Old rooms smoking rooms were ragady meaning the covers were burned, room was clean tho cold air conditioning great location and very professional and friendly staff

Clean and quiet, great place to get rest on the road.

Rooms were nasty it was infested with roaches will not recommend nobody to Stay there check your clothes.

We stayed here because it says pets stay free. We had a "room secure deposit" that we only had because of having animals which in politically correct speaking terms made this a animal holding charge but the guy at the front just wanted me to agree that it was a room fee not a animal fee. Either way my animals are walked and use pee pads as well as I always clean up after my family and pets so I got the $20 fee back. The room had some minor things that could be updated like cigarette burns on tub and paint at floor corners could be touched up to make it look nicer and the mini fridge was leaking I put one of there towels under it we were only there for a night. The grass spots to walk a dog are very small and at the front and sides of building which at night could be a bit scary with the hoodlums that were around.

They charged us almost $100 and they had roaches crawling everywhere I was scared to sleep there I was going to stay in my car if it wasn’t for my husband and kids would not recommend

Very noisy next door but really was sleeping early to get up for 1am. The rooms are very plain no coffee or microwave

The room was clean, the staff very friendly. Heater worked fine. A little noisy like most motels. Our room door didnt shut or lock very well. You really had to slam it.

There was no toilet tissue in the restroom I didnt check in until 11:00 at night and this room smelled horrible

I placed a reservation through an online company I have used multiple times. When I showed up, the worker stated he needed my card for a security deposit. He had me sign. When I signed, it referenced the room charge and the deposit. I thought I was just verifying I showed up. I was charged for a room. Upon complaint, they claim my booking agent cancelled and they rebooked me. The agent said I was never cancelled.Now Im fighting to get money back where I was double billed.

Very nice young lady checked us in...the room was large and clean...bed was comfortable...would stay again!

A completely satisfactory motel 6. I always stay at Motel 6. Some are excellent, some are only satisfactory but never been in one that was less than that. I really like the bare wood floors, so much more sanitary than carpeting.

There was blood on the bathroom door and a yellow something running down the wall. We had no hot water and had several cigarette burns in the bedding.There was also alot of black dust on the bottom of the walls and dirt on the floors. The front desk girl was very pleasant though.

Room could have been a little cleaner but was acceptable. Friendly staff. Close to highway so it was a little noisy. I would stay again.

I was arrested when i was the victim . at this place also. They stole my stuff my Ray Ban glasses that i paid 200 dollars also my Belt i paid 150 dollars . worst place bad exprience im so upset of this place honestly

Having a wet floor when checking in I mentioned it before I put my baggage away and I was told that because I had more than one dog that I could not stay they had no other rooms I thought how about a mop for the wet floor I didnt ask for another room I will never stay at their hotel again

Dont waste your money!! The heat was off in our room prior to renting, so we were shocked that our room was 50° in the middle of winter. Due to the frigid temps in the room or possibly the 7 year old batteries, the remote would not work to watch TV. The floors were so dirty, we had to wear shoes in the room. Housekeeping in general was very lacking. Do yourself a favor and steer away from this place!! 👎👎

Wonderful place! I stayed there for two days in November after thanksgiving and being from Atlanta there was definitely difference in the service I’m used to. True southern hospitality! Will definitely be staying there again next time I’m into town for business. 🥰

This is a good motel for a trucker with a dog, watch out for this place though they tell you that the parking in the back but it actually is on the side so as youre approaching it from the interstate look to your right in the parking lot is circular. If you pass it like I did youll have to go quite a ways before you can turn around. The room was clean but nevertheless I suited up and used a half a can of Lysol on everything. I cant tell you about the bed I never sleep in these rooms I simply stop to watch TV and take a shower. No coffee.Clean rooms.

I got bad vibes as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. It was disgusting!! Dirty pillows and sheets. The floor was sticky. The drain in the tub didn’t stay plugged. The ceiling was falling in in the shower. They had it 80 degrees in there so it took all night to cool off so we were sweating. The toilet seat was broken. I wish we would’ve just spent the extra $20 and stayed somewhere else.

The hotel room was clean the front desk was very nice. The 4 stars was due to the clientele who stayed there the 2 nights I was there. Multiple times both nights and morning i was woke up to conversations happening at high decibels one was about the mf rims on someones car and another was about the size of some sweet female dogs butt. Obviously edited for google for swearing. In the morning i was woke to some mf was mf hungry. I understand that the hotel is not at fault for who they rent to... but it did lower my opinion of my stay and thats why I went 4 star instead of 3.

The General Manager is Amazing at this Location...It was a cold night when I stayed...Manager had just left for the evening, after I checked in. I called down to front desk to ask about heat and the young woman that answered stated that she was new and had to call her manager and she would call me right back with what to do. The General manager returned back to hotel just to tell me the heating system took time to heat up due to dropping temps outside, “l stated to GM that she could have told me that over the phone!” Her response was amazing...she said “No I needed to come tell you verbally, that would have been unprofessional!” I was so pleased that she came all the way back from her home to tell me this...in person instead of over the phone!! Super impressed!! Not least but last I was also asked if I wanted to change rooms, I said no, thank you for coming back! Thanks Motel 6

WELL, WOW !! That was the nicest motel 6 I have ever stayed in.....It was clean !!! no carpet was a plus. comfortable beds clean sheets climate was correct upon entry for the temperature outside, and there was not any loud obnoxious people milling around

Very easy stay. The room was exactly what I wanted, ADA-accessible near the front office for problem solving. A handicap parking spot was available in front of it. Next to the ice machine; the walls and door were thick so I didn’t hear anyone using it. Friendly and responsive late afternoon desk clerk. I had an issue with the TV (picture aspect ratio was wrong and couldn’t be reset with the remotebut she came down and showed me how to do it with the buttons on the TV side. The bathroom had some sturdy safety bars but the shower was in a tub so wasn’t wheelchair accessible; thankfully I didn’t need that. There was a seat that could be put into the shower for safety-sitting; I did use that. I appreciated the microwave and mini-fridge, both were helpful for my traveling food. Located close off the Interstate; the previous one was 4 miles away. Fair value for the price.

Spoke to Jodie on the phone to reserve a room & arrived 3 hours later after a long, hot travel day. She welcomed my husband, our dog, and me warmly & made sure we were comfortable in our room. It was located right on our route so we didnt even have to go out of our way to get there. The motel is older, but theyve done a great job of remodeling -- well designed & well executed. It was clean, strong wifi -- and welcoming to our dog. We were very pleased & if we find ourselves in that neighborhood again, will make a point of staying here.

Stay away from this place. Staff is rude. I stayed one night and decided to stay a second night and they refused to clean the room. Very poor service. What a S _ _ _ hole. If you are down on your luck and have very little to spend you would be better off staying on a park bench most likely you would have better service.

They have bed bugs and rude staff. My husband woke up with huge hard welps over his back and arms, and after we looked around the bed we spotted a few brown spots: the telltale sign of bed bugs. Around 3 I called the front desk as I had been busy all day and did not have a chance when we first discovered this. They seemed like they didnt believe me over the phone. When they checked the room, they said the brown spots were dirt and the welps on my husbands back were ZITS! I was furious. After threatening to show the bugs in the front office, they finally gave a full refund with much attitude.

Receptionist is warm and polite. Room 121 is clean but bed cover and blanket have existing holes probably cigarette holes. Reported to the Receptionist immediately as I noticed. She took note of that in her computer.

New ownership so the rooms have been updated, staff super friendly!! Have been in this motel since November of 2018 and have absolutely no complaints, clean rooms, our housekeeper Maria is very efficient and trustworthy. We feel very safe here and the staff treats the guests and their pets like family!!!

This place is wonderful!! Especially for the price! Super affordable. The rooms were very nice and clean. Wifi worked awesome! The woman working the desk was superb! Very friendly and helpful! Will 100% stay here again!!!!

The receptionist was excellent, very patient and kind. We had to move rooms and the bathroom light would not work. The next room there was a spider in the bathroom, we could never get the TV to work and the door c was very hard to close. The heat was not working properly. We have stayed there before ,,,without any problems ,however

The room had burn marks everywhere including the tub. Large gap under the door. Holes in the doors and walls. Was told we could not have our service animals there. Website says they have daily housekeeping. That is a joke. We were there for 3 days and housekeeping never came to our room. I requested that our room be serviced while we were out. Needed to be swept and fresh towels. But the room was never touched. Never even brought us any toilet paper. Drug dealers next door. Loud music, arguing outside our door. Beating and banging from upstairs. Not a very friendly place or staff at all. Did not feel welcome or safe. Will not stay there again. And will not recommend this place to anyone

I was sceptical of renting the room here. Because of the reviews. They must have seen the other young lady reviews about the linen,lol. But they seem to have improved. The linen was clean,the had hard wood floor which is alot better than carpet like some motels. The staff was really nice,our heater was working properly,so he said they were still in the process of trying to upgrade. He gave us heater to use,which work great no complaints there. So,for the price not,its not bad.

5pm, prime time for serving incoming customers, but door was locked, so I rang the bell and the desk guy had to come out of the back and find the door key. Couldnt find my reservation or get his check-in equipment working, so he filled out a form by hand. Gave me room 124.Door opened with difficulty, but we got in. No wifi password was given, so we tried to call the office - no answer. Planned to walk across the parking lot to the office to ring the bell again, but couldnt get out the door - lock wouldnt open. Called the front desk again (multiple times on room phone and cell phone), no answer. Finally called Motel 6 Corporate Customer Service - she called the office for me and got someone claiming there was no one in our room. Back and forth ensued, could not convince her that she was CALLING THE WRONG MOTEL 6!My wife got someones attention through the window, and got her to get the office guy. He called over Larry, Moe and Curly to work on the door, but no luck. They finally gave up. After 90 minutes, I finally managed to ruin my good knife jimmying the latch until it opened.Got put in another room, and got a refund in cash.Left around 7:15 the next morning, no coffee in the office. Save your money and sanity - youll do better sleeping on the side of the road.

The motel was clean, comfortable, and convenient. There was a lot of parking and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. I would give it 5 stars, but I was charged more than the price quoted on the Motel 6 website (and it wasnt for fees, taxes, etc - it was for the base price). When I checked in, the woman at the reception desk said that the price on the Motel 6 website was incorrect, and there was nothing I could do about it. I was too tired from flying across country and driving an hour from the airport, so I didnt argue - but I have never had that experience at any Motel 6 before.

Be warned! This old motel, formerly a Budget Inn, recently became a Motel 6. A local policeman who was called to mediate my dispute with the management told me they kept changing their brand because they kept failing inspections.My main beef is management seems determined to NOT to honor online reservation prices. If you book online, walk into the office with your reservation visible on your device.I booked online for the Senior Rate of $51. Since I have difficulty walking, my travel companion went into the office to check in. He was asked to pay $62. When he questioned this, he was offered "the lowest possible rate of $52,"-- more than the online price I had booked.We decided to stay an extra night--a Sunday night--hardly a full motel night. The woman manager told us we would have to pay the "regular rate" of $59, because we had received a "special deal" the night before.I proceeded to book online for $51 for the upcoming night. The female manager (whose husband I believe I met on an earlier triprefused to let me talk to the owner. She told me if I wanted the $51 rate for the room, I would have to vacate the premises between 11 am and 3 pm.I told her I had never encountered such a policy in 40 years of experience at Motel 6. I particularly wanted to spend a quiet day because my dog was injured and my traveling companion had a sinus infection. I suggested, "Call the police." She said, "I dont want you here. I will not give you a refund for the $59 you have prepaid."The policeman came and told the manager that her actions "made no sense." My traveling companion stated his preference to leave, and she claims that she gave me a refund although it has not yet appeared on my account.Be warned.

I stayed here when it was Relax Inn and it maintains same clean standard. The bed was comfy, refrigerator and microwave, for reasonable prices. It was clean, quiet, convenient to interstate but far enough away not to hear road noise. Will definitely stay here again when back.

I was pleasantly surprised with the customer service from the front desk attendant... The room was also well maintained, clean, and in good repair. My only complaint would be the shower head was horrible, other then that it was awesome. Great value for the price!!!

Stayed here while I was travelling. The room was clean and the motel seemed fully remodeled. Moreover, it is right next to I-59. Easy access to restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone and will stay here whenever I travel back to south.

The room was fine, and clean. However when I checked in the woman at the desk (middle aged white ladyexplained to me that there would be coffee at 6 and breakfast at 10. So my friend and I came to the small lobby at 10 to eat and check out and an Indian man informed us that there was no breakfast here. "No motel 6 in the United States has breakfast" and that may be true, im not sure, this was my first stay at a hotel 6. But I would have made other arrangements had that been the case. The website I booked through also said there was a continental breakfast.

the room smelled so bad, and the towels did too! No soap! No napkin! I found food crumbles on the night stand literally ON the nightstand as if they were trying to make people not to come here! This place should be FREE! It’s NOT even worth the $60 per night.

This is the worst Motel 6 Ive stayed in since you started renovating all of your motels. The flooring has been changed, and the bed spreads have been upgraded. The sink and faucet looked like original equipment. The water saver shower head was saving so much water, Im not sure I even got wet. I understand the purpose, and I agree with saving water, but if that is the purpose, why is the commode still at least a 3 gallon tank? There wasnt any Kleenx, not even a box, in the dispenser. The beds felt like they were there when the motel first opened. Very lumpy and very uncomfortable. Normally, I would recommend Motel 6 every time. But NOT this one.

Reserved 3 rooms had stayed here 2yrs ago was decent then. Was awful this time spider webs, hair in tub and sinks smells. Remotes didnt work ac units needed help. Staff need to find new jobs not friendly. People living here full time would not move out of our way to let us get to our rooms had to dodge them. Rooms had been booked for months scattered us around and put us around these people who were rude and loud. An accident waiting to happen. we had to unload all our stuff for fear of it going missing. So eventually the wrong people gonna show and there will be some bad stuff happen here but not for us we wont be back or recommend to anyone. if the health dept came there it would be shut down. Enter at your own risk.

My stay wasnt bad. But, the floors could have been cleaned better, and the blankets should be changed as often as the sheets (after every stay). They should provide the rooms with all of the usual "hotel room essentials." No one should have to call the front desk to ask for toothpaste and a toothbrush unless theyre asking for extra.

Staying here and workting here is fun in a lot of ways. Meeting new people is great unless they come into check in and are already tipsy. All in all, for cheap rates, clean rooms, and a friendly staff - this is the place to stay for a night or a week or longer.

When we arrived, the heat was not on (about 30 degrees outside), and there were no towels. After we turned on the heat, it did not work well. All night long the room was cold. Also, there was no blanket--only a sheet and a thin bedspread--not even a comforter. The water in the shower/tub did not drain out.I went to the front desk and was given towels. I told the clerk the heat was not on when we got to the room, and she said they do not turn the heat on before tenants arrive. I did not report the failure of the heat, the lack of a blanket, or the water not draining. We were tempted to ask for another room but did not want to go through the hassle.

THE ABSOLUTELY WORST MOTEL that I have ever checked into. 9pm on Oct. 26th 2017, I made the mistake of paying for a room at this Motel 6, in Attalla, Al. I asked for a non-smoking room - the "hostess"(new to job)said something about it was suppose to be non-smoking and that it should be "pretty clean"? I should have inspected the room before moving in - I wasnt feeling well and had driven 10 hours. The room had not been cleaned at all. There was cigarette burns in the bed spread, the chair cushion and cig stains on the bed stand, sink and bathtub. There was urine stains on the commode rim and filth everywhere. I pulled back the sheets to find a piece of a band-aid between the sheets.I went back to the office and demanded my money back - being new, this took the night clerk over 20 minutes to reverse the charges on my credit card.I wish I had not been so exhausted and had thought to have taken pictures.DO NOT EVER WASTE YOUR TIME BY STOPPING HERE!

Our stay was short but sweet. The room was clean. The bed was okay. New paint and floors were a plus. Quiet area. Easy on and off Interstate.

I stayed in this same hotel in May of 2016, under a different chain. Let me tell you that it has completely changed for the better. I actually thought I was making a reservation for a different hotel when I made my reservation on line. So when I found out it was the same hotel, I was more than a little nervous. But, everything has been completely re done. All the moldy smelly carpet was replaced with new flooring, new paint on the walls, new flat screens in the rooms. Greatly improved from the last time. Keep in mind that the property is older. Walls are thin and the doors dont shut quite right. But our room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the King size bed slept good. Plus the price was right. I would plan on staying at this place again.

Good price and nice man. That being said the water never got hot. The sheets and pillows had holes and stains all over them. The lights didnt really work that good and the Wi-Fi network was really bad. I wouldnt recommend to anyone.

Room was average, bathroom not clean. Advertised free breakfast but he said they dont do that anymore.......two windows were busted out in the room upstairs next to the office.....Hoodlums wandering the parking lot....but I stepped out of my room of which I was parked right in front of it....waved my gun around like a crazy person and I aint seen Noone else out since.
