This unpretentious budget property is 1.4 miles from Green River State Park, 1.6 miles from the Green River Amtrak station (for the California Zephyr) and 1.7 miles from Interstate 70.The standard rooms include TVs with expanded cable channels and free WiFi. Some also come with minifridges. Kids 17 and under stay free with an adult family member.Free morning coffee and truck parking are offered, and there's a seasonal, unheated outdoor pool and a coin laundry.
Clean, quiet and a good place to rest while driving across from Colorado to Nevada. The room wasnt ready even though they allowed check-in. It was upstairs, in the courtyard area away from the car and a long way to haul luggage just to find out the room hadnt finished from the night before. It was late afternoon and I was very tired from a long drive, but they got it ready while I waited on the balcony outside the room. Housekeeping staff personnel was very polite and friendly, finished very quickly and thoroughly.
Safe and clean enough for a motel, which is all I ask for. We spent a first night there and liked it enough to book a second night. Not bad at all for the price (as long as you dont mind a couple flies in the bathroom!).
Hey, its Motel 6 and Ive stayed at many and its in the middle with 3 stars. Now the wifi is a 1, most of the time I stayed there was none(0).
This is everything you can expect from Motel 6. Paint splattered on the flooring, the door patched where it was punched from a previous customer, latex painted shower pan that’s peeling off that we didn’t dare to shower in and a glob of hair on the floor. The smell of the room is sour mixed with farts. I did have clean sheets and was thankful for the vacancy when all other hotels were sold out. Although Motel 6 is always less than pleasant, it brings back childhood memories of road-trips with the family. I will always have a special place in my heart for Motel 6!
I’ve stayed in plenty of motel 6s and this one is a little below average. No open pool, small room, but it was super cheap so there’s that. Also looks like it has semi parking.
Horrible experience! The toilet looked like it hasn‘t been cleaned for months and the bed sheets were dirty with hair on it. At least they accepted to refund the money as we did not want to sleep in a place like that.
Don’t stay here if you can help it. Room was not cheap due to being a weekend, but the accommodations put forth by Motel 6 is unacceptable at any price. The floors were dirty. They might have used a rough broom on them, but certainly, not a mop. I found hair on my bed sheets that certainly were not mine or my companions. That was nasty. There was a liquid like a cream or something left on the top of the cabinet between the bed. I had to cover it with a towel. Now, I know the difference between a Hotel and a Motel so I understand we’re not staying at the Marriot Grand Park Hotel here, but nonetheless, Motel 6 needs to show a little class to the motoring public with the product it puts forth.Do yourself and your Family a favor- spend $25 more and get a clean, decent, and simple motel room nearby. There are MANY better choices.Mine will NEVER be Motel 6 again. Thanks for reading. Motor On!!DG
Desk clerk was friendly. The room is dated but I found it to be very clean. The bed was comfy and I slept well. This is one of the cleanest motels Ive stayed in during my multi week road trip.
The location is honestly in a good spot its right off the freeway. The room we had a dead mosquitoe on the wall 😂 but other than that the room and bathroom were good. Its convent and the price wasnt bad at all. Would still recommend when your passing through and need to rest for the night.
STAINED MATTRESS. Room had dirty floor with food on it. Only 1 towel in room. I was right by the maids stocking room. We the went in I could hear them taking very loud back and forth.Air conditioning worked excellent. In the morning they did credit the price of the room for the condition it was when we checked in.
I stayed here for a night while on a motorcycle trip out west. If youre looking for a clean room and friendly staff, this place is a great option. Stayed 7/10/22
Budget rooms in Green River. Sure the rooms needed a little love but its a motel nor the Ritz Carlton. I appreciated the friendly service at the front desk, ample parking, and very clean bed sheets. Rooms were a little small but for 2 people staying the night it was all we needed.
Had a pleasant stay here for one night on the way to Bryce from Arches. The front staff was helpful, room was clean, no safety concerns, overall stay was smooth. At this price range, this was a good stay. As another review said, its not a hotel, its a motel...so set your expectations accordingly.Theres a gas station "Maverick" nearby where you can stock up on some essentials when leaving in the morning.
Good location, good rooms, clean, comfortable and nice staff, host who booked us in was friendly and funny, easy parking, not much in town but found food nearby, good stop over,
This was the cheapest Motel during a holiday weekend. The front desk worker was very friendly and helpful. Our first room did not have a fridge or microwave which was a little odd. I went and asked for a room with those and they said it was $5 extra. Totally fine since I needed them but a little weird that they cost more. The room appeared clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The shower head comes out at a strange angle but I guess it’s the best method? AC definitely worked!!! Our room went from HOT to FREEZING! Love it!Overall not a bad place to rest your head in green river. I would definitely consider staying there again!
A little small for the price but good location good parking and its clean and front desk is super nice. She had me welcoming it felt great. No judgement nothing just strait business and service.
Staff was super friendly as well as accommodating. I will definitely choose motel 6 if I’m in green river. Thanks for the coffee!! (:
My friend and I was looking over the reviews and decided to stay at motel 6, in Green River, UT. My friend booked a room for 2 nights. Let me just say People need to learn the differences between a Hotel and a Motel before posting a review. Check in was quick, The lady at the front desk (Trishawas awesome! She went above and be on. One of the beds had hair and stains. We call the desk for clean sheets. Not only did she bring the sheets she also made the bed for use. The rooms are comfortable but could be a little cleaner. Over all a nice quiet place to stay. Thank you Motel 6.
Nothing SUPER BAD about this Motel, I don’t know what people whine about.Yes, AC was old and LOUD, yes not CRISPY clean ( It’s not an “Intercontinental” duh ). Bed sheets were clean, shower hot. Iron provided, nice STAFF!!! And it’s close to Arches…AND it’s $50/night??!! What else do you want?
It was a nice little area to stop by for the night. Clean sheets and a soft bed is all I need. Thanks Motel 6!
One star more than usual, this property was basically acceptable, the wifi was slightly not acceptable, but I blame the local cable/internet provider for choked pipes during max usage time of 6-11pm. Staff was friendly and responsive, sink stopper didnt work, water pressure was abysmal, cleanliness in the bathroom was a fail.
Stayed 2 separate nights while traveling through and back again. The first night wasnt bad, the bathroom and the floors could have been cleaner and the sheets were rough. The second night was a week later. The room we got the second time was not good. The shower was in poor condition and looked like it was peeling, and the sink had cracks in it. The door didnt shut well, but did stay shut when it was deadbolted. There were hairs on the pillows. While the rate was low, given the condition of the second room, Im not sure if I would want to stay there again. And while we didnt use it, given that we were just there to sleep while on the road, the pool was green and rather gross.
Its a motel, so what do you expect kind of vibe. I didnt feel like it was super clean, it smelled weird, but I was only there for one night, I thought, oh well. The lady at the front desk was super sweet.
I stayed here, rather than most other places (and there were many in Green River UT).The front desk was friendly, funny with a good sense of humor. Whip with a wet noodle well sort of, expression I havent heard since college days.Price was reasonable, the room was in the back and was clean, bathroom was clean water pressure was good. Id stay here again. The restaurant Tamaras, not sure of spelling, but it was walking distance and excellent food & service. So, I had breakfast here the next day!!
The staff was very friendly! The room we got for $70 was way nicer than expected!! I love the decor!! Just a beautiful place! 😁
Place was nice for the price. Just needed a bed for the night during a long road trip. Quick and easy check in. Place felt safe and was clean enough for me. Didn’t expect too much but it met my expectation. Free coffee/tea in the morning as well!!
It was a clean room to sleep in after driving all day. They accept pets. Bring your own shampoo they only have bars of soap. Also pool was not working.
I found this room to be of a great value for the cost. Ashley at the front desk was extremely helpful. My mother had stayed at a Motel 6 previously where she said that the pillows were not clean. And that she would never stay at another Motel 6. I asked her to just check out the room and see if it was satisfactory if it was not we would find another place to stay. Ashley allowed us to see our room. And it was a nice room for the price. Really enjoyed Green River.
Inexpensive, clean, and friendly. This is a great place. Its cheap, clean, and friendly. It feels safe. Its what Motel Six used to be. (Rays Tavern is just down the way. Get a burger there!)
Wasn’t a big fan of this hotel but was whatever for the price. Was dirty and good luck if your on the top floor… took us forever to bring all are stuff up there because there’s not enough stairs
First off a warning: BEWARE ANY 5 STAR REVIEWS ! They have a poster in the lobby with a vague description stating that they are having a raffle for an apple watch for 5 star Google reviews. It says that the watch will be given away at the end of the month but dont say which month. It looks like the poster has been there for a while! Now to review: The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. We got checked in with ease. The room was disgusting! We found a used water bottle under the desk. Extremely easy to see! I stepped in what looked like rancid butter!? It smeared all over the floor. Fortunately I was wearing thick socks. Obviously with what Ive already mentioned, it is clear that the floor hadnt been swept recently!I have a hard time believing that the sheets were actually changed between us and the previous occupant. The beds were made but the sheets had spots and crumbs on them!Next time I will be paying extra to stay somewhere else.
Good, inexpensive place to stay when exploring the Canyonlands. The motel is old, but the rooms are clean and the bathrooms and showers have been renovated. For the price, I have no complaints.
Terrible to non-existent internet connection, Im using roaming data to post this review. No coffee machine. No shampoo or any toiletries other than soap. Quite small room. This is an OK motel for $65, half the price of what we payed. Dont trust the 5 stars review because they are giving away an apple watch in exchange for good reviews
Easy to get to, plenty of parking, and check in was super friendly and fast. But the rooms are nasty 😕 especially the bathroom. I honestly dont think my room had been cleaned at all before I got there other than fresh bedding. The shower was scummy, and dirty shower water was dripping down through the light from the room above 🤮🤮 And even if I had got in, there wasnt any towels... At least the bed was comfortable, but definitely NOT a queen size, my feet were hanging off the end. If I had paid $50 for this room I wouldnt be complaining but I paid $120 and I feel like I need to go down to the truck stop and take a shower...
first room we were assigned was clearly not properly cleaned. the room was gone over but the bedsheets were dirty with visible stains and hairs all over them. the daytime front desk was very responsive and gave us a different room but the night person definitely was not when our room key didnt work the second night and we had to get it rekeyed. just made us feel stupid for having the issue. in general even the new room just didnt seem or feel clean. and poor repairs done due to previous room damage reminds that you get what you pay for with hotels.
Room was neat and clean. Other guests were very friendly and helpful. Missing a star do to there was only 2 sheets on each bed and the bar soap they use instantly dries out you skin.
Shaun was awesome at the front desk helping us out after a super long trip. His enthusiasm and uplifting welcoming spirit was like welcoming me home. Ashley at the front desk was outstanding when I was bragging to her about her heater felt toasty like there was a fireplace as she made me another room key and reminded about the fresh coffee. Definitely would stay again in a heartbeat. We’re truly grateful 🙏🏽
Awesome stay at this Motel 6 location. We have stayed here several times and the staff is extremely friendly and professional every time!! After driving long hours, it is always great to have friendly, happy people greet you. In addition, the rooms are always very clean and well kept with all the supplies needed. I do not usually take my time to do reviews, but felt this Motel 6 deserved a great review. Great people and great motel. You also can’t beat the price. I would highly recommended staying at this Motel 6.
