Great service and people, the best burgers and patato salad

Best burgers and people in town.

Decent support bar with lots of tables shuffle board and of course gambling. Theyve got lots of nice cold beer on tap and super friendly bartenders, not a bad place to stop.

If I could , Id give this burger a negative 10! The worst burger I have ever eaten. I asked nicely for a well done burger. This is what I got.The buns were burnt, the meat was bloody. Everything was disgusting! I do not recommend this place to anyone, unless you want to die from the bloody shi#$. The fries were cold and super chewy.For 13.99 it should have included a a small drink.The two women were not polite or courtious at all. The service was extremely disappointing. Do Not eat here. I wasted $45.00 on this meal. Never again!

These margaritas were awful. Blender broken, then go to Walmart and buy a new one.

Update: They are still serving great food for lunch. Check out their lemonade, its so refreshing. They also have a nice green salad with their house dressing, which is an Italian style. Very nice. Had their special today. It was excellent. My friends love their chicken wings and their fries. Around 8pm last night, friends invited me to try Mr Smiths. We asked the bartender for drinks and menus then sat at a table. Our server, Peg came by a few minutes later and we were asking about the various appetizers,. She became irritated and when we asked about the tacos, so she through the menu at us and walked off. She came back 30 minutes later to ask if we wanted something but we were over it. Im a server and have never in all of my years been treated like that! I expressed my disappointment and instead of any apology, again she just walked off. Ridiculous!

I absolutely love it .. All those sweet beautiful kind Bar , Server, Cook and Manager always brighten my day !! And the best food every thing on the menu rocks

Im not really into bars but when I was staying at a hotel just a round the corner from Smiths I found myself frequenting there. They have a good staff and the few different things I have had for lunch or dinner surprised me how much I liked them. They also have video poker.

With all thats going on right now, covid and wallet being stolen, went in with a copy of drivers license, front and back... That works everywhere else, I was asked to leave. Mind you I do visit frequently. Just sharing my experience of the lack of sympathy and sensitivity from this establishment. If the police and DMV have the understanding, this place should be full of grace during this difficult time. Sad to say they will no longer have my business.

Great spot for a quick bite to eat, grab a drink & maybe even play slider ball. Sports are always on, & music is also an option if you are wanting to dance a little. Mr Smiths has video poker, as well as non gambling arcade style games. This spot is certainly considered a good, "local bar".

Looks a bit, uh... from the outside, but quite a different matter on the inside. Friendly staff. Best meal value, $8.50 for a hot off the grill double cheese burger (your choicewith fresh cut, crispy curly fries. Quality ingredients. Daily specials posted on the chalkboard and a Mr. Smiths Famous potato salad. Been in business over forty years.

Good spacious place to just sit and socialize while enjoying your favorite cocktail. I have to try thier well known Hambuger still and whats available on the food menu. A clean and good set up for your visit.

Sandwiches and Potato Salad are AWESOME. Green salad not so much. Got our appetizer after main meal was served. Good service.

Medium atmosphere, comfortable, laid back. They have a reasonable bar with microbrew ales, sandwiches and also tables you can be served at. They also have a section with slot machines. I dont go there very often but I enjoy it when I do.

Shocked and confused by what I witnessed at Mr. Smith bar tonight and I understand its a bar but I saw the bartenders stand by and do absolutely nothing when a drunk, angry, crazy man (30sgot into multiple peoples face and threatened them including a 60yr old lady and myself (late30)! For what I still have no idea nor did anyone else know this man. When the bartenders finally got him and his crazy girlfriend that threatened me personally after he did out of the bar they asked myself the older lady and some other guy to leave as well! Thats not the part that really bothered me I can understand wanting everything to be calm and booting everyone out but they didnt offer to walk any of us out and not only did I get harassed on my way out once I was in my car the guy was taking pictures of my car which is fine with me but his girlfriend tried to punch me thru my window!My big question is why did the bartenders not stop this angry couple when they first started yelling or even when he was verbally abusive to a sweet older lady!

This far is a very casual bar. Great atmosphere with a very friendly staff. I usually go to get the bacon cheeseburger. I will even call in orders to pick up food. Has one of the best burgers in town as far as bars go.

Very nice place awesome hamburgers and the bomb jalapeno poppers. And Peg a very beautiful and great customer service representative of Smiths. And super loyal to her company. I wanted one of their coors light little carriers shaped like a six pack. But she would not let me even buy one because her manager wasnt there to approve it. I would give her a job anytime.. Not many other people would have turned down even the $ 10 I offered for it.. Cuddos Peg..

Friendly. Comfortable. Very casual. People talking and having a good time. Not a tweek shop. The staff is great. The food is good. Plenty of items and daily specials to choose from. Lottery video, keno, pool and misc. bar type games. Several TVs and lots of pub style tables/seating. Plenty of parking in a well lit area. Good place to meet up with friends or relax alone on the sofa in the sitting area watching a game, nursing your favorite libation.

Mr. Smiths is authentic Sports Bar near Riverside & Jackson. Usually frequented by local celebrities and x-athletes. The menu includes the usual sports-bar fare, but also has a few unique items like chicken gizzards (fantasticand seasonal daily specials. The potato salad is excellent and Fridays has a Great clam chowder featured. Good service and well-priced food & drinks.

Awesome potatoe salad, we had the chili dog and Chipotle chicken sandwich! They both were really good, chicken could be a little spicer.

Great local sports bar, great food, best bartenders in town that will practically meet any request for your time there. You can see any game no matter where you sit. Try their almost famous potato salad, but you wont get the recipe !!!

Went there the other night with a friend and had fish and chips and it was superb. Small, home town type bar with a pool table, big ass tvs for sports, game room, and best of all was the staff. Very friendly, made us feel at home. Only con is the freakish tiny bar. Fun place and something for everyone.
