I stayed here for 2 nights during LLB show. The location is very convenient since the convention center is only 5 walking distance. Friendly staff and a gym is available too

So, its quite tricky to review it but I will try my best. The rooms are standard but the shower is very spacious and nice.Staff is very friendly and helpful.Breakfast is okay.The reason for the two stars deduction is mainly the (non existent?cleaning service. Stayed there for ten days and the plate I used on the first day was still in my Room? Alas, I think its still there. Beds dont get made (or sometimes only one side while the other stays messy?, nobody filled up my empty hand wash soap.Twice cleaning service randomly walked in to my room around 2,3pm without knocking while I was literally recovering from a work shift.Motel itself and staff good but you guys can do better organizing the cleaning services!

Great staff! Cute hotel with nice rooms. It was mainly clean but noticed a lot of hand marks on the walls and bed unit. Otherwise a fine hotel.

Had mixed experience in Motel L. Here rooms are clean and well furnished, very close to train station. 9 minutes away from Central Station.But anyone can expect a small refrigerator, a water cooker inside the room. Unfortunately those are not there. Also they didn’t change the bedsheets, bathroom towel every morning as they were lil wet and dirty. Bathroom kits provided only once and we had to adjust with those limited kits for the next 4 days, quite disappointing. They must improve their parking facilities as well.

Nice hotel, a bit far from stockholm city but just takes 9 minutes to reach from stockholm city to this place by commuter train.Hotel is very next to the Älvsjö railway station and bus stop abd there is coop and subway within the same premises.

The rooms were really great but the breakfast buffet had very limited options.

The hotel itself is good, rooms are clean. However food variety for the breakfast is not good enough, and the worst thing is that I was not allowed to sit with my family because I didn’t pay for the breakfast. How about trusting people? Didn’t hear about that?

Nice motel. Nice breakfast although no hot items. Very near the train station unless youre American... then its 1/4 of a mile.

Room was very clean and breakfast was also good. As per budget this is best room. Location is also best outside the bus and train station and take on 10 min to city centre.Check bunk bad possible before booking, it is exactly above the double bed considered small room size.

Rooms are kinda small. Coming from the U.S, one should expect rooms to be small as everything in Europe is smaller than what we are experienced in the U S. Overall experience is great. The place is clean, calm and location is great.

The room was good. Clean and fresh.The beds were much too soft.And it sucks that you cant book a parking place.

Expensive parking in their garage, motel is fine, nice beds and shower. Super close to the train station from which you can get to centralstationen in 10 min.

Great value for money! Very helpful reception team. The hotel is right next to train station that makes your journey to Stockholm city centre so much easier.The freshly baked bread is to die for. Please pack stretchy jeans with you 😂

Very modern hotel, very good facilities, hotel room is clean, not too expensive. Lobby could be cleaner though

It was just OK. Very low value for the money you spend here. The beds and the entire room is too small.. The entire ambience looks like the place is on LSD. The 10 USD$ breakfast is good for dogs. They dont have anything hot for breakfast. They forgot to clean the room one day. The front desk gals are rude and useless. In all, they need to come down to the USA to understand what good hospitality looks like.

New or newly renovated hotel. Very soft beds. Breakfast was disappointing--no cooked foods and NO CREAM NOR MILK FOR COFFEE. That was a first for us. In the hallway we heard birds chirping. No ironing board & iron nor little coffee/tea pot in room. Bathroom floor can be heated--eventually. It took around 8 hours after turning it on. There is a bar in the lobby.

Very clean and modern. Nice decor, minimalistic, with emphasis on quality furniture and bathroom. Breakfast was cute with everything yummy one could eat - not too much, not too little. The eggs were perfectly creamy, neither runny nor dry. Staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. Easy to find in a new-build area, near the commuter station and near a supermarket. A little too far from central Stockholm but its compensated by a reasonable price. Great idea to have a communal tea area where one can help themselves to tea, coffee and hot chocolate, as well as a microwave.

Very modern with a good location for a low price. The staff were nice and competent.But I am dissatisfied with some other things which are the bad hairdryer, the weird bird noises in the hallway and a black long hair which has been under my blanket (probably from the cleaning staff), when I came back in the evening.

Although our room was very small, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and the hotel was in a great location.The breakfast was AMAZING and the front lobby/lounge area was very welcoming.My husband and I would stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel.

By mistake, house keeping thought my room should be emptied and they "packed" my suitcase for me. All my personal belongings were loosly thrown into the suitcase, including documents, an opened pack of cookies (resulting in crumbs everywhere in the suitcase), bathroom utils like my toothbrush, just everything thrown into there, absolutely messy and unhygienic, also ironed shirts just squished into there. This shows a total lack of respect for private belongings of guests. Of course, I complained about this incident at the reception and the receptionist apologized. But nobody felt the need to offer me help for cleaning my clothes or ironing my shirt, or offer me any kind of compensation for the trouble I had.When I gave the hotel a bad rating, this resulted in a strange reaction by the manager: Below every of my ratings, in his answer, he accused me of harassement and even of threatening the hotel via email. Never have I harrassed or threatened anyone, so this seems to me like nothing but an attempt to suppress a critical rating and avoid others to read how my belongings got treated in his hotel. He even kept posting personal information about me, which forced me to delete the ratings over and over again. He also argued that I seemed to be fine after complaining to the reception, which is why they did not offer me any compensation. I am not an obtrusive or demanding person, but I think as an act of courtesy (or just by common sense), a guest whose personal things got so messed up by the hotels staff should be offered some compensation, regardless whether they ask for it or not. But it seems like the management of this hotel has a different opinion on that.And just to clarify: By "harrassment", he referred to me asking on the hotel managements public instagram account why my things were treated like this, one week after having not received any answers. By the "threat", he referred to a polite email that I send to the hotel asking for an explanation. Of course, I didnt threaten anybody in this email.Also, he questioned my negative rating in presence of the otherwise very positive ratings. But I can just speak from my personal experience and I have no reason to tell nothing but the truth here.

Nice and clean hotel, but too much noise with the music and television going on during the breakfast together with all people talking together. So only 4 stars from me

I loved Motel L so much that I did not want to leave. What was there not to like? For starters, the breakfast and coffee were delicious, the shower and heated floor was amazing, and the gym was clean and well kept with brand new equipment. The next time I visit i would definitely stay at motel L again.

Not a huge fan, their cancellation policy isn’t a policy, they simply take your money and reference you to their site; a section of the site that isn’t clear and wasn’t present when originally reserving the rooms. Further, a double simply means two blankets bahaha, one bed. Be prepared to get super close to your coworkers ;). That being said it is a clean hotel, which is always appreciated.

Ive stayed at both of the Motel L places in Stockholm and Ive never been disappointed. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, fresh bathrooms, ok breakfast, and good prices.

We did spend in this motel 4 days and it was really nice. The rooms are modern and very clean. With the train youre in 10 min in stockholm city. I can recommend this motel.

Clean and modern. Incredibly soft beds. Ten minutes walk from the station but theres no-step access all the way. Communication in to town very good despite being a little further out.

Didnt stay, visited the bar for a couple beers and chicken wings. Good and glad they had the chili sauce on the side.Calm and neutral atmosphere.

Modern, comfortable and affordable hotel. They really dont have restaurant there. They have bar serving alcohol & very few pizza & pasta choices.

A motel, that is more of a hotel than a motel. Looks nice both from the outside and inside. Cool interior design. Rooms are also nice and clean. The only downside was the breakfest - maube its a cultural thing but there was nothing warm to choose from, even not saussages or boiled eggs.

Interesting place, close to the convention center, no phone or iron in room, hard to get an iron when you are getting dressed and cant get through to the front desk. Lovely breakfast, nice staff, comfortable bed.

Just had a quick pizza with colleagues staying at this hotel. Large fresh cooked prosciutto with lots of crispy cheese. Good for that quick byte. Limited menu.

Newly built, and as such, everything is top-class. Rooms small but efficient, bed was great! The breakfast was a positive surprice and the guy at the reception-desk was not. If you travel by car, try to get one of the hotels parkingplaces. If not, its very expensive for longtime parking in the neighborhood. All and all, a very price-worthy stay!

Awful bed. springs were so soft I was basically laying in a V shape. the room was ridiculously warm. 29 C. the a.c. unit was broken and opening windows was not an option cause trains thundered past nonstop.

Lovely place. Loved their service. Just be sure that they dont book the rooms at the reception for last minute customers. Only online booking and they deal with only card payments. No cash. I loved my stay, rooms are cosy and beautiful.

A great newcomer on the local Älvsjö hotel scene. Fresch design concept. Tidy modern room at an affordable price. A plus for their lofty lobby lounge where you can enjoy a drink or two.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. It is a top quality 3 star hotel. Everything is well taken care of. The lounge, reception and breakfast room have very modern style with a great atmosphere.The rooms are very good, with great shower and bed.Inside the hotel are many nice things, like bird sounds that are activated by motion and the lights change colors every day.The breakfast was delicious, no live cooking and no luxury foods, but just great food. We especially loved the bread.200m from Älvsjö station.Highly recommended!

Great hotel, always good service, the rooms are always very nice and tidy and the shower and breakfast are great. Just the noise from the trains passing by can be annoying, its not loud though, just there.

New and freshly build hotel. Opened summer 2017. Sparkling colors in rooms and public areas. Modern and Designed rooms with air conditioning. Very soft beds, maybe too soft for me but somehow comfortable. Reasonable prices. Close to public transportation and 15min walk to Stockholm Fairs
