Motorbike Rental and Ha Giang 1 Hostel in Ha Giang

I rented the motorbike at Ha Giang 1 Hostel for 10 days. The price is 180K per day and Duy, (the gentleman I contacted with all the timewas super friendly and helpful. He even had driven to a car to take me, my partner and our luggage to his place to check the quality of the bike before we rented one. He also showed us how to tighten our luggage since we had 2 big bags and he seemed to be skillful at it.We are also very grateful that he helped us to pick up the laundry at our hotel and delivered it on time the following day.We cannot ask for more hospitality and support from Duy. very good. The person who took care of us was very nice. we arrived at 3:00 am we were able to sleep there before leaving on a motorcycle the next day. One of our wheels punctured on the road (not due to the rental companyand he still reimbursed us for the repair costs. nothing to say, I highly recommend.

Great hostel to stay in Ha Giang before doing the loop. Rooms were amazing and they had one the cleanest washrooms ive seen in Vietnam (with an actual shower, which was much appreciated after a long day riding in mud and rain). Good price also. Would recommend!

Amazing hostel, the best place to say if you are doing the Ha Giang loop. The staff speak great English and are so friendly & helpful; they have loads of knowledge and experience of the loop, and, all of the safety equipment (full-head helmet, knee/elbow pads, bag strapsare included with the cost of hiring a motorbike. They only have semi-automatic bikes, but they will give you a tutorial on how to use it if you are used to automatic. The hostel itself is well built, clean, and the beds are comfortable with good curtains for privacy. The location is right in the centre of town. Im so glad we chose to stay here.

We stayed here for 1 night before doing the loop. We stayed in a dormitory but we were alone. It was very clean and there were 3 toilets available. After, the hosts gave us a map for the loop and some suggestions on where to stay etc. The motorbike was 115cc and costed 170000vnd per day (which is a bit pricey for Vietnam). However it was very new and we also had raincoats and very good helmets included in the price. After coming back, the hosts booked a night bus to Hanoi for us and suggested that we can use the room for the day for free until our bus leaves. I recommend this place for staying and renting a motorbike for the loop.

Friends recommend us Bibi for a bike tour around Ha Giang and the trip was amazing. We booked 3-day tour. The price includes a motorbike with driver, hotels and 3 meals a day. Definitely worth it as Bibi knows the area and is great fun

Super super friendly, helpful and enthusiastically. Room is free but supper clean with full facility. Motorbike is cheap. You should try when coming Hagiang

The place was not really clean, but the staff was nice, the beds were hard!👌 the showers are good... this place is fine to stay one night if youre planning to drive the Ha Giang loop...

Overall this place is excellent. The value is good & I felt comfortable there. Town is nice to walk around and the Lo River is impressive running through. The hostel is clean and the staff is friendly. The owner Tac is very hard working & his family is as well. They always seem concerned about your wellbeing. I rented my Honda Wave lx here and it’s working well for my loop trip so far. There was a small glitch on the morning of my departure with the timely arrival of my motorbike but it was worked out quickly & understandings were easily found.If you don’t have an international drivers license there is a chance you could be stopped by the police just outside of Ha Giang at the beginning of the loop. Acquiring this permit prior to leaving your country is advised but not 100% necessary. Remember to be careful on the bike as many dangers do present themselves just like any adventure. The breathtaking countryside is a huge ‘distraction’ from your driving so plan frequent stops in your itinerary. I know people have done 2 days...some 5 for the same loop. I did 5 & I loved this tranquil schedule. Take your time as many many photo opportunities are inherent & time zips by. This is quite possibly one of the most beautiful & most appreciated trips of my life. The people of course too make it magical. Culturally rich & totally gorgeous.

Great place to rent motorbikes. We took one semi automatic 110cc and it was enough for two of us. Some people suggest to rent stronger but if the scooter is quite new is completely enough (unless you are very tall and big). The owner is a very nice person. When we were on the loop I wrote with him on WhatsApp to book the night bus to Cat Ba. They even pick us up at the hostel. BTW we are not the fans of dorms etc however this place is very clean nice and friendly. The only thing was with the pick up from the bus station. Most of the hostels pick up their guests from the bus station. I was advised by the owner to ask the bus driver to drop us off at the hostel however he didnt want to take us there. We called the hostel (it was the owners worker on the phone and we had to take a taxi.

I love this place for its friendly, fun, helpful staff. The dorm sleepers were comfortable. Air conditioning : They help plan and equip you for the motorbike loop. They were very kind to store my bag. Busses to everywhere stop at this location, and the staff will help coordinate the ticket for you. Popular place... Great for meeting other travelers. Good place, big beds, nice showers. English was passable at the hostel. Our guide spoke great English though and provided a fantastic tour.

Clean, comfortable hostel with such a friendly owner and staff!!I couldnt find the hostel when I returned from 5 days motorbiking the circuit, so with one call, the staff immediately came on their bike to retrieve me. Very kind of them. And the best hot shower I have had in Vietnam was waiting for me on my arrival!Awesome place! I highly recommend them.

Superb place! Rent the bike with confidence! I got the little semi Honda Blade for 4 days and it was an excellent choice! Bikes are fairly new and good maintained! Really worth it! Owner and his crew is super nice!

Owner is very very nice. We got a flat tyre on the loop and he managed to send a mechanic to our remote location despite the language barrier. Also let us shower after returning from the loop. Dropping one star for the noise of the woodworms in the dorm, man theyre loud at night.

Amazing hostel! Great breakfast, motorbikes in perfect shape to rent for the loop! They even sent me some clothes that I left there to Cat ba island where I was staying after! Totally recommended!!!

Amazing service!! The staff were super helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Good lockers. AC in the room. Big a nice common area. Good breakfast. Clean room and common areas. They allowed us to leave our luggage while we were doing the loop and arranged a bus for us to go back to Hanoi when we arrived.We rented two motorbikes and they worked perfectly! Very good prices for the motorbikes and the room compared with other places. Recommended 100% and coming back for sure!

Owner is a nice guy. He is telling you the stuff you need to know about the Loop.A night in the dorm is 45k VND, its clean, the toilets are modern. Air conditioning is available. Coffee and breakfast for free in the morning.Automatic or semi- automatic scooters, even cars for rent are available as well. 130k VND for semi, 170k VND for automatic. You can take the insurance for 100k VND a day. Good deal.Nice hostel.

Helpful staff, good service in rental and accommodation. Did rent my Honda Wave for the loop there and got everything I need to get started, new bike and poncho. You can even have breakfast and order Korean food. I also enjoyed the free Sunsilk shampoo.

We will repeat again! This hostel has big dormitories with AC, fan and big lockers. Every bed has courtains, reading light and plugs to charge your devices. The toilets and showers are outside the room but are very big, clean and with hot water.The owner is very nice and staff is very helpful. They serve an amazing breakfast! Also you can rent motorbikes there for a good price and quality service.Should go here!

Some of the friendliest people you will ever meet! Very helpful with renting a bike and even gave a lesson plus a test ride before making you commit! Also, they have free protective gear to use.Coming on the night bus from Hanoi, my friend and I were able to stay in the hostel upon our arrival (5:00 AMand had super comfy beds and an air conditioned room. I can not recommend this hostel enough!

Absolutely lovely.The staff is kind, the hostel is clean even tho the beds are a bit hard, but it’s totally ok considering the price we paid.The best Bathrooms I used so far in Vietnam and trust me when I say it makes a huge difference once you finish the loop.They gave us so many useful tips and prepared a free early breakfast for us.They also let us take a free shower when we got back from the loop and booked a last minute night bus for us.I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hostel. The family owning it is very friendly and nice, we rented bikes there and they worked fine. Breakfast included for a good price. Good location and comfortable beds. Can totally recommend.

I was looking for a hotel at 4am when I arrived with a bus from Hanoï.They were open, someone spoke great English and they welcomed us and got us a great room. The staff, even though some of them are teens - sons of the owner - are very friendly.The hotel is really clean, they even have 2 types of shampoo in the bathroom ;)

Great value for money. Nice large wooden beds (be aware of the woodworms though, they could wake you up at night), very friendly staff, quick laundry service. We rented their Semi-Automatic bikes and departed for the loop which was an amazing tour. The bikes are in great condition and everything was really hassle-free.

Please remember! Never in your life stay in this hostel! they are full of bedbugs. I woke up at night and my whole back and arms were on bites. it wasn’t mosquitoes because I used the mosquito net. I packed my stuff away from the hostel in the middle of the night! worst experience in my travel history.

Amazing hostel! Best we have had in south east asia.

We stayed here for a night before our Loop through Hà Giang. The beds are big, very comfortable mattress, a curtain for privacy.The bathrooms are beautifully kept. Everything is so clean! There’s a fridge downstairs, you can use the kettle for boiling water and there’s filtered water in the kitchen, which you can help yourself.We will definitely stay here on our way back from our loop. 70k per person with breakfast.

Superbly Value for your Money even in Vietnamese Dong (VND 70 000per night with breakfast, Shower facilities, Towel , free accessible WiFi connections and a decent size bed for your lodging needs.Also, walking distance to nearby food, convienence store will sells basically day to day needs.Ha Giang is rather quiet in the night due unlike HaNoi

Very good value for money. I stayed 3 nights. Rooms has boxes with lockers and mosquito nets. Clean bathrooms look almost new. Breakfasts were abundant and the staff very helpful and good knowledge of English. They also rent motorbikes for reasonable rates. Centrally located.

This hostel might possibly be the best value for any accommodation in Vietnam. 75k for clean and modern facilities with free breakfast and drinking water. The owner wants the best experience for his customers, and offers affordable motorbike rentals. Theres no reason to consider any other hostel in Ha Giang!

The owner is very helpful and nice, beds are big, restroom is quite clean. Unfortunately bedsheet was not perfectly clean - Ive seen many spots and hair on it. We also rented motorbikes, one of them had an engine problem but the owner insisted that it was low level of gasoline. Fortunately we could exchange it to another one. We spent 3 days on ha giang loop on this motorbikes and had no issues.Its better to take semi automatic motorbikes becuase they are new. :)

Ive stayed at few hostels in Ha Giang and this one is exceptional, big beds, big rooms, clean, free coffee, breakfast, garage parking for motorbike, awesome place to chill. Highly recommended

The hostel is really nice. They have a big common place where you have breakfast and some tables outside. The beds are nice too. The rooms have AC. They have 3 toilets in each floor, nice and clean.We were 5 and rented motorbikes there and left our luggage for the three days we were doing the loop. The motorbikes are cheap, but one of them didnt have good bakes. So, I recommend to try them first and ask for all the elements of protection. If you crush or break something they just ask you to go to the mechanic to fix it and come back, so they dont make money with it.The staff is nice, they even arrange for you a taxi that picks you up from the hostel to the terminal to take the bus you choose (they have different destinations and timetablebut you dont pay them, you just deal with the bus driver. I liked that because you can see they have sincere services just for make you comfortable and not just to make money.

This is an amazing hostel. The owner is the nicest guy in the world, very accommodating, the hostel is clean and modern, the beds comfortable and the location perfect. We rented motorcycles from the hostel which were in great condition and worked perfectly and afterwards he helped us with the night bus for which he took no money for himself (the other tourists on the same route payed way more). And did I tell you its one of the cheaper options? I dont often leave reviews but in this case I had to, it was great!

Best hospitality Ive ever had at a hostel for many many reasons. For example : I needed currency exchange and the owner dropped what he was doing, told me to jump on his motorbike and took me to a local bank. After Id been checked out already for a couple hours! Thanks again, sir!!!

Cheap, clean, all facilities, good toilets/shower.They rent brand new motorycles for a reasonable price.The people running this place are very nice and helpfull if you want to prepare a motorycle trip. I would recommend this place.

This place is a backpacker dream..80.000 dong or a dorm room, breakfast included. The dorm is really good, every bed has mosquito net and a curtain. They have many bathrooms and offer shampoo and shower gel. Also you get a towel.The best thing is the guy who is working most time at the reception. His english is not very good, but he is very helpful and friendly. The rent also good motorbikes to ride the loop..what for sure you should do, great journey with magnificent views and such friendly people.

Amazing hostel. Rooms are big and clean, privacy curtains, showers are nice and always clean. Staff is so nice and accommodating. You can rent the scooters from them as well, for 150k. The scooters are brand new. We couldnt find the right helmet, so owner took us to the helmet store and got us perfect brand new helmets and gloves. Great value. Breakfast is very nice too

Chose this place with a bit doubt for the first time due to the extremely unbelievable price, yet the host and the services totally surprise me.The rooms are very big, clean and certainly are one of the most comfort hostel rooms I ve ever stayed for my whole lifeThe host is super friendly, he is willing to help all of my curious about the area.

The staff is very friendly and happy to help with anything. They have 24 hour check in, late check out around 1 pm and great breakfast of eggs, coffee and fruits. Beds are very cheap around 70,000 VDN. The bathroom is very clean and modern. They offer motorbike rental and can arrange bus rides, as well. Their coffee is very delicious. Highly recommend!

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was great. The dorms are big and clean, the breakfast is really good and the price is cheap as well.We booked there easy rider tour of 3 days and it was amazing. The views were beautiful, the drivers were nice and Ms Dzung made sure everything was on point.

Great hostel in the middle of town. The host is great and couldnt be more helpful. The hostel was exceptionally clean. Beds were comfy, a good size with curtains too and dorm rooms were spacious. Great breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ha giang, one of the best hostels i have stayed in.

Best Hostel we have been in Vietnam!Very new, everything super clean, plenty of bathrooms with separate shower and proper ventilation! Comfortable beds, all with curtains and enough storage space. Nice breakfast included. Above all, the owner and staff is the nicest we have ever encountered! Very helpful and kind. He helped us to plan the loop, renting motorbikes and with bus tickets. 5 stars hostel!
