MovieTowne Guyana in Georgetown

MovieTown is a great spot for the entire family. It has several restaurants to visit, mini indoor mall, movie theater and arcade floor. My family loves visiting MovieTown once or twice a week when visiting Guyana.

Great place to have food and watch movies. Cant wait for the other stores to open.

Its a wonderful experience to have with your family and friends and you can take yourself out on a date too

Overstaffed on weekdays and understaffed on weekends.

Beautiful mall .. love the train ride 👍🏻 spicy food , many varieties

Some good anchor businesses in Hard Rock Café and the movie theater. Lots of room for growth and new business.

The place was very nicely played out and organized. I like that it is KidsFriendly too

Great location for a nigjtvout worh dmfriemds. Food, drinks and a movie. The ocean breeze sets the ambiance in the late evenings on the patio with an adult beverage in hand.

Service could have been better.Several menu items were not available.Easter Holiday weekend in Guyana.The staff tried their best and offered a complimentary round of shots.Entertainment was spot on with live signing and a mixture of Latino,Brazilian and Chutney music.Great venue to chill however.

Went to Jaxx. Ordered fish and chips. Fish was salty and flavorless. The cocktail was watered down and unimpressive. The only thing good was the plantain chips . . . I guess they couldnt mess that up.

Excellent location off the Rupert Craig Highway. Lots of good food options and very clean and open uncluttered walkways

Kids had lots of fun..Place was clean and spacious.

Been here twice and so far so good. Went to Jacks, had some drinks. The service was good. Went to the movie theater to watch spiderman. Decent service. Only issue is that the popcorn was cold and there was no extra butter to add to it. Not taking too much away from them though because apparently they were just reopened after a long closure. Other than that, the theater was clean, sound was good, picture was good. Its not their fault that spiderman was rubbish.

Pretty slow at the moment. Very big mall that needs a lot more to be done. Has a lot of vacant spaces for rent (if anyone’s interested). Unfortunately covid has hampered a lot of activities there.Loves their mini casino (fantasybut it’s closed.

Must go to if u visit Guyana lots of food options. kosmos and hard rock cafe were my favorites , variety of clothing stores and great movies cinema
