serve it to you.

This place was a pleasant surprise for me as I never knew it existed! My brother took me here last week and the food was excellent. We had a couple appetizers to start and each got a meal. Both courses were delicious. Cheese curds, fried Cauliflower plus my burger and fries had me full and happy. The server was super cute and smiley and was polite throughout our time at the Restaurant. I dont drink alcohol but my brother really enjoyed the beer menu and the selections available. My soda was delicious lol. Thank you guys/gals. We will be back soon.

Great location, impressive selection of beers, clean, food was good (fries are a bit soggyand very affordable. This would have been a great night had it not been for the extremly poor service. Ordered drinks and a bucket of beer (great deal), watched the server go to the bar and proceed to do nothing. It took 20 min for her to bring back 1 drink (which was wrongand the bucket of beer. I would be great with this if it were busy but there were only a few people there as you can see from the picture. Had the service been good totally would be a 5 star. Server made you feel like you dont matter and you can just wait.

The beer selection at this tap house could bring a smile to anyone’s face and the prices are worth the time to swing by and visit. Their selection of beer feels like a tour around Lake Michigan’s different kinds of breweries. I would suggest this spot to taste a few prior to visiting one of those breweries.The service from which I have received at Mr. Brews Taphouse reflects the stars I have given them. Upon entry I was greeted, ordered a beer, and served quickly. Over 15 minutes after the beer was empty, I was finally served another. Within my 15 minutes of waiting I realized there were more than enough employees (with little to no customersworking for this kind of service not to happen, especially for someone sitting at the bar.Their food is just ok, my guest and I had ordered a burger and the weirdest part about the burgers were the fact that the vegetables tasted better then everything else on our trays. Both of our fries were slightly soggy, and the iron press taphouse logo on the bun leads to false hope to a desirable burger.Clean place, nice décor, generous amount of parking, but a convenient spot that looks good and has good beer will not bring returning customers if the service is not there, and food is below average.

The food was great. I had a peanut butter burger and it was delicious. The staff was very helpful. They have a ton of beer choices and they have a loyalty club that you can earn a point for every dollar spent. I didnt join but I should of.

Drove up from Chicago to work here this week and found this place across the street from my hotel room. Love the large selection of craft beer. Too many to try them all in one night I will definitely have to come back.

Awesome beer selection! Sometimes they run out and that’s a little disappointing, also sometimes service can be a little slow even when not busy... only reason why they get 4 stars. Food is just ok, focus on the wide variety of beer more than anything else! Also if you aren’t a beer or cider fan this place is not for you they don’t carry other alcoholic beverages which is just fine for me!!! *Edit* they now offer cocktails as well!!

Great ambience - terrific assortment of on tap brews. Take out orders available. Terrific place to watch the game and break bread with the guys.

Great place to meet locals and a tremendous amount of variety in beer. Food is good and filling. Salads are really nice and fresh.

This is unequivocally the best burger and beer joint that I’ve been to in Wisconsin. Just incredible. I’ve no doubts that they’ll be winning burger contests in the near future .

The warm, crisp, fresh cut chips are the best Ive ever had. Honest! The Kentucky Bourbon Classic burger was moist and flavorful; the toasted bun was buttery. Together, they made a nicely-sized portion. Nothing huge like at other places. This is a sports bar thats clean, lively and not at all uncomfortable for one person to eat alone. The service was slow at first but the young man behind the bar who took my order made up for the earlier inattention. Great place to grab a quick lunch during the holidays cause the Taphouse is next to the brand new Whitestone Station shopping mall in Menomonee Falls.

Good burgers. Good beer. Great service. Food was very fresh, hot and tasty. The New Holland Dragons Milk beer was quite tasty as well. Loved it.
