Sehr liebevoll restaurierte Motorräder von teils sehr alten bis hin zu jüngeren Modellen; ein toller Querschnitt durch die Geschichte des Motorradfahrens und der Weiterentwicklung der unterschiedlichen Modelle. Eine sehr schöne Sammlung und der Rundgang hat uns sehr gefallen.Der freundliche aufsichtführende Herr hätte sicherlich viele Detailfragen beantworten können, doch leider sprechen wir nur sehr gebrochenes Englisch für den üblichen Hausgebrauch, an den Motorrädern lässt sich aber auch vieles in Englisch in Ruhe nachlesen. Doch unser ehrliches Intersse wurde, denken wir, sehr wohl wahrgenommen, letztlich kamen wir bei Wind und Regen mit unseren Motorrädern vorgefahren.Sehr berührend auch die Geschichte, die hinter diesem Museum steht und gibt den Besuch der ausgestellten Motorräder nochmal einen Sinn.....und vielen Dank nochmal für den Kaffee.

Visited whilst on a tour round Iceland, staff friendly and there is a great collection of motorbikes and memorabilia, they sell t shirts and hoddies too so baught the hubby one. Got offered coffee and a seat on the couch when I was done too. Good for motorbike inthusiasts

A huge collection of bikes, spawning across a century or more. Not only can you learn about the history of the bikes but you can also learn about their owners. A very interesting exhibit and worth a visit. Friendly owner with lots of tidbits about the exhibit.

I would have loved to have rated this.. We went in February and it was closed 😂just opens certain times. Luckily a lovely lady from the arts and information center let us know before we went down .. Lovely people in Iceland 💖

Nice collection of motorcycles, some vintage, some fairly recent. Well maintained with nice details, e.g. the bikes that were known to leak oil actually did leak in the museum as well.1500 isk entry.

Ein MUSS für jeden Motorradfahrer/-fan. Besonders gut gefallen haben mir das selbstgebaute "Motorrad" mit einem BMW-Schiffsmotor und die restaurierte 100 Jahre alte Henderson.

Musée situé à moins de 200 mètres de laéroport de Akureyri. Très grand parking. Accueil sympathique, prix de lentrée 1000 isk, ce qui est peu cher au vu des collections présentées. Énormément de motos et tout ce qui roule à deux roues 😀. Seul reproche les machines sont un peu serrées et de temps en temps il faut faire attention pour ne pas en renverser. Si vous êtes amateurs de motos il faut absolument y passer ! 😀
