Moxie's Grill & Bar in Dartmouth

Went last Saturday for dinner with friends. And was told before we received our food that we were being too loud. Music was very loud plus other groups of people talking over the music. Very disappointing our server was displeased with Managers behavior. Unsereal!

Wow great service from Clair, wonderful food, try the full rack of ribs and the key lime pie is like your in Florida 🐬 Moxies menu is amazing loads of food for every pallet.Great food well doneMark & Shelagh

We went out as a group of 6, made reservations at Moxies for 7:30 pm. We arrived and the place was busy and the music was loud which was no issue at all. We were all sat at a booth in the bar area had 1 drink each and ordered food. The food came and the manager Steve arrived with it and was very abrupt and off putting and explained everyone wants us to be quiet and we are disturbing the whole place.We are a group of mid 40s adults that were laughing and taking pictures and talking about whats new. No cursing no leaving our table and the tables around were just as loud. We spent $350 in less than an hour on meals and apps and 1 drink each. I am appalled at how it was addressed to us and how we seemed to be singled out. Even our server felt awful for us. Never again.

Moxies always delivers on every front. I had the tuna poke bowl which was absolutely delicious and my husbands ordered the blacken chicken burger., which was devoured ! Also, Moxies coffee is wonderful, it is one of the coffees I can drink black and enjoy it!

Waiting time was between 10-15 minutes around 8:30 PM (which was not bad), however, everyone (max. 8 peoplethat sat in the same waiting area got served complimentary drinks except for me and my friend which seemed odd.The pineapple margarita was very nice and the laksa noodle was also decent and affordable.

Came in on a Saturday night at 730, and we were laughing and having a great time until the General Manager Steve came over and said we were being too loud and to be quiet. It’s a Saturday night, at 7:30 in the bar. The music was pumping louder than us.The table of girls behind us were shocked this even happened and said they couldn’t believe we were just told in a rude way to be quiet and they didn’t think we were being loud at all.We were laughing….not being obnoxious not swearing our even left our booth.Ruined our entire night out. Never in my life have I been told to be quiet in a bar. We will never be back.

A group of us( 12)were there for a 25th work anniversary. The waitress was fabulous she was attentive, upbeat, enthusiastic. She was amazing at looking after all our needs. The food was delicious. Our group had a fantastic time celebrating!!

We had a tournament in Kitchener and between games the team stopped in to have a bite to eat. They accommodated all 15 of us without hesitation. Staff, mainly our server Veronica was wonderful and the food was very good. Well be back for next years tournament for sure. Oh and we won the tournament as well.

The food was amazing, the staff was very friendly, and the food came out fairly quickly and was hot. The kids dessert was served over dry ice and made really cool smoke, my daughter loved it. We had a great time

I love this place. Went there for Dinner on a Sunday. Seating was smooth. The waitress is so friendly. We ordered Nachos as a starter. It is absolutely AMAZING! Make sure you order as a group because the portion is huge. We also got Burger and steak and both were great as well. The vibe is so nice

Fabulous service with good ambience.Food was decent.

Food was very delicious. Ordered the steak with the mushroom sauce and enjoyed every second of it. I was sick after eating it though. It probably was my body reacting to the sauce but i dont have any known allergies or intolerance so didnt give it 5 stars.

Fantastic! Had the ceasar salad with prawns, very tasty! Hubby had the strip loin, again very good. Star was the beef dip with sweet potato fries. Not too salty and beef was lean, very good.

Devin was an amazing host! Took care of our table of 15 with grace, efficiency, and a lot of good jokes. Thoroughly enjoyed the service and we were well taken care of. 10/10 service 👌🏽

This is a great place to eat. Drinks, food and atmosphere is amazing. Ive been here a few times and definitely plan on going back.

The food, waitress and environment was nice and cozy.

There for lunch at noon on a Friday. Not too busy. Out of calamari, no crackers for soup. Server was efficient but not a happy camper. Entries were just ok

Service was amazing and they were so friendly. The atmosphere was really nice aswell. But honestly The steak was pretty bland in flavour. The burger was good but also rather bland. Parm fries tho is a definite recommend 👌 same goes to their desserts just fantastic.

I went to last weekend with my friends. I ordered steak. But, plat was poor. Steak (7oz), fries and arugula was $34. How much empty space on the plate? So, I was little disappointed.I usually went to lunch time (this time was dinnerand different locations too. Thats why, maybe?!Pastas sauce was great! And dessert was White chocolate brownie. It was great too.

We came for lunch and highly enjoyed the food for the most part! We come here on a regular basis and highly enjoy the salmon plate, bison 🦬 burger 🍔 and those fries with the dill dip are freaking outstanding! We also love the option of a cup of soup with our meal! And we use to love the spinach and artichoke dip but they changed it and we arent fans now but we could be picky just because we were so use to the old recipe haha. Service was also on point and excellent and the place is always clean and professional. Definitely coming back again

Anna was an absolutely amazing server yesterday when I went for lunch. She was patient and very polite. Keep up the great hospitality Anna! 🙌 I will definitely come again. The bean tacos were absolutely delicious!

Best sweet potato fries ever! Id love to know what they put in their garlic dip. So delicious. Only recommendation would be a better desert menu, but other than that, this just become our favourite date night restaurant. Great food and service.

STAN! He is an absolute superstar at this restaurant. Showing so much kindness and care- what an attentive and wonderful host! If there’s a negative star, I would give it to Moxies @ 385 Fairway st Rd S .Terrible customer services. We ordered 5 steaks (one medium well and 4 well done).First of all: all came back the same and not even well done “you could see the blood - so how is this well done?”Secondly: the waitress (Clair: I may be wrong in spellingtook like forever to come backThirdly; which is the worst part; the manager (Carl: apologies if the spelling is wrong did nothing.They did not fix the order and did not do complements and I am very very disappointed!!!!So it’s a HUGE NO NO

I really enjoyed their food, especially the truffle fries and the tuna poke bowl

Went there for our anniversary as she had never been and wanted to try. Our server was spectacular. Prompt, courteous to ask if there were any dietary restrictions or allergies before ordering, came around often despite being busy and helped eloquently describe a few menu items that influenced our decisions. The food was delicious. Portion sizes could have been bigger, but an app and an entree will leave you satiated. What impressed us most was the speed. From our drinks to our meals, everything came out lightning quick.While you dont have to save Moxies for just a special occasion, it certainly did make ours extra special. Cheers!

I just moved to Kitchener and I decided to stop here for lunch. The food was great and the wait staff was awesome. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend

Went to Moxies Aug 19th with my daughter. We were seated, water brought to the table and order taken. After sitting for a while and talking we realized about 30 minutes had gone by and we had not been served any of the drinks we ordered or the food.By this time now I was not interested in eating. I just wanted to leave. While sitting and waiting I also noticed how dirty the glass partition/fencing around the patio was. Looking down even more I noticed all the weeds around the partition/fencing. Had I not been looking around so much waiting for drinks and food I would not have noticed how dirty the place looked. The manager would only credit the drink and appetizers but by that time I wasnt hungry anymore. I asked for a complimentary dinner for another day as I had had enough of the place now but the manager would not do that. I walked out of the restaurant. Suffice it to say, I wont be back.

First time visiting this Moxies on Saturday night and it was such a great experience! Jordan, our server was great at recommending a lot of variations of items on the menus, seven offering up drink suggestions just based on staples such as a dirty martini with titos vodka! On top of the amazing service the food that came out from the kitchen was amazing, shout outs the kitchen. The vibe is like a lounge with good music and comfortable seats, even with the amount of patrons each server had I felt all of them were on their a-game and super helpful to add to the experience.

The menu wasnt enticing. The happy hour 1 sucked too. Waited forever for entrees and appetizers.But the waitress was really keen on finding out our did allergies tho, even though we had none

I heard a lot of good things about this place. I got a great recommendation from a friend about their burger and I just had to try it out.They have a wonderful combo of Burger and Wings. This meal is filling and can fill two people. I always get the Burger and Wings combo which comes with two cheddar bacon burgers, fries and wings ( I always opt for the salt and pepper wing flavour as I enjoy hot and spicy meals).I cannot count how many times I have ordered from this place but I do not intend to stop soon. They have really good juicy burgers.

Nachos were really amazing and it was in huge quantity loved it. Also the white chocolate brownie was really tasty. Had a great time. Definitely recommend others.

Came here for a team dinner with coworkers, got the cheeseburger but asked for no bacon, and my burger arrived with bacon. They took it back and said they would make a fresh one, i asked for it to go, because i figured it would take them awhile to make a new one. I got the new one within 10 minutes packaged to go, low and behold, its the same burger with still bacon on it. I understand if youre busy, but if you make a mistake, own up to it. If that was an allergy, that 100% would have been a lawsuit. Completely unacceptable, had to throw it out. Thanks for the dinner. Now we know not to have any more team dinners at Moxies👍

Best dining experience i had recently. I was Surprised to see an Indian dish in the menu and it was scrumptious. My friend asked for a recommendation for a cocktail and he loved Sadis choice. Nice ambience and cleanliness. Felt a little expensive than chucks but it is really worth it. And Sadi was really nice and helpful. Bartenders did their part amazingly.

Nice layout and friendly wait staff. Food options are very diverse which is nice. Had the bite size ribs which I felt were to fatty and you had to really work at it to tear of the bone. They were a nice size but not the best. Also had the guacamole dip which was served fresh and was delicious but had to order more chips as you didnt get a lot to start with. I did find it to be pricey so be prepared for that.

The food, cocktails, and service are all outstanding. The poke bowl is better than anywhere else in town. We had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager Steve and what a class act! Exceptional experience abs we will be back often!

Restaurant looks nice like every other Moxies Ive been to, however food is fairly overpriced for the quality. Went here recently with my partner for lunch who ordered the Cobb salad, and it was the worst Cobb salad he had ever had. It didnt come presented in the traditional convenient way, it was served on a literal quarter disc of iceberg lettuce. It was more of a patty of lettuce with the rest of the ingredients piled on, topped with a dry piece of chicken for an additional charge.I had the beef dip which was fine, nothing to write home about.Service was a little slow despite the restaurant being pretty quiet and our server seemed bored when interacting with us.Overall, its not the worst restaraunt weve been to, or even the worst Moxies however we wouldnt bother coming back.

Went here for a work Christmas party. The food was absolutely amazing. The location and staff were quite nice as well. Well worth the price. Ill definitely be going again.EDIT: I went again. Its pretty expensive but the food is so so good. The service was impeccable yet again. Highly recommend this place if you have some money to spare and in the mood for amazing food.P.S. The Key Lime Pie is to die for.

Incredible food and service! Also, the restaurant really is classy and beautiful. I recommend it for special occasions and receptions, and just a great meal.

Just had a wonderful lunch date with my son. Our server Anna was kind, sweet and an all around great server. Food was fantastic as well. Will definitely be coming back!

The sirloin steak had a great seasoning and they have a great zero proof "rosemary ginger tonic" cocktail that tasted like a real cocktail. Will definitely be going again.

OMGoodness !!! The White peach Bellinis are amazing ❤️ the tuna sushi stack was absolutely delicious. For dessert Id definitely suggest the white chocolate brownie. Front of house staff were friendly and our server was excellent. Definitely recommend.

My friends and I had dinner at Moxies on Sunday, the reservation  process was easy and they were able to accommodate eleven of us. Our hosts were exceptional and very professional, our orders came on time and the food was worth every dollar spent, The kids got ice cream on the house and my friend also got a free birthday cake&ice cream.Our experience overall was a 10, Youll need to show proof of vaccination when you get there, which is now a requirement if you plan to dine anywhere. This is my second time at moxies and theyve been consistent in giving excellent service.

My friends and I love this spot. Usually in the summer we would come here almost every Friday. Our drinks would usually be more than the food but it’a all because of the great atmosphere and service that led us to having a great time.

Great time always at Canadian restaurant/ bar and grill Moxie’s. New appetizer - dry ribs with Salt and Pepper seasoning. Ok come n get it don’t forget dessert White Chocolate Brownie after your Real Beef Sirloin Steak

We have been coming to this location in large groups for business meetings for a long time and they have always been accommodating. Even during phase 3 of Ontario reopening.The staff are very nice and helpful.I have tried "Chimichurri Steak Salad", "Nachos", "Loaded Cheeseburger" and "Beef Dip" and all of them had good quality and tasted really good. My favorite was Loaded Cheeseburger.

Great place! Food is great especially their vegan tacos and I guess it was Taylor, she was taking care of us excellent job!!

We visited Moxies a years ago and it was the best food we had. My husband and I had steaks and tasted good. Good customer service. While I was having my food I found a live spider🕷 in broccoli which was cooked. I informed them. They inform the manager and he offerde to replace the dish, but I already had the steak so we said "its okey we just wanted to let you know about the spider". They didnt charge us for that food which we had problem with.

The outdoor patio is really nice. Open air with walls and a ceiling so you could sit out in the rain. We ordered fish tacos and Street tacos. They were served on corn tortillas which is perfect! Wonderful fresh taste.. perfect blend of heat. The waitress was friendly but a little slow.. either new or juggling a lot of tables indoor and out.
