The service and food were great and the atmosphere even better. The bartender, Alexine (spell checkwas a pleasure to have around. She was very nice and welcoming to everyone at the bar. She did however give this one guy with a handsome beard a very hard time, though it sounded like they knew each other and he was a regular. Their fun banter and witty remarks made for a great atmosphere and plenty of laughs. Would love to come back and witness round 2. Bearded guy doesnt have a chance at winning!

It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were really pleasant and the food was great. Located within the mall meant that I was able to continue by business without having to go far. Definitely recommend!

Food was great. I dont eat red meat often but decided to get the steak with mashed and veggies. Easily one of the best Ive had. The place was a little loud with the music blasting and our ears were still ringing an hour later. Not a good place to go if youre going to have a conversation with someone in the evening.And a reminder that they auto tip 18%. We missed it and ended up giving a pretty big tip overall. (Not a big deal for us but it could be for others looking to enjoy a nice meal once in a while if on a budget.)

Chicken sandwich was great but salad was very dry had to ask for extra dressing. Friendly staff and great location.

Its a SQ1 mall location, busy dinner time. We arrived without reservations but they managed to have us seated in less than 5 min. That set the mood for a good night. Our server Simran told us about specials and recommended options and even provided ideas about what we should try. She was very pleasant and attentive even though they were visibly busy we had excellent service. We choose typical dishes so it was a classic cheeseburger and 1lb chicken wings. Although I had a medium hot Vs mild sauce issue they were well prepared and order was corrected by the manager. Respect for that! Overall, exceptional attentiveness and service, tasty and fresh prepared food and exceptional management and staff makes this place an excellent choice as a dinner venue. Would definetely come again!

Came here for lunch with my family, best steak salad I’ve ever had! Jordyn was our server for the afternoon and her service was phenomenal. She was always checking on us to make sure we were okay and recommended the calamari which was amazing! The GM even came to check on us which was great to see. Made us feel special! Definitely would recommend Moxie’s to anyone and everyone!! :)

For a mall chain restaurant, this location is very good. I come here whenever i am in square1 shopping. Usually sit at bar and have a few drinks. Bartenders are very good and attentive. Alexine and Daniella are very good at what they do and make you feel welcome. The food menu had drastically improved and has a lot of choices for everyone. Would reccommend.

The ambience is awesome here. Its has a huge space inside with a dining area and a bar. It also has a patio outside. You would love the vibe here, more-so, on a weekend. I had to wait here for about 5-10 minutes before I could get a table on a busy weekend but it was worth it.I had pasta with large flat rice noodles and prawns in it. It tasted great. The quantity was just about right for a single person for roughly two servings. It is not often that I love pastas but this one was great. I also had desserts here, they were equally good. Will visit again for sure.

We love this place, even for a family with kids. The service is efficient from the desk to your seat. The food is great, one of the few who knows how to grill steak properly. Front desk to your server are very friendly as well!

This location is gorgeous! Our particular server was so pleasant. There was also another gentleman who served us our food who was such a sweetheart. The hostess at the front with the red hair was so charming and sweet. The food and drinks were all so delicious. I would definitely come back here.

Surprisingly they have good vegan options. Food and drinks are reasonable. Service was quick.

This location has excellent client service. Sharnika and Sydney were so pleasant and could tell they love their job :the food was incredible. The steak was cooked to perfection. I very much enjoyed my time eating at this location no matter how many times I go the food just gets better. I came here with five of my friends and there was a little mishap where water was spilled and I wanted to thank our waiter who did not make it more of an embarrassing seen than it was she was amazing and helped us clean it up so when you go there I hope you ask for Tanya D. she was the perfect waitress and continued to ask us how our food was, and if we were missing anything. Overall, this trip was amazing as was the food quality, and the customer service. Can not wait to go back.

First time at a Moxies and I loved it. Met with some old friends there, and the food was delicious. A bit noisy but I can understand since everyone wants a taste of the food.

My friend and I had a good lunch experience here on July 5. Mackenzie was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, there was an issue with their drink machine so only water was available as a non-alcoholic beverage. I had the blackened chicken burger and my friend had the Beyond Meat burger. Both were delicious. The truffle fries were excellent as well as the dipping sauce. My only reservation about returning here is the price of the food - $20 for burger and fries is quite steep in my opinion. Otherwise, great location and atmosphere for a casual meal with friends or a date.

Unfortunately my girlfriends and I (6 ppldidnt have a good time on the night of June 17, 2022. This outing was the first time getting together in many years and I decided to meet at the Square One location for dinner. Big mistake! Long story short: music was too loud, ladys WC was untidy, service was very slow, and one of my gf ordered a veggie burger without raw onions (she is allergic to itand she still got raw onions anyway 😔. She had small allergic reaction there and last it to the next day. We got 2 free deserts for the mistake! In general food was tasty and well presented, however the very slow service was a turn off for us. We arrived at 7 pm, we left the restaurant at 10:30 pmWe are not coming back 💜🧘🏽‍♀️🙏🏾

Server was horrible. During last call the server was being extremely technical for no reason. She’s lucky she got a tip. She wouldn’t serve our table 2 drinks at last call to one customer because she said their policy is 1 drink per customer. Little did she know that I have my smart serve and had to educate her on the alcohol policy in a restaurant/bar. I wasn’t trying to be rude but what she did was uncalled for. She went and called the manager who confirmed the 2 drink policy in front of us.A little training could go a long way, 5 star reviews and repeat business which I’ll take elsewhere.

Sirloin steak with garden salad, garlic mashed potatoes and roasted peppers with zucchini.Outdoor dining was great, excellent service and great tasting food. A nice treat if you want to spend a little more than average.

We had the pleasure of being served by Raj. Raj was/is kind, wholesome, and his service was quick. Head chef Shayne is running his kitchen beautifully, it was/is really obvious that he cares about the food he sends out. We ordered nachos, unlike other restaurants, these nachos were actually loaded. My husband ordered a cheeseburger, the vegetables in it were fresh, the meat was seasoned perfectly. My son and I ordered steaks, that were cooked at a perfect medium. Highly recommend you visit and try the food and service for yourself. The desserts were also very, very good. The meals we had and the desserts we enjoyed were truly amazing. The service was something we really enjoyed as well.

This is a great spot to have a formal eating out or just doing lunch with a friend. The food is excellent and the services is even better. Our waitress Nicole was so excellent and the manager is a blessing also. If you are in square one this is absolutely awesome place or you can just make it into a special occasion.

Great resturant to come and enjoy a tasty meal! All the dishes tasted excellent, and we left stuffed! Our server was an absolute blast too! If I venture out that direction again, I wouldnt hesitate to eat at Moxies again!

Had the day off and met up with my cousin so decided to hit up Moxies. Weather was great and inside had a decent crowd inside.Decided to grab the shrimp tacos while my cousin tried the crispy chicken sandwich. My cousin enjoyed her food, she said it was delicious and filling. I’m not usually a fan of tacos because they tend to be the corn flour ones, but these were delicious. A little much in the toppings but very flavourful. We finished it off by grabbing white chocolate brownies which are always a hit.

Absolutely had a great time at this location. We were here on a Friday night, the music was booming and the energy was so positive. The happy hour food is really great and affordable. I would love if they could expand their happy hour menu to a few more food options. The lime margarita is really tasty as well (and strong). The server could have been around to check up on us more often as it was really hard to get a hold of her if we wanted to order more.

Great food and service. Even though it was busy when we went, food was great, well-presented and the wait wasn’t long. I don’t usually get dessert, but I highly recommend the white brownie!

This was by far the BEST restaurant experience I’ve ever had! My classmates and I visited this location today as we were celebrating finishing our last semester at college. We were a decent sized group - 8 of us and the service was fast and seamless. A friend of mine wasn’t fond of one of the sauces in her dish and was nervous to ask for it to be made without it but when asked, the chef came from the kitchen to talk to her to apologize about it and asked if there’s anything he can do to make the dish taste amazing for her and provided her with some alternatives (I thought it was so thoughtful the chef took the time to do that, I’ve never seen that before). What made this even more unforgettable was the fact that our waitress and the manager surprised our whole group by providing us with 2 on-the-house white chocolate brownie dishes with the words “Congratulations” written on the plate. This was such an amazing and thoughtful surprise it shocked all of us that just from a simple conversation about our day with the staff that they were able to do that for us. Such an amazing experience, will be back again. Also shout out to our waitress Olivia! You were so nice and very efficient :)

I love Moxies..I go there very often..Usually to get drinks and appetizers with my sister, to celebrate our birthdays, just any event. The food is good and I like it there. Lately however its more miss than anything else. Last time I was there I was charged the wrong price. I told the waitress and she told me no thats the price. After leaving I realise I was wrong..went back to get a refund, there was no apology, no sorry for your inconvenience, I was greeted with an attitude more than anything else. My time before that..I asked for my steak well done, it kept coming out red, they took it back twice and the same thing each time so I ended up sitting there through lunch without a meal, it came after everyone finished eating, I ended up packing it to go and still ended up forgetting it in the table. So basically I paid $40 for nothing. I hope to get better service because I like Moxies, the prices have increased but I guess you can attribute that to Covid.

It is a nice restaurant, big and clean. Music is not too loud so you can easily talk (or check your work email). I ordered the rigatoni with mushroom sauce and even though I looove mushrooms I wasn’t delighted with the dish. Maybe it needs to be more “saucy”… may e.In regards the service, I have mixed feelings. The dish came fairly quick but my server didn’t check up on me as often as she should, even though the restaurant was just with a few guests.Anyhow, I am planning to give the restaurant another chance.

We came here on a Sunday evening service was extremely slow, the server did not come back to check on us and was not very happy which brought down our evening, the steak salads were extremely sweet which was uncalled for. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else.Could definitely have chosen a better birthday restaurant.

Dinner with the husband. He had the BTS CRISPY CHKN SANDWICH. It was average – kinda old skool. I had the NACHOS and they were FANTASTIC. I was drinking Creemore Lager and he had the "ZERO-PROOF" Pineapple Soda, which was very tasty. Its always a nice atmosphere. The service is usually pretty good. We keep coming back, when we visit the mall or see a movie across the street.

Many things withstand the test of time but the menu at Moxies is unfortunately not one of them. From my previous review of the mango chicken, the dish has lost its luster and I assume other items have followed suit. There is no value proposition here given the prices and a dine for two will set you back around $70 or thereabouts.Nachos with a pint or salad bowls will be your best best when visiting with friends and there is that extra nice touch of hospitality for a pretty penny.Personally, there is not much to warrant a return from us unless they shake up their menu drastically.Edit:What do we feel is missing?Vegetarian options. There are maybe two right now.Consistent food. If you change a menu item, give it a different name.

Awful. Overpriced, unsatisfactory. They covered my free steak for missing the ground beef on my $32 NACHOS! (THIRTY TWO! Look at what I got for that.)Which I did appreciate and raised this to two stars. But the 7oz steak was tiny and fatty, and I was just as unsatisfied. Wont be returning.

Over the weekend I had a chance to visit Moxies located in Square One with my friends. The ambience of the restaurant was classy yet casual at the same time. A perfect place to visit with friends and family. We ordered the Calamari as an appetizer to share, it was my first time trying Calamari but Moxies didnt disappoint~ The dish came with two mouthwatering dips - garlic & spicy mayo and with tempura shrimp added into the dish as well. It was an explosion of flavors and textures and definitely a must try! I ended up ordering the Chicken Alfredo for myself, which was made up of pan roasted chicken, tagliatelle noodles, grana padano, asiago cream & chives, with a side of garlic bread. Visited Moxies to celebrate early Christmas dinner with bunch of friends.. around 25. The staff was so courteous and patient. They even gave us individual bills upon request. The place was clean and well distanced as per COVID rules. Food was great as usual.

Awesome Calamari, my friend and I had a couple of salads, one steak chimichurri and a salmon Cobb. Staff was very friendly and food was served in timely manner.

My friend and I were seated inside right away which was nice. The chimichurri steak salad and tuna poke bowl were both generous sizes and delicious.Service couldve been better though. No one came back to refill our waters and we had to ask someone else for the bill because our waiter disappeared.

It’s my go to place when I feel like going out for good food. The burger is really good, the sweet potato fries are delicious. I love their chicken Caesar salad. I didn’t like their roast beef in pretzel bun that much though

Went here for appetizers and drinks after waking around in the mall. Food was good I recommend the tuna stack and fries. Guacamole was not seasoned at all tho. But overall experience was nice and they have good covid procedure.

Today September 28 I came from Blue Mountain, my friend surprised me with a nice lunch invitation for Moxie, I came with my baby dog, I don’t believed I can go inside with her… the hostess was very polite and nice, give us a table. Then the server suggested me a delicious Flash Roasted Half Chicken and my friend had New York steak, delicious! I recommend this place.

Super fast service, delicious fresh food, the steak and the grilled chicken were amazing. The cocktails were also really nice. The portions are generous. Will go back for sure.

Great experience. Service was prompt and attentive. There was a small issue with the order, which Jordyn quickly rectified and the manager on duty followed up with an apology for the error. This was very much appreciated as mistakes do happen and it was greatly appreciated ownership of the situation was accepted. I will definitely return as I think the burger is one of the best around.

My first visit at Square One. In main, I ordered Steak Frites (medium done). It was flavorful and cooked perfectly (serving size should be a bit bigger 😛). In dessert, ate their signature White Chocolate Brownie served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. It was heavenly. I could not finish it all. It’s not for one person. Haha.And the servers are friendly and cheerful. They kept asking me how I was doing. 🙏🏽

Went here for some dinner with some colleagues after work and iwe enjoyed it. It was really hot though even tho we were inside and we did see some flies flyign around. Our server was great and the food was good. I got the steak salad and tasted great.
